What A Minute: Can Yall Figure This One Out?
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD By the time a human reaches 25 years old, they should have enough knowledge to pursue independence. It takes more than mere knowledge, it also takes a decent paying job with decent credit and credentials. Now a days just to rent a ROOM in most cities they require almost as much money and credentials as it used to require to rent or buy a HOUSE 50 years ago. Prior to the 90s, you didn't have to have good credit or be on a job for a certain amount of time just to rent an apartment. They didn't care about your criminal background on most job applications. But now....especially with the influx of immigrants....there are so many workers per job to fill that they have to make up reasons to deny people employment and sift through the applications. By the time a human reaches 50 years old, they should have some level of wisdom. You're being too generous....lol. I'd say by the time a person reaches 40 they should have SOME LEVEL of wisdom. Now obviously it should increase with age. In the 1st sentence the question is asked what percentage. 2nd sentence reads like you already have the data. What did you say about intelligence and wisdom??? Well, I'm over 50 and I've been paying attention, I should have SOME knowledge to show for it....lol -
Yes...it does - Can i protect and secure my family against all challenges?? As a young father i live with the continuous fear of can i feed shelter clothe and educate my family. In sickness and in health out of sheer desperation..... courage allowed me to endure all sorts of pain and privations. To secure my family to adulthood and see them to independence.. Bravery does not mean the absence of fear....bravery and courage means to face it or devise a means of success. The question is not whether or not you are fearful or are you adequate... We all have our fears...only the fool and ignorant has no fear or is unaware of his inadequacies. The question is will you use what you have to succeed against all challenges.. Even the most powerful King knows that eternal vigilance is the price of security True confidence is born of preparation One cannot prepare for every eventuality....so insecurity keeps you peaked(head on a swivel) Jealousy gives you that awareness of weeds that can grow into huge logs that can jam you up. Emotions are guides....not the road logics is the road Yes....some to pull you down and others to join you Being the alpha means the competition is ongoing and it never stops....so long as you remain winning. The cost you pay for success.. thank you Really it is matter of......you do not have enough info or can properly understand what you have True... Taking action and hoping that it is appropriate to achieve the outcome you desire.....despite the obstacles Here is the thing....the Good reason in that type of Guarding Women will succumb to the advances of men....especially if the opportunity for a dalliance arises. They are not Protecting they are Guarding...in short she is a prisoner of his Tribal Familial Bloodline. What is he really Guarding ....her Womb - to assure that it bears his seed Should the prisoner try to escape he will kill her just as readily and aggressively as he guards her This is not Jealousy or protection....it is Protection Racket not really understanding this comment above True.... There is a difference between an individual and things that i recognize.....free will I would not want to keep anyone....who doesn't want to stay I would not want any body to stay....who wants more or better than i can provide. True.... Then strive to get you own or a substitute... True...

Tariq Nasheed's Take On Mamdani's Election
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD Some have entertained the idea that the so-called "New Black Media" are actually being funded by Conservatives or some right-wing group to distract Black voters and pull they away from the Democrat Party. Even if they don't get them to vote Republican....just pulling they away from voting Democrat ensures a Republican victory. When I used to listen to The Black Authority....when I USED TO listen to him....I sometimes got that impression. So you raise very good questions. They'll beat up on the Democrats all day and call you a "shill" if you fail to be as hard on them...yet they don't tell us WHO we should vote for. For a long time, they didn't have ANYTHING negative to say about Trump. As was before....they wait until the man actually get's elected and sits in office BEFORE they launch any criticism of him or question his motives. Uncle Phil Scott was the same way. No talk of Republican racism until AFTER the elections are finished and people have voted already.....THEN you start doing stories about MAGA racists. -

