I think the point about lobbying is interesting, although I’m not sure I’d go as far as saying that the public has never been a meaningful influence. Lobbying has certainly been part of US politics for a very long time, and there are documented examples of lobbyists influencing legislation and providing information to lawmakers. What I find interesting is that lobbying itself isn’t necessarily limited to wealthy corporations. Groups representing workers, consumers, environmental causes and other interests can also organize and lobby. The bigger question is probably how much influence different groups actually have and how transparent that influence is. Federal lobbying is at least subject to registration and disclosure requirements, with public records available for registered lobbyists and their clients.

I think it does. all of our experiences contribute to how and what we think and ultimately how we behave -- even if we are unaware of it. People are being replaced by AI; this is just a fact. At the current trajectory this will only accelerate. UBI will ultimately be needed, but people don't want to live on permanent welfare unable and unwanted as a contributing members to society--our culture is not built that way. Sure, some people will not mind sitting around scrolling on the screens, gambling on sporting events, and getting high, but for most of us this will lead to depression. I can't speak deeply to the teaching of either man, but I'd be surprised if their beliefs boiled down to all the world's problems being due to the 500-year-old concept of racism. It is something baser--human nature itself. We just can't help ourselves; too many of us are just so greedy we will do anything to enrich ourselves. Coincidence does not mean causation. Remember that, for it is the genesis of many a conspiracy theory. That may be true for the parents you spoke to but collectively the data tells a different story. Black men are in the minority at HBCUs apparently at Howard they are 20%, so even our own institutions can not stem the tide. People are now free to copulate with and love whoever they choose. Whether you see it as a crisis or not is immaterial. I don't see what you can do about it without infringing on who people choose to love.

If Black men have limited or no access to non-Black women either by cultural or racist programming, I don't see it as a major crisis. There's no constructive or productive benefit to our people if Black men can get down with more non-Black women. In fact, limited or no access to non-Black women should make Black men embrace Black women even more.😎

Women do not have the same motivation & drive as men. I don't believe they are racist. Most people gravitate towards their own race. Women are different from men when it comes to s8x motivation & drive. A combination of natural desire & cultural & environmental upbringing. Women can go wirhout s8x for decades especially if they're not attracted to men for whatever reason. Talk to brothas who have traveled to those countries &/or been around those types of women & you'll hear differently. As a musician, I know firsthand how easy it is for Black men to get at women of any race. Again, travel to those places un order to get a real picture of the situation. Culture & propaganda influences them. How hard are Black men trying to get with Asian women & striking out? There's a difference between actively seeking out women of different races & letting it happen casually. Most people prefer their own race. Smart money to stop pursuing women who aren't interested for whatever reason. Not sure how rape & violence is the alternative to a man attracting women with his natural swag. There's a price to paid for that too. Heavy is the head that wears the crown, er, gets stoned to death.🤣 Right. Warfare brings out all types of brutality. Understanding oppression is fine. Raping & pillaging like barbarians wouldn't be a good look. Why would a man be interested in her if she's clearly not interested in him? That woman has every right to give herself to the man she's attracted to for whatever reason. She doesn't owe a Black man a shot. Right. ProfD Right. But, your hypothesis would actually require study in order to collect evidence to support it. Sometimes you have to just look at the EFFECTS as well as who is benefitting from a situation to deduce what caused it. What I'm asserting is conspiratorial so the actions are clandestine in nature and few people would "admit" to it. How many White men would "admit" to being part of a grand conspiracy to demonize Black males so that women wouldn't want to have sex with them? Yet you can walk down the street with a White or Asian woman on your arms and look at the faces of most White men and know most of them don't like it. You also know that White men have historically threatened White women with serious harm and even death for sexual relationships with Black men. You may not see it as much of a problem or maybe not a problem at all, but I see it as a major crisis. I think the situation is too critical for Black men to sit around wasting time gathering definitive evidence and proof of being cock-blocked BEFORE believing it's actually true. That's why I wrote Black enclaves. Even in cities with heavy white populations, there are places where Blacks are doing well for themselves True. Some Black people will ALWAYS make it regardless of the circumstances. Even during Slavery you had Black folks who were during quite well. Troy Well, that is certainly part of it but the impact is probably minor given. This has always been true. Reading rates and literacy has been on a decline four years the pandemic has only accelerated this. Literacy has been declining in the AfroAmerican community since so-called Integration back in the late 60s. Before....during Segregation when you had all Black schools...Black students actually were better read, had better neater hand writing, and could count quicker. Even today when you talk to older Black folks who grew up under Segregation and went to Black schools....look at their hand writing and how neat and fanciful it is. Ask them to spell something and see how quickly they can say it. They also had better grammar when they wanted to speak it. Talk about the Pandemic, but I'll tell you something...... A know a few Black parents who said that their children learned quicker and made more progress in a year when they were being homeschooled during the lock-down than the years prior when they were in school itself.

