Speaking of Octavia Butler check out this free (no paywall) article in the New York Timeshttps://nyti.ms/3AZxzL3 This is one of the most visually compelling articles I have ever read online.

The Visions of Octavia Butler

As a science fiction writer, Butler forged a new path and envisioned bold possibilities. On the eve of a major revival of her work, this is the story of how she came to see a future that is now our present.

Also check out the new drama series premiering on Tuesday, December 13, based on Octavia E. Butler's novel Kindred.

This is very interesting! @Troy

I can't believe that this is becoming a drama series after she died!

She was very creative.

But if I were to be able to write as she has done so successfully, I would want to be alive to be able to spend the money generated from the success. Man!

This reminds me of what Monique said about Black women being elevated and acknowledged after they are dead.
