Books Which Mention My Father

As I Google myself I find more references to my father. Here are two books he was in. 
 

 

 

I may get around to writing a Monograph on him based on materials I gather.

It says here that your father ran for office as a Democrat.
He also supported Jesse Jackson.

Like I said, I wonder how he would feel about your dedication to the racist Republican party.

The Republican Party is no more racist than the Democratic Party. I already gave you the answer before. He would have no problem with me belonging to the Republican Party. He was a Communist and former member of the Communist Party USA with Gus Hall.

Wouldn't him being a Communist mean he would be CLOSER to the more Socialist philosophy of most Democrats than that of the ultra-Capitalist Republicans?

-From his career with labor unions.
-To his membership in the Communist party
-To his help with Jessie Jackson's campaign later in his life

You obviously knew him better than I do.....

But it's hard for ME to believe a man who spent his life fighting for worker's rights, ran for office as a Democrat, supported other Democrats,  and even helped Jesse Jackson out in his Presidential campaign would turn around and smilingly approve of his son joining a party that was diametrically OPPOSED to everything he fought for.

You have selected memories. I told you he was the mastermind behind getting Earl Harris Sr. as a Republican to the Essex County Surrogate position.
