Fran Ross

Fran Ross (June 25, 1935 – September 17, 1985) grew up in Philadelphia. ter graduating from Temple University with a B.S. degree in Theater Arts and Communication, she worked in advertising, and penned television scripts. She wrote Oreo while working as a proofreader and journalist, and then moved to Los Angeles to write for comedian Richard Pryor.
