I hear you but unfortunately that is impossible, or rather it bad in the longer term. Software becomes outdated, security flaws emerge, and as application evolve the older system are no longer supported, so upgrading become necessary and the most sensible thing to do. There are users of this software who are using older versions and are now griping because these older versions are no longer being supported by the vendor. But the vendor has no choice because the software is dependent on versions of scripting languages that are no longer supported. That happened to me this week. Shifting between universes did not occur to me as a cause, I chalked it up to some autocomplete feature that happened too quick for me to notice. I do sometimes imagine/feel one can shift from one universe to another, so you never know. Absolutely. I also believe we probably are not capable of comprehending all there is that is out there. The universe is a mysterious place.
@Troy I didn't think there was anything wrong with the old format. The new way is very .. "busy". You have to go through a whole process just to discern what's current. Also, I uploaded my picture thinking it would be a tiny little image replacing the initial "A" , it didnt do this. Instead, my profile provided a lot more info about me than I preferred to have known. Sometimes we should all just leave well enough alone. 😜

Speaking of conspiracy theories and computer technology and Aliens, the longer I live, the more convinced I am that there's more to "Life" than meets the eye, that what I once thought were delusions or hallucinations or dreams, are different forms of reality, vibrating at a different frequency; I definitely believe in a multi-verse and that I shift between parallel worlds. I also see images out of the corner of my left eye and sense that I have a spirit "guide" who looks out for me. Whether these are extra-terrestial or divine phenomena, they are super-natural and outre. I have also had some weird things happen in regard to computers deleting things on their own; especially when I went on a tirade about something better left unsaid; these rants would suddenly disappear from the screen as if I was being monitored. And then there was the "duplicated phrase" quirk as if, while typing, I shifted from one universe to another in the middle of a sentence causing an overlap which resulted in a phrase appearing twice in a sentence... Like just now, when the words "twice in" for some reason became underlined in yellow??? 🤫 Also, I always thought a lot more attention and investigstion should be given to the possibilities raised about other beings living inside the Earth. There are places in the South Pole that have never been explored by Man, and restricted areas there where pilots are not allowed to fly over... Whatever. Once I decided to just go with the flow when it came to the inexplicable, Time seemed to stop existing; now, - I just am. I might be dead and don't know it.😗 I've never been into conspiracy theories so I never questioned whether we actually went to the moon before, but now when I see the old photos of the astronauts on the moon, they look - phony. 🤫 And speaking of "phony", why aren't we given more specific images and info about the U.S. pilot who was supposedly rescued from the cave he was hiding in after being shot down in Iran? No name no actual picture of him. Nothing. I would think they'd be parading him around to justify the millions of dollars the rescue operation cost to pull off...

Of course, that is true indeed modern computers are backed by more than a century of advancement. But still the technological progress since I started this website has been astounding. The tech back then was from the stone age relatively speaking and so much more expensive. The barriers to entry to creating something on the web back when I started were relatively high. Today the only barrier, besides the tech giants, is one's imagination. Perhaps that has always been the case.
Absolutely. Only a small percentage of the population has ever been smart enough to do great things. Creativity & innovation aren't tied to literacy rates. Same goes for basic human behavior. Last week, a few astronauts returned from a trip around the moon supposedly.😉 NASA still uses a lot of the same engineering of 50 years ago to build the spacecraft. Heat shields prime example. Computer & AI is derivative technology built up over the past 50 years & counting.😎
Y'all know I'm not a conspiracy theorist; the Earth is an oblate spheroid; vaccinate save lives; and chemtrails are simply contrails... But do you think man is really capable of the technological advances of the 60 years? Look at our leaders. look at the country's literacy rates -- we can't even stop murdering each other for 2 seconds! It is hard to believe a people so easily addicted to social media can also produce AI and Quantum computers. I don't believe it -- it must be aliens behind the scenes. 👽 I heard we shot an alien spacecraft with hellfire a missile and it just bounced off, still they did not destroy us. Maybe they are an advance human race trying to stop us from destroying the planet we share. 🤔
This is happening right before our eyes and I don't think most of us are prepared for this. True, but this does not mean optimists don't worry we just believe things will ultimately work out. My ex saw this as a flaw as a flaw in me. I used describe her as the "glass-half-empty-woman." I think people come out the box inclined to see the world one way or the other. Humanity probably would not have progressed this far without both perspectives.
When the pendulum swings back and the smoke clears, America will never be the same, no matter which party prevails. Civilization aided and abetted by AI will morph into an entirely different society. If you're an optimist, nothing to worry about.
