  2. Y'all know I'm not a conspiracy theorist; the Earth is an oblate spheroid; vaccinate save lives; and chemtrails are simply contrails... But do you think man is really capable of the technological advances of the 60 years? Look at our leaders. look at the country's literacy rates -- we can't even stop murdering each other for 2 seconds! It is hard to believe a people so easily addicted to social media can also produce AI and Quantum computers. I don't believe it -- it must be aliens behind the scenes. 👽 I heard we shot an alien spacecraft with hellfire a missile and it just bounced off, still they did not destroy us. Maybe they are an advance human race trying to stop us from destroying the planet we share. 🤔

  4. This is happening right before our eyes and I don't think most of us are prepared for this. True, but this does not mean optimists don't worry we just believe things will ultimately work out. My ex saw this as a flaw as a flaw in me. I used describe her as the "glass-half-empty-woman." I think people come out the box inclined to see the world one way or the other. Humanity probably would not have progressed this far without both perspectives.
  5. When the pendulum swings back and the smoke clears, America will never be the same, no matter which party prevails. Civilization aided and abetted by AI will morph into an entirely different society. If you're an optimist, nothing to worry about.
  6. Legally, POTUS OJ cannot run again.🤭 is being reported that POTUS OJ Is losing the base because he 1) reneged on campaign promises & 2) hasn't made their lives better & 3) grifting from the White House.😎
  7. The pendulum will swing back.
  8. That being the case,Trump's base could stand pat and re-elect him.
  9. Yesterday
  10. The alternatives to optimism are indifference, despair, depression & suicide.🤣 Very few people give that much of a d8mn about the current state of foolishness to go over to the other side.😁😎
  11. I didn't say Trump wasn't the embodiment of the American spirit. I'm the one who is lukewarm about this country. Y'all the ones declaring your love for America and optmistically thinking this nightmare will soon be over and the good ol USA will make a comeback. 😉
  12. I think his followers will like this one. When did the hippie white Jesus come into vogue?

  14. https://www.usnews.com/news/u-s-news-decision-points/articles/2026-04-13/lawmakers-behaving-badly-house-considers-historic-expulsion-spree Rep. Eric Swallwell (D-CA) & Rep. Tony Gonzalez (R-TX) have resigned from Congress amid s8xual allegations. Swallwell, who was a serious Democratic contender running for Governor, of California, has been accused of raping several women. Of couse, he denies it. Rep. Gonzalez has admitted to having an affair with a staffer who committed suicide by immolation (setting herself on fire). Two (2) Congress-folks facing expulsion: Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) who has been accused of stealing millions of dollars. Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) has been accused of threatening to release explicit photos of a former girlfriend. A judge has granted her a protective order against him. Both political parties are equally represented by these people. Guess politicians are trying to shake the boring persona. Some have gone too far.🤣😎
  15. POTUS OJ posted another picture in doubling down his mockery of Christianity.😎
  16. Gotcha. No worries. I'm perfectly fine as long as my login works here.👍🏿😎
  17. He IS the embodiment of the American spirit -- THAT is why he is a 2-time president and multibillionaire.
  18. OK I'm glad the regular logins work-- maybe that is for new accounts. I'll update my post. @ProfD There are some features of the main part of AALBC that require a login like following an author or adding a book to you bookshelf. My goal was to have a single login but to get over that tech hurdle is not something I'm not keen or starting right now.

  21. @aka Contrarian ...everything you wrote about POTUS OJ is true. The reality is that millions of Americans are perfectly fine with POTUS OJ & his BS. Unfortunately, POTUS OJ is the spawn of h8ll that will be broadcast around the world on America's 250th birthday. Ta-Da.🤣😎
  22. A Trajectory of U.S. Immigration at the Intersection of Immigration Policy and Rule of Law, hosted by Joyce Williams of Armooh Wlliams PLC In this episode of Brief Encounters, host Joyce Williams is joined by former Appellate Immigration Judge Andrea Sáenz and former Immigration Judge Anam Rahman Petit for a timely conversation on U.S. immigration law at the intersection of policy and the rule of law. Together, they unpack judicial independence, detention and adjudication, and the shifting boundaries of asylum—offering an insider’s view of how these legal frameworks shape due process, access to protection, and the future of the immigration system. IN AMENDMENT Two immigration judges were recently fired after dismissing deportation cases involving pro-Palestinian student advocates(https://lnkd.in/esQRdniJ) —part of a broader pattern raising questions about judicial independence in immigration courts. 🎙️ In Brief Encounters, Joyce Williams speaks with former judges Andrea Sáenz and Anam Rahman Petit about asylum, detention, and due process—and how policy pressures shape outcomes. 🎧 Listen wherever you get your podcasts.(https://lnkd.in/exBPN2G4) Andrea Sáenz + Anam Rahman Petit #ImmigrationLaw #RuleOfLaw #PublicPolicy AUDIO https://creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/dcbar/episodes/A-Trajectory-of-U-S--Immigration-at-the-Intersection-of-Immigration-Policy-and-Rule-of-Law-e3hljof/a-acj4jor Linked Referral https://www.linkedin.com/posts/joyce-williams071381_immigrationlaw-ruleoflaw-publicpolicy-activity-7450175380742811648-zckk?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAC9jwHcBhMdyfurNH2JmdlAPjJgXHivmWR8 EMBED <iframe src="https://creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/dcbar/embed/episodes/A-Trajectory-of-U-S--Immigration-at-the-Intersection-of-Immigration-Policy-and-Rule-of-Law-e3hljof/a-acj4jor" height="102px" width="400px" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
  23. Our login credentials work fine for the AALBC forum. I've noticed the other part of AALBC wanted me to sign-up (my regular login didn't work).😎
  24. I don't know how I'm able to post here, having not done the required procedure, but I'm not complaining.😛
  25. @ProfD Trump always takes the low ground, never the high ground. He says what a lot of prople really think and appeals to the worst in people, with his lack of propriety. England's royal couple, King Charles and his consort Queen Camilla are coming to America as a good will gesture in connection with America's celebration of its 250th birthday. Wouldn't be surprised if the meglomanical Trump tries to upstage them, and a lot of people will approve of this. Trump is an iconoclast, which wouldn't be such a bad thing if he, himself, wasn’t such a depraved, narcisstic, ignoramus. As POTUS, he's a terrible embodiment of the America spirit on the occasion of its 250th anniversity.
  26. No, I did not mean to suggest that I found something "innately wrong" with it. I was just curious about the motivation. Sometimes, perhaps often, we do things without understanding the true motivation. It is the same curiosity I have about people who wear spacers in their earlobes, cover their bodies in tattoos, or color their hair purple. I will admit 20 years ago I probably would have been more judgmental about those things. Today I could care less about what a person does with their own body, but I'm still curious about the motivation. Look, white people invented dying hair blond or at least popularized it before Black women began doing it. Obviously, white women were not motivated by race. Maybe it is not racial for our deeply melaninated women either.

  29. This week, as a distraction to the dust-up in Iran & stalled negotiations, POTUS OJ decided to disagree with Pope Leo XIV & depict himself as Jesus. Of course, neither Catholics nor Evangelical Christians condemned the actions to any significant degree. I love the phrase as it relates to people in general..."moral relativism & situational ethics". 😁 On a daily basis, the actions of POTUS OJ reinforce what people think, believe &/or are willing to accept.😎
  30. Should I Feature first post? Basically featuring the first post by showing it at the top of every page in the topic? Sometimes on multipage conversation who forget the what the original point of the conversation was supposed to be. Maybe this will keep conversation on track -- maybe it does not matter.
