Troy Posted May 13, 2022 Report Posted May 13, 2022 Fat Ham, by James Ijames A funny, poignant play that deftly transposes "Hamlet" to a family barbecue in the American South to grapple with questions of identity, kinship, responsibility, and honesty. 1
richardmurray Posted June 7, 2022 Report Posted June 7, 2022 Yeah, IT has been hugely acclaimed by the white awards. As a variation on hamlet, a play varied infinite times already, I have no problem. Like all art it has a cultural element. I wonder how it is received in various tribes in the village. but happy for its success.
Troy Posted June 9, 2022 Author Report Posted June 9, 2022 I have not watched it yet, but will let you know what I thin k when I do. Please do the same.
richardmurray Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 @Troy I saw excerpts on pbs, how much is the visual record? I will not pay for the theater, though that is the best place to see it