Humans were biologically programed to mate with eachother regardless of race. Heterosexual women like men but that which.attracts them can vary over several factors. If an unmarried Indian woman moves to Nigeria and lives there for 30 years and not once has sex with a Nigerian man, do you think that's natural or was a choice influenced by her cultural beliefs? Only if Black men were more powerful in terms of security/protection & financial independence. I agree. There was a lot more interracial sexual relationships between Black men and White women in the 70s and early 80s than there is today! Because Black people were coming up and gaining power and respect in the world and White women saw it and wanted to get on that train while it was going forwards. Women of races flock to Black athletes & entertainers. Black American and White American and some European women do. How many Ethiopian, Korean, Iranian, Indian, or even Russian women are chasing after Black entertainers? Most of these women aren't getting with Black American men despite our wealth and prestige. I'm not just looking at a small pool of women here in America, I'm looking at women GLOBALLY and how MOST human women see and relate to Black American men. Most stems from their culture. They are taught to look down on Black people especially Black men. That's the point I'm getting at. Who do you think is teaching them that? Is it their own men, or the White media? Yet, there's no shortage of Asian women running around with Black men who were either in the military or currently active duty. Shortage? I'm not sure if I'd call it a shortage, but if MOST Asian women aren't willing to date or have sex with Black men because they ARE Black men....that's a problem; despite a few bruthaz managing to pull one or two here and there...lol. Black men need to stop with the selfish attitude of "I got minez...fuck dem' other niggaz" Go to any Asian country & you'll find the women hanging around wherever US servicemembers are located. They respect the power and status that brutha has being an American. And that's a good thing and we should use that to our advantage. That's one of the good things about the FBA movement. But when their children are raised in the United States, many of them regain that racist anti-Black male mentality. Many of the racist Asian women today who wouldn't think of dating or having sex with a Black man today...THEIR MOTHERS and GRANDMOTHERS were prostitutes for GIs both Black and White during the Vietnam and Korean Wars. Black men don't see it as a problem because those who are interested in non-Black women have no problems getting attention from women of other races. 1. So there is no such thing as a Black man "not interested" in non-Black women as well as Black women. We like women...period. 2. Since I was a kid I've seen SEVERAL TIMES where Black men hit on or made it crystal clear that they were interested in Asian women sexually...and were turned down. Very few times were their advances welcomed. It did happen...but it was rare. So perhaps what you're mistaking as a lack of interest is actually FORFEITURE Many bruthaz stopped even TRYING to screw Asian women because they figure it's a waste of time even trying to. The world has opened up just enough that it doesn't take much to have conversation with non-Black women & find out what's really on their minds. Most men over 25 have learned that what women SAY and what women actually BELIEVE are often two different things. If an Indian or Chinese woman has been conditioned by racist programming to think Black men are subhuman or part monkey and that's why she doesn't even consider sleeping with them....do you think they would ever ADMIT to this during a discussion? You can ask them all the questions you want, but at the end of the night...who are they going home to? Who are they opening up their legs to? Who are they having babies by? You can LOOK at society and how non-Black women treat Black men in that society and get a pretty good idea of what they're thinking without sitting them down for an interrogation...lol.

But I think the real issue is the rise of social media designed to grab and maintain your attention. I don’t think people really appreciate how powerful the algorithm has become. People spend hours a day on social media—hours! They are not crafting long responses or articulating nuanced ideas they are just scrolling. their feed and this is very compelling. We all have a fixed amount of time and you can’t be on social for hours a day and meaningfully contribute here. We are lucky to have lurkers, with Google integrating AI directly into search the Discover ability of this website will decrease. In the old days we had far more participants friendships were made. I talked to a former poster here the other day and she was telling me about a friend. She made her 15 years ago and there’s still buds. But making friends and finding lovers was never a reason why most people came here and posted regularly. Finally, there is one other reason and I think it’s the software. I’ve been on forums with a software look nicer and was easier to use. I would change it if I could find something that I could easily implement and then cost me an arm and a leg. And the last 28 years, I’ve changed the software twice and each time I lost participants despite each version being better than the last. I contemplated having AI completely rebuilding the discussion form from scratch. I’m fairly confident it could do it and it would make my site completely independent of any third-party software, which will be an amazing thing. It would also eliminate the login problems people like Harry. Dell and even myself have been having. A custom discussion for more firmly integrated with the main aalbc.com website may even increase engagement. Now that’s so much of the content on social this AI generated I’m hoping there may be a trend back to websites featuring humans having real conversations and not designed to hijack your brain. I’m definitely open to ideas and suggestions.