Well, when they TOLD you that, were Black folk 1st class citizens? ....case closed. Ok, and now that Latinos, Arabs, Asians, and other groups are here what class has Black folks "settled" for? .....case closed. Lol...how many times do we need to "close" this case???? -
Tariq Nasheed's Take On Mamdani's Election
ProfD replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
I totally support the awareness and perspective New Black Media bring. My concern is they aren't providing actionable solutions to problems. They encouraged Black folks not to vote for Democrats. Cool. Who should Black folks vote? What demands are we making? What expectations should we have of these people? How much money are we putting behind candidates and/or another party? Having a platform is great. They like to quote or cite our master teachers. Neely Fuller Jr. always said communication should be constructive. Questions and answers for solving problems. Black folks know the problems. We don't seem to have an action plan for solving them. Just yapping and grifting. -
frankster Jealousy is not always a bad thing....neither is being insecure Both are means use by your subconscious mind to tell you something is not what it appears to be... How you react or interpret that information is what makes it beneficial or detrimental. I honestly didn't look at it from that perspective. Understood... Timidity is being cautious...scared is being extra vigilant So long as neither stops you from taking action to confront and recognize the cause. This reminds of the old saying that courage isn't the absence of fear...but rather doing what needs to be done DEPITE the fear. Not letting the fear overrule you or prevent you from taking action. True....that is his responsibility to protect and secure family This is why I have a measure of respect for jealous and protective men. I'm from Detroit and I remember when the Arabs and Chaldeans first started moving into the city in the 70s one of the things I noticed about them that stood out more so than the Black or White Americans...was how protective and "suspicious" the men were by comparison. Even as a kid I noticed how they would make sure they were always near their females and didn't let them talk to other races of men. How their women would look around at them and buck their eyes or look the other way when men of other races would try to talk to or joke around with them. ....for good reason. Because usually no matter where the Arab man was....if an American man said something to an American woman...he usually popped up out of nowhere to respond or answer the question! And didn't walk away and leave until YOU left. It is My opinion that one should be able to trust his woman to handle certain situation in a manner that makes you and herself happy I feel this way too. Part of me says a man should trust his woman to handle this situation herself, yet another part of me says if you want to KEEP her you better put her on lock...just like you do your car, house, and anything else you value...before somebody else comes along and takes it away, lol. Envy is an feeling based in lack Facts. But the fact is.....if you don't have it you don't have it. IGNORING the fact that you don't have it won't bring you any closer to having it than mere ENVY, lol. So if you want it....perhaps acknowledging the fact that you want it, don't have it, and are envious MIGHT motivate you into action to get it. I first evaluate her reaction. Exactly. I expect certain men to do certain things, but it's HER REACTION that I'm checking the most.

Not a mind reader but gotcha bro. I'm waiting to see how that Venezuela situation plays out. A US military ground invasion would completely jump the shark. It would criminal. -

You're right in that context is everything. Despite the circumstances, I grew up in an environment where Black folks were encouraged to be successful. We were never told to strive for 2nd class. My upbringing and the life I've built afford me a certain perspective. I cannot relate to Black folks having to accept less. IMO, our people are way too gifted, talented and intelligent to settle for less than 1st class. - Today

Not One of Us...When Non-Whites Get Reminder
Pioneer1 replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD Only difference is, most Black folks who do this KNOW they're still a nigga and rarely get it in their minds that they are the "same" as White folks. These other non-Whites....most of them actually think they ARE White. Not just "closer" to White...but ARE White. Especially the Indians. Some Asians like Koreans and Japanese think the are just "honorary" White folks but for some reason....as soon as they get over here some of the Blackest Indians will start parting their hair sideways and calling themselves "Caucasian"....lol. Think of the House Negro who reasoned that it was better living in the attic of his Massa's house, wearing second hand clothes, and eating left over food from his Massa's table.....than living in his own log cabin, eating beans and hog guts, and wearing rags that his wife has to patch together to keep his dick from hanging out while working....lol. Sometimes you have to look at things IN CONTEXT and don't let perfection get in the way of progress. If you'll recall, not so long ago I pondered the idea of AfroAmericans accepting legal "second class citizens status" if it GUARANTEED us a solidified socio-economic spot above every other race and ethnic group in the U.S. except Anglo-Saxon White folks. It's not ideal, but it's better than being last. -
Common sense does not negate knowing the rules of the game. Otherwise, it becomes harder to get in and/or play the game. IMO, it doesn't make a difference. Democrats aren't going to do anything more to help Black folks.

