  1. I am so tired of hearing certain stereotypes on African Americans like All black people like water melon, this might be true but do you really know why it originated, because back in slavery times black people were only allowed some meals, like, water melon, rice and bread. it fills them up, other thing like fried chicken is apart of the traditional African American meal, such as Fried chicken black eyed peas and corn bread. and people think that all African Americans use improper language and that they sag their pants but i don't think so, because there also Caucasians who try to do the same thing! but there are African Americans who can quote the dictionary. JUST SAYING anyone know where I'm coming from.
  2. thank you, so their are people TODAY with common sense
  3. Yeah i totally get it, we shouldn't have to be pushed to feel sorry, we should already have sympathy to help and care, and not feel sorry but to feel sympathy, yeah, i totally get it DEAR RICKY
  4. If you really think about it there was a time where people used the word brother and sister, now people address themselves as nig***, and address young black women as b's or thots(whore). i even see some young females address there own self as a bit**, it's ridiculous, is there anyone who feel the same as i do. because like i said there was once a time where we were Brothers and Sisters and kings and queens, and i'm not being judgmental but you actually seen women in dresses or pants or something where there not exposing themselves, or fighting and carrying on, and getting drunk and young men not calling females out there name, I'm not saying it's totally demolished but seriously we need to see it more often. ONE more thing people tend to forget what our ancestors done to not be called some certain names and they worked hard to earn respect, it's time that us young black females and males start to respect ourselves. JUST SAYING.

  6. Woman Admits Infecting More Than 300 Men With HIV Nakuru, Kenya — A Kenyan woman has admitted that she has purposely infected over 300 men with the HIV virus. And she told the Kenyan Daily Post that she’s doing it in revenge for a man who had unprotected sex with her while she was drunk, and gave her the virus. The woman, whose name remains anonymous, is only 19 years old and said that she was a virgin until she went clubbing with some students at a local university. She claims that when she woke up the next morning, she realized that one of the guys had sex with her while she was intoxicated. She asked the boy if he used a condom and he told her “yes”, but when taking a bath she noticed semen in her vaginal area. “I wanted to commit suicide, I feared getting pregnant and HIV,” she said. And sure enough, in time, she did find out that she was HIV positive. And that’s when she decided to get revenge on as many men as possible. “I buried the good girl in me and became the bad girl, my goal was to infect as many as possible,” she explained. According to the Kenyan Daily Post, she has confessed to infecting 324 men, 156 of which are students at the Kabarak University where she studies. She says the rest are married men, lecturers, lawyers, celebrities and politicians. She added that her goal is to infect 2,000 men in the East African nation, the Kenyan Daily Post reported. “Not a day passes without me having sex, mostly 4 people per day,” she continued in her confessional. The newspaper she confessed to promised to keep her name private, but they did post photos of her from her Facebook page. What do you think? Is she really doing this? Or is she just trying to get attention?

  9. Wow, you gotta be careful, that's sad, these things that occurred years and years ago are coming back, we need to pray, stay in the mist of Jesus, stay together and be strong.
  10. I agree because persecuting Africans and Christians goes back in history, with every crime that has happen some has been identified as hate crimes and persecution, that’s why I think their should be more people who speak up, and take things to the court of law, with all the police brutality us Black folks have to start speaking up, you know where I'm coming from.
  11. I cannot stand seeing young girls with something that's not theirs, like I'm not all for wearing hair pieces, i believe in wearing your hair natural. and i wear mines natual all the time, mostly in a Afro, every now and then i would wear my hair in box braids. and some people tried urging me to get a perm, but I'm not doing that, I'm loving my tight curls, i really think, that, wearing hair pieces and perms are a way for the white man to make sure that young black women not to embrace their natural appearance. i think that all young African American women should wear their hair with out perms and hair pieces that's just something i believe in i was watching a debate on that, here i will send a URL at the bottom so you all can check it out, is there anyone who agree with me or know where I'm coming from.
  12. Thanks, I always like to involve myself in things like that, that's one of the ways i embrace my heritage, the other way is that i wear my hair natural all the time, you like that, ive been thinking on starting a website on African American values but it's difficult can you help me Mr Troy.
  13. i'v been in two or more placements, and one of them were owned by a African American Mr Herbert, it was scaffner in steelton, they did things on black history day, we went to the blacks wax museum, had a dinner and all of us young people were doing skits and plays on African American culture. and i don't know if you ever did this at school or talked about it, but a couple of kids pretended to be a African American leader and told us about them, it was nice.