ProfD Culture & environment definitely play a huge role in attraction between both men & women. I think it plays a BIGGER role with women. Meaning, I think they're more easily influenced by culture and their environment. Except for the size of butts....lol...men all over the world regardless or race or culture tend to find the same things attractive about women. You don't hear about ONE group of men preferring "bad bitches" while another group prefers "good girls". Nor do you hear Asian or White men explicitly say "I'm not into Black girls or Latina girls". Even if they are racist....they'll still take a FEMALE of another race for sexual purposes. Nearly all heterosexual men tend to like the same things. Can the same be said for women? Regardless of culture/ethnicity/environment, I believe most women would prefer a high testosterone man. True. But how they would like for that high testosterone to be EXPRESSED tends to differ from one culture to the next. Further, It's scientifically proven that Black men have the HIGHEST testosterone of any other racial or ethnic group of men. Do you think most women around the planet consciously prefer Black men? Of course, women will settle for a different type of man especially depending on her mentality. There are millions of Chinese and Japanese women who WILL NOT settle for a Black man regardless of her circumstances. And it has nothing to do with his testosterone level, money, or confidence....it's because he is BLACK. This is a major "problem" around the planet. I put "problem" in quotes because for most Black men it doesn't seem to be a problem at all. Most don't seem to care how many women around the planet actually see them, especially compared to White men. Overall, culture & environment & mutual attraction put men & women together as it has since the beginning of time. Historically speaking, rape and violence have also put men and women together and even produced offspring. That seems to be the case in much of the worlds history. When it comes to conquered people and those living under the rule of domination, it's hard for us to really know WHAT the women of that culture really like because they are being controlled and programmed.

No, as an artist and a student of art history i comprehend that art resources used to be expensive. a quality canvas wasn't something every artist had which is why many artist reused canvases making works painting on canvases cleaned off. Culture & environment definitely play a huge role in attraction between both men & women. Regardless of culture/ethnicity/environment, I believe most women would prefer a high testosterone man. Of course, women will settle for a different type of man especially depending on her mentality. A feminist-lite woman may not want a high testosterone man. ProfD I've heard a number of Black people claim they hate reading & that books are boring. It's funny to hear women say books put them to sleep. On the occasion I see a group of Black females at a bookstore, most of the time they are in the romance novel section laying around on the floor reading THOSE books....lol. When I was a young person, I read voraciously. I'd go to the library & check out as many books as I could. When I wasn't playing sports, I'd be sitting outside reading books. I wasn't much in sports but I ALWAYS love reading. My mother taught me how to read before I even went to school. When I hear people say they don't like to read, that's why I start to question their intelligence Lol.... It's certainly a sign. Men & women gather in the same spaces & let them pheremones fly. Men and women get together, but in what racial balances? Are there an equal number of Black men with White and Asian women as there are White men with Black and Asian women? In other words, my question would be WHICH men seem to be leading to pack in attracting females and which men are lagging behind. Back in those days, they didn't medicate kids for autism & ADHD & other sh8t. Seems like a few good azz whuppings straightened them out.🤣 Part of the reason some of these young adults are lazy &/or disrespectful is because they didn't get f8cked up enough in their formative years. ProfD Bad Boy doesn't necessarily mean thug or gangsta. High testosterone man is probably a better description of what I'm referring to as a bad boy. I can agree with this. High testosterone is much more likely to be the reason so many rebellious and violent men are attractive to some women. It's a sign OF having high testosterone and being aggressive. In those other cultures, the people seem to be laid back & docile in general. Fewer bad boys &/or displays of high testosterone. If this is the case....then it's not about "women" as much as it's about the CULTURE they were brought up in and how they were raised. They were basically trained or conditioned on what type of man to find attractive. Well, couldn't the same thing apply to women in America? Could it be that women HERE are also being trained or conditioned on what type of man to like and find attractive? Otherwise, bad boys or high testosterone men are not the majority anywhere. I agree that the bad boys aren't the majority anywhere, but there are some ethnicities or communities where the men in general seem to have a higher testosterone rate than others.
