She had raised her grandson as her own child. ย My Husband is retired military, served for thirtyย years, he achieved the highest enlisted rank,ย Sergeant Major, and was a Command Sergeantย Major for over tenย years.ย He knows a lot of peopleย and has connections. ย His friend's grandson was a commissioned officer,ย he was a Major stationedย in Germany. ย His wife stayed in the U.S. with their children,ย she wentย to Germany to visit him and found out he wasย having an affair.ย And the husband and wifeย gotย into a physical fist fight.ย It must have been aย doozyย because military police were called. ย Anytime the MPs are involved, the incident goesย onto a blotterย report that's distributed to all units/commanders the next morning, and everybodyย knows about whateverย happened.ย ย ย It could be a child or wife got caughtย shopliftingย from the PX, a traffic stop, or whatever, the soldierย is going to be held accountable by his chain ofย command if their nameย is on the blotter. ย So the Major was in all kinds of trouble andย was about to lose his commission and be dischargedย from the military when his grandmotherย called myย Husband.ย ย ย She asked if he could help, and he toldย herย there was nothing he could do about it.ย She said she wasย going to call theirย congressman. ย I could have told her that it would be better if sheย stayed out of it, I knew that she has a stubbornย temperamentย and that she would not listen to me.ย ย ย I have been around the military all my life, and Iย knew that she was making things worse andย wasting her time.ย ย If he was going to have an affair,ย which is notย permitted in the military even if geographicallyย separated from a spouse,ย he should haveย been more discreet and not broughtย his side piece to his apartment where his wifeย wouldย find evidence. ย They never should have had a physicalย fight, where either one of them could have beenย injured.ย For a commissionedย officer, this was not acceptable. ย So now the Major's whole military career is gone,ย hisย wifeย divorced him,ย his future had been brightย andย now it's trash.ย ย He lost his retirement pensionsย and everything else. ย Over some tail and not being more careful.ย Then beating upย his wife. ย And grandmother getting involved did not helpย anything. ย ย ************************************************************************************ ย ย ย ย ย Report

December 31, 20214 yr comment_48665 This may not be a very popular position to take but...I support my brother. When White women cry victim and claim that they were victims of sexual assault, they are usually believed by society until OVERWHELMING evidence is produced that erases all doubt and proves them to be liars. Now all of a sudden that standard is lowers when a Half-Black man claims to be a victim of a racist and homophobic attack. Now all of a sudden the police are suspicous of his claims, checking all of the video tapes, doing everything EXCEPT treating him as a victim of a crime. Did he make it all up? Perhaps But the interesting thing is even to this very moment despite over 90% of the public agreeing that he lied and made the whole thing up....HE still maintains that he was indeed a victim and that he didn't make it up.ย I find that VERY interesting that he stands so firmly on his accusations despite all of this "evidence" the police allegedly produced that it didn't happen. Another and more broader issue with this case is, if we reject Jussie and his claim.....it opens the door to rejectย OTHER claims of racial attacks. A racial attack claim used to be as sacred and indisputable as a sexual assault claim. You were almost villified for just QUESTIONING whether or not it actually happened. The Jussie Smollett case has changed that to where now if a Black man claims to be a victim of a racist attack...it's met with skepticism and sometimes open disbelief. How long will it be before people are lynched in the streets again and the claim will be "it didn't happen....they're making it all up"???? Report
