daniellegfny
As I Google myself I find more references to my father. Here are two books he was in. I may get around to writing a Monograph on him based on materials I gather.
Pioneer1
Daniel Trying to access information from whatever you're posting up there is confusing.
daniellegfny
@Pioneer1what information are you trying to access. The Books are the sources to read. At the book you can search Clarence Coggins.

Pioneer1
Daniel No disrespect at all, just curious...was your father mixed race?
daniellegfny
That’s not my father. And that’s why Google can be misleading. Read the books .
Pioneer1
Ok, now this makes more sense. It says here that your father ran for office as a Democrat. He also supported Jesse Jackson. Like I said, I wonder how he would feel about your dedication to the racist Republican party.

They put your picture next to the white Clarence Coggins on the search engine page.... unless, of course, you're a Junior. @real Clarence Coggins - impressive. daniellegfny
The Republican Party is no more racist than the Democratic Party. I already gave you the answer before. He would have no problem with me belonging to the Republican Party. He was a Communist and former member of the Communist Party USA with Gus Hall. Pioneer1
Daniel He was a Communist and former member of the Communist Party USA with Gus Hall. OK? Although it's not the same..... Wouldn't him being a Communist mean he would be CLOSER to the more Socialist philosophy of most Democrats than that of the ultra-Capitalist Republicans? -From his career with labor unions. -To his membership in the Communist party -To his help with Jessie Jackson's campaign later in his life .....NO information that you've provided us with about your father so far suggests that he would even REMOTELY approve of your associating yourself with a racist ultra-Capitalist Republican party. daniellegfny
You don’t understand Communists. Once again Political Parties are meaningless to Marxist Leninist. By trying to fit them into your paradigm you miss the point.
Pioneer1
Daniel Lol..... The "point" is that you're trying to DEFLECT from the obvious.
daniellegfny
@Pioneer1your lack of acceptance doesn’t constitute a deflection. My father would not have a problem with any political party I choose to be in.

But it's hard for ME to believe a man who spent his life fighting for worker's rights, ran for office as a Democrat, supported other Democrats, and even helped Jesse Jackson out in his Presidential campaign would turn around and smilingly approve of his son joining a party that was diametrically OPPOSED to everything he fought for. I told you he was the mastermind behind getting Earl Harris Sr. as a Republican to the Essex County Surrogate position. Your inability to distinguish between means and ends and attaching emotional analysis prevents you from accepting my statement. With that I wish you the best in life. There’s nothing more to gain from conversing with you.
Pioneer1
Daniel There’s nothing more to gain from conversing with you. Typical selfish Republican attitude. "What's in it for me???" "If there's no personal gain involved, it's not worth my time." .....lol.