ProfD Talk about being a mind reader.......... When I first read your post I thought it was in response to MY giving the recent military actions in Venezuela that Trump has been ordering without Congressional approval. Then I notice you don't quote me as usual and when I went back up and re-read MY post.....I realize that I hadn't mentioned it. I was GOING to offer those boat attacks as recent examples but for some reason didn't do so. Maybe was distracted with something else at home...lol....but I left it out; however YOU obviously were up on what's going on over there. I've also read rumors of the U.S. military preparing for an imminent GROUND invasion. -

Just like Black folks who try to cozy up to white supremacists, I believe non-whites know they are pawns in the game. I think these types of people would much rather be 2nd class honorary white citizens instead of 1st class citizens among their own people. -

Jealousy and insecurity point to underlying fears of inadequacy. An intelligent, physically fit man who is capable of handling his business in terms of stacking resources (wealth) and self-defense has a level of confidence that does not make room for jealousy and insecurity. Again, a strong man i.e. alpha-male is capable of protection and provision without making moves based on emotions. People are naturally attracted to alpha-males. They don't have to compete for women nor have to worry about losing them. The biggest problem an alpha-male has with women is getting rid of the most toxic and/or least productive among them.

Deploying National Guard troops in US cities is a show. US government blowing up fishing boats in international waters under the guise of narco-terrorism is very real with about 80 people unalived. -

It is My opinion that one should be able to trust his woman to handle certain situation in a manner that makes you and herself happy True... Hate to me is not an emotion....hate is a sentiment Fear is an emotion that warns of danger real or imagine. Envy is an feeling based in lack I first evaluate her reaction....then i consider whether or not he has overstep That depends on her actions and reactions... Never....or only in physical self defense Was she flirting ? Hard to say without more detail True I do not see them as inherently negatively... And yes it points to what is in the individual... Information is pick up by our Senses.....This info is below the level of Consciousness - subliminal. Subliminal info is raw data.....feelings Depending on current Mind Set...Temperament or Disposition. Feelings become Emotions I disagree First you must define your definition of Jealousy and Insecurity? To me Jealousy is the fearing of losing something. Insecurity means to be in harms way exposed or unprotected. True... Keeping and Protecting his family is his business. He should not worry.. But he must be prepared for betrayal and testing True

Some National Guard troops being withdrawn from Chicago and Portland, official says The Trump administration sent the troops to those cities last month, saying they were needed to support domestic immigration enforcement personnel who were being confronted by activists and protesters. However, the troops never joined immigration operations in those cities because of lawsuits challenging their deployment. Some National Guard troops being withdrawn from Chicago and Portland, official says -Yeah right......"lawsuits" stopped him from actually deploying troops to crime ridden areas or helping round up illegal immigrants. Since when did Trump or any other president let "lawsuits" stop them from deploying troops to do whatever they wanted done? They sent in the National Guard to KILL people in the Los Angeles riots. The Army and Marines too. Like we suspected. A fucking dog and pony show. -

Focus on the first 12 minutes of the video.....the rest of the video is just Tariq clowning on the caller...lol. Tariq basically says the same thing I've been saying and stressed with richardmurray a few days ago about Mamdani's being elected as mayor meaning little to nothing to us as AfroAmericans and probably will cause more harm than good for Black New Yorkers. He also touched on how Indians came to Africa and exploited it.

