Most FBA/AfroAmericans are staying out of it. FBAs who have had poor interactions with Africans and other Black folks might feel similarly. They are entitled to it...VGQ. Troy I’m not sure what difference they would make if people read the Bible. There are so many different interpretations It’s hard to believe it describes the same religion. That being the case, how can you condemn another person's interpretation or claim it's wrong or taken out of context? Pioneer, for example, believes, the Bible teaches us that Black men have the biggest penises and accepts this revelation as proof that it is true — and this is after reading the Bible in four different languages! Actually, I only read the ENTIRE Bible in one....English. I read PARTS of it in different languages but not the entire thing....although that's one of my distant goals when I have time to do so. I've gotten a MUCH better understanding of not only the Bible but of history in general by taking a closer and more detailed look at the time period and what the authors really were trying to convey in their original languages. The reality is that for the vast majority of time the Christianity has been in existence, most of its followers could not read the Bible. Which is why they remained Christian. Most Christians who took time to actually READ their so-called holy book would actually LEAVE their religion. Reading the Bible is one of the things that actually took my out of religion. Especially when you realize by reading the Old Testament that the Bible teaches that their are MANY Gods/Deities....not just One. ProfD Back in the day, I remember public service announcements encouraging young people that Reading is Fundamental (RIF). There was also Reading Rainbow. Oh man, you're bringing back memories! I study sections and passages of it in it's original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic languages through TRANSLITERATION. It's a real eye opener. You realize that a lot of the words in English have been PURPOSELY mistranslated in order to confuse the readers.

It's not so much that he's saying what's on "people's" minds....he's saying what's on RACISTS' minds! I don't like how so many Black people on the internet and especially on social media are cheering his vile and racist attacks. To see so many Black Americans side with an open and avowed racist against other Africans/Black people is disturbing. Not so much that they didn't have it coming to them. I'm not in love with Somalis myself because much of my interactions with them on line was them being VERY racist and anti-Black American in general but they also tend to be very anti OTHER African as well and consider themselves superior. One of the reasons there are so many Somalis in places like Minnesota, Oregon, and Maine is because these are some of the places with the LEAST amount of Black Americans, who many Somalis try to avoid when coming here...lol. However there are 2 major problems with his rhetoric: 1. If he's talking like this about Haitians and Somalis...calling THEM "garbage" and saying that he doesn't want the in the country, how long will it be before he starts saying that about Black Americans? Will there be people all over social media hand clapping and cheering THAT on to? Will I see other AfroAmericans staring at the screen with their eyes wide open and shining "agreeing" with Trump and clapping their hands and saying "right on" or that he's "telling it like it is" by disparaging AfroAmericans as a community.....as if they aren't part of that same community? Where does this stop? 2. He's just talking. But don't think he's words aren't firing up the racists on the ground level ready to take action and do something. He long before we start hearing reports about attacks from private citizens on the groups he's targeting? That goes for this so called "New Black Media" who seem to be cheering him on in his attack against Somalis and other Black immigrants. This is one of the reasons I can't trust them. Because if you'll side with Trump over THEM Black folks....how do I know you won't side with Trump over YOUR OWN Black folks?
