Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed Move on Up. Ah, see you have a interest in Hendrix. I've many books on the great man. Which Baldwin books are you rereading ?
Oh, why don't you register with the forum?
I stopped buying books from Amazon a while back. Best move I've done in years. I also now don't buy anything from them. I only wish I knew about their endeavours a lot earlier but better late than never. Thanks Troy .
You could be right there. I did actually think about that a while ago.
Anyway,I should never rise to the bait but when I read the terrible things people, whoever they are, come out with and they are terrible, I can't help myself.
@Troy Racism is everywhere. For all my sins I occasionally watch Roland Martin and Karen Hunter on You Tube. I've had many a argument and out and out slanging matches on these channels with white racists. They just don't let up. I've even had some of my comments deleted even though the racist scum comments are left. Figure that one out. I've only given as good as I've got.
Most if not all of the books I've looked for in the last few months I've found available in the UK. Occasional ones in the States but the book could be pricey plus there's the shipping. I'll check out your shop all the same.

@TroyIt was on once a week from roughly Dec 63 to Dec 66. It mainly featured various bands and artists but also had a number of specials like this one. Quite a few shows have been lost forever unfortunately including a James Brown special from 66.