ProfD There is nothing to gain in taking another man's woman. 1. If that was his GOAL....to take "his" woman...then that was the gain in and of itself! 2. As you've so often said before, people don't OWN eachother...so is that really "his" woman; or is she a free woman who can make up her mind as to who she wants to choose and be with moment by moment? A man's energy is better spent increasing his own wealth. In your and my opinion, yes....however people tend to have their own goals. If HIS particular goal isn't to increase wealth but to get THAT woman he's had eyes on since 9th grade....and he finally has an opportunity to snag her, then in HIS mind his energy is best spent chasing after her. It's best to not get involved with a woman who's not truly on the team. No stress. Some men learn that as they get older, some men don't learn it at all. Some men actually like the chase and the psychological games of trying to "win" her over to his team. It is unproductive. People cannot own each other. See....you just backed up what I said earlier about people not owning eachother. However FEAR is a powerful motivator. If you have wealth or women and don't want to lose them....FEAR and the prospect of getting hurt will prevent a lot of men from attempting to take them from you. A man should do whatever it takes to mske himself more attractive. More importantly, he should pursue women who are genuinely interested in him. You'll get no arguments from me on this. However if she's genuinely interested...he shouldn't have to pursue for too long...lol. Men don't have to be jealous or insecure if they are with women who are genuinely attracted to them. Unless another man she's ALSO genuinely attracted to also comes along...lol. Now you got competition. Depending on where one lives, works and plays, they can be around the same people of the opposite sex for many years without getting physical. Ofcourse. But proximity is the biggest factor. Most boys find their girlfriends...not at some public playground...but as school. Most men find their wives...not at a club or bar...but at work. Again, this is why most men from eastern cultures keep their women AWAY from working jobs and at home.

The question becomes was she ever really his woman and how did he lose her. Men don't have to be jealous or insecure if they are with women who are genuinely attracted to them. Realistic in my environment. Just like men, women cheat for a number of reasons. Depending on where one lives, works and plays, they can be around the same people of the opposite sex for many years without getting physical. There's several reasons culturally that men and women are kept separate. A man should only get involved with women to the extent that his mental can handle it.

Troy Another reason the Dems will prevail in the midterms... But does it really matter? If both of them are ultimately playing for the same team, what difference does it make to the progress of this society WHO prevails? Republicans get in office and fast forward the agenda....Democrats get in office and slow it down....Republicans get back in again and speed it up...Democrats get back in and slow it down. But it's the SAME agenda going in the SAME direction. Neither party is actually REVERSING it or REPLACING it. When I was kid you could buy all sorts of candy for a penny. They are already penalizing people at McDonalds by making it a policy NOT to deal with pennies anymore. Now they want to "round off" the change they give back, lol. More confusion. Can you buy anything for even a nickel today? Get rid of those too. Who still carries currency anyway? The only time I carry currency is when I play poker and spend the winnings The problem I see with this is its one step closer to going to a cashless society. Next thing you know they'll be getting rid of dollar bills or making it illegal to actually POSSESS one. The way things are headed, be prepared to PAY TAXES on your poker winnings because the only form of payment will be one that leaves a paper/digital trail....lol. ProfD The people who work for government definitely know what it means especially when they're sitting home or going to work and not getting paid. But that's by choice. Not THEIR choice but the choice of those in government who....like I said...TARGET certain programs and sectors to shut down while allowing others to operate. While they were shutting down air traffic controllers....post offices stayed open and the mail continued to get delivered. The average American doesn't have a strong knowledge of US government or Civics. Facts. And they play on....and prey on...that fact. But at some point COMMON SENSE should kick in. Anybody over 30 should be questioning how an actual modern GOVERNMENT could actually "shut down"....like it's a Dairy Queen, lol. Common sense would invoke such questions, instead of just going by what you hear on television or read in some social studies book. Hopefully, the people most adversely affected by the shutdown, losing paychecks, SNAP benefits, rising prices and goofy Republican policies and actions, will remember all of it during the midterms and 2028. That gives Democrats enough time to get their messaging right and field strong candidates, charismatic and capable enough to carry and deliver it As I asked Troy, does it matter? Would it make a difference? Good cop vs Bad cop....both of them are playing for the same team. We had Obama and Biden in the White house.....what difference did either one of those two make in terms of reversing what Bush or Trump did before them?
