Sure. Many leave for better opportunities abroad. It's harder for folks to stick around when the government & companies aren't paying well. Kicking out the French was a start. I'm aware of the African & Haitian version of zombies. When folks are high on certain drugs we call them zombies too. I.still don't see how these zombies are productive & constructive in solving problems or liberating their countries from oppressors. Gloria wasn't a big fan of marriage, believing it was a contract wherein a woman signed away her independence. ProfD Right. I reject the belief that white supremacists are thr smartest people on the planet. A willingness to gain power & control by any means necessary doesn't make a person smarter. True. However if you can't come up with an idea or plan to resist it or defeat them, what does that make you? If a person is constantly cheating you out of your money....over and over again...that says a lot about both them AND you, lol. Most old people aren't producing much of anything. I'm not sure how true that is.....lol....however the fact that they even MADE it to an advanced age in this world is worthy of some respect. There were so many things that could have took them out, from violence to disease. A lot of women related to the defendant and sided with her, just like Blacks flock to the defense of black victims they empathize with in controversial cases where they believe race is a factor.

ProfD I've heard the greed & corruption in under-developed countries is the reason wages are low & high-ranking government officials & contractors work together stealing money while doing the bare minimum to build the country &/or sustain it. That and brain-drain. A lot of the best talent and intelligent people....especially the youth...often LEAVE these nations and come to places like the United States where they feel their intelligence and talent will pay off best and get them the most benefits. The people would have to overthrown the corrupt government & put folks in place who are working for the greater good of their country. Captain Ibrahim Traore is a good example of a leader who appears to be working to make his country...Burkina Faso better. We'll have to see..... I need to see more than just armed men with big football shoulders walking around in military uniforms with masks over their faces talking about how they kicked out the French. ProfD A lot of information is presented as distractions to keep people from questioning that which they can see that actually affects their daily lives & existence. True. Sometimes you can't just look at the information itself but WHO it's coming from, to determine the purpose of it's presentation. Is it coming from an individual who is sane and has little to gain from lying to the public? Or is it coming from a government with a reputation for feeding the masses disinformation TO distract them? Conspiracies, Religion, politics, sports & music, etc., are forms of entertainment used to keep the masses in check. That's a pretty broad generalization....lol. I'd say this is so in some if not most cases, but again...after being dismissed as ridiculous we find out SOME conspiracies are actually true. If enough people from different backgrounds with different motives and interests are all saying the same or similar things, there must be SOME truth in what they're saying. Like the old folks used to say: Everybody can't be telling the same lie. How would people benefit from believing in such things? 2 major ways: 1. It helps them solve their problems 2. Even if it doesn't solve their problems immediately, it gives them HOPE that their problems will be solved. Let's say a person has the knowledge to physically live for hundreds of years...... That means they know how to regenerate the physical tissues of their body. This knowledge would help the person with debilitating diseases to heal their own bodies or give them hope of it. How would Zombies & trapping spirits in bottles benefit humanity? Zombies could benefit SOME human beings the same way clones and robots do, by providing a labor force. In my opinion, trapping spirits in bottles has little benefit outside of punitive measures for individuals who committed egregious offenses. But the knowledge of it is still appreciated. Distracting people with the ridiculous & absurd gives them less bandwidth to be constructive & solve real problems. I would replace the words "ridiculous" and "absurd" with LIES and FALSEHOOD. Ridiculous and absurd can be applied to things that are actually true but just not ACCEPTED as true or a possibility. 1000 years ago, the idea of a television or helicopter would be considered ridiculous and absurd to most people in society.
