Lucky John on Netgalley

Featured Replies

My first novel is now live on Net Galley.

Lucky John tells the story of John Roberts; A cheating husband with a 20 year grudge, who grows from being angry at everyone

he felt did him wrong, to praying that those same people will forgive him.
Family histories both proud and tragic play out in the background as John tries to figure out how to
fix the mess he's made.

Please take a look and let me know what you think:

Congrats. NetGalley is a nice sized investment. What made you choose to use them? What other marketing avenues are you pursuing?

My publisher suggested it and we shared the cost.

This is my first book so I am learning as I go and, in hindsight, I probably would have

skipped this one.

NetGalley reviewers prefer to read pre-published titles and mine

went up about month after publication. Traction has been slow, so far.

I'm spending a lot of time on Instagram reaching out to book clubs and reviewers.

Also doing a Bookbub promotion in September - also secured via my publisher.

That’s great and very useful information. I will be using them for my second book I need to find a social media manager.

I wish you best success and hope we communicate more.
