  1. Richard Murray Thoughts Round 5 https://www.kobo.com/us/en/audiobook/richard-murray-thoughts-round-5-1 ----------------------------------- Title: Introduction Good Morning , Good afternoon, or Good evening, wherever you are listening, I am Richard Murray and welcome to this audio edition to my thoughts. Remember, to click the link in the description of this edition to view the transcript, that has links to everything I refer OR to send me a message about a topic you want to hear in the future. ------------------ Title: CAF round robin part 2 In round four of this sports blog , I spoke about a dialog between myself side Julia Wanjeri speaking on my thoughts for the confederation of african football , who are unable to find a host for next years womens cup of nations, so i suggested using the conmebol mens flag systems as a guide In part 2, I will speak about my reply to her query to money. Remember the full reply is linked in the text transcript to this round, linked in the kobo description Julia asked, where is the money to finance the round robin idea i suggested in the last round. I miscomprehended her implications, she did not suggest that no money was present nor that he was ignorant to my suggestion but simply think it a terrible idea. The following is my idea to financing my idea to round robining womens flag play in the confederation of african football Begin quote The issue is not merely where money will come from but how money can be saved. What are the costs to flag play? players/coaches/trainers or staff/travel expenses/pitches If a football association want to save cost as a primary action while implementing my proposed system then Players- do not get paid for playing Coaches/trainers- do not get paid for coaching or training Medics- get paid Travel- players will have to pay to get to the locations or will have their travel paid for nby some outside group. Pitches- Football associations can make a penalty system. The concept is simple, you already have pitches, each pitch in the top two tier are viable. One by one must be used as a ground, but be in a certain condition, if the pitch isn't all the teams in the top two tier are fined. This will mean, every team in the top two tier will have to add one game every two season for the womens national team, where they maintain the pitch and pay for ball boys and other pitch activities Referees are paid by CAF. The first questions are obvious, If players demand payment or coaches demand payment or travel pay, then what will happen? They will not play for a Football association that uses my financial suggestion to partake in my proposed structure to womens flag play in caf. The clubs will fall in line based on the fine, and they will offer pitches to play for the flag teams. The football associations have to pay the medics. Now what happens when no players or coaches are present, then the flag forfeits the match and they earn a lose. What if both teams do not show up, then both teams earn a lose. The goal of the system isn't enforcement, it is raising opportunity or challenge. If mauritius/comoros/togo/mauretania side others do not have players/coaches available for play then they will forfeit, and earn a lose. The key is , none are being denied opportunity and the challenge is high. Venezuelan mens soccer in conmebol is the best living example. This is a baseball country that for years played less than amateur players at times, against the likes of brazil or argentina. Decades of unconcern. But, eventually, Venezuelans got into the administration, and said they wanted to do better and they did and now, venezuela is still a bottom team but they are doing better than years past. IT is a slow process to get better. Let us say, for example, I am the president of one of the following football associations, Comoros/Sao Tome and Principe/seychelles/guinea-bissau . I have no money for womens soccer. I can not pay for coaches/players/trainers/medics. I may not even have a stadium to play in. What do I do? Well, first strike off all away matches. I can not pay for the travel. So, in fourteen member COSAFA , the team will have thirteen loses in the Cup of Nations subconfederation table and thirteen loses in the world cup qualifying subconfederation table. Now for the home matches, the answer is simple, free public tryouts. I suggest a goalkeeper/backup goalkeeper/four defender/a backup defender/four midfielder/a backup midfielder/two forward/ a backup forward. The tryouts can be based on simplest athletic or skill ability, speed/strength/number of times a player can keep a ball bouncing. Me and the other administrators can do this. The selected players choose who to be their player/coach. Two days later, they play. Is this the best possible format for an football association to work, absent money? yes. Soccer as a sport started with non paid players, playing on rough pot holled pitches. Some how people have forgotten that or made that seem backward, but the goal is not to play on the bernebau pitch, the goal is to play as best you can, no complaints. End quote ... I do not have the financial power to make any changes I suggest. But, the current system clearly is dysfunctional for the womens game in C.A.F. If the system does not change, then the opportunity or challenge is not lessened, even if the current system allows a less embarassable view to CAF. But I am not embarassed by a football association in CAF using the cheapest means to be effective, it is better than doing nothing and the current system challenges most flags in C.A.F. to do nothing <aalbc original postpost https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/?do=findComment&comment=779 > <caf round robin in round 4 transcript https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/?do=findComment&comment=777 > ---------------------- Title: The Local club Hope Solo , the greatest goalkeeper of the usa womens national team, and a current pundit to beinsports usa, shared a great question on her twitter The question asked , if you had the chance to revitalize a historic team , who among teams will it be? I come from harlem in manhattan in new york city in new york state, as a black person, Harlem I grew up in had only one team in its history that was initiated, owned, controlled, populated by black people and that was the harlem rens. If I had money I would restart the harlem rens as an all athletic club, in the way they exist in germany or brasil. what say you? Name a historic club you will restart or invest in if able. <referral https://twitter.com/hopesolo/status/1201529950693732353 > <original question https://twitter.com/hopesolo/status/1201528731610865664 > <genesis to original question https://twitter.com/THEChrisKessell/status/1197571779688124416 > ----------------------- Title: Balon D'or Megan Rapinoe side Messi won the Balon d'or of ball of gold for 2019. I am an opponent to the balon d'or as I feel it is dysfunctional. If I had my rpeference I will delete it but even if it must be, my biggest issue is the dysfunctional aspect it has. But to tackle the issue, the first point is determination. The question is, how can one player be determined to be better than all others in a team sport. The problem is no system exists that can provide a player who can not be contested. But the media thrives off of the contestability in picking a balon d'or. I rephrase, the media, all concerns throughout humanity know people will have warranted contestations to whomever is picked, and thus use communication channels , like blogs/twitter feeds/et cetera to state their complaint or defense or case. sequentially make money for media concerns The problem in using statistics is the team environment manipulate those statistics. If messi players for levante is he part of a trophy lifting team? The statistics messi earned is based on the quality he play aside. The problem in using team achievement is it is based on the team? If Rapinoe played for italy or ireland would she have such a huge online fanbase or had won world cups? The achievements she earned or the media sounding to her achievement is based on their team. When Leicester city won the epl, Ngolo kante/jamie vardy/mahrez/kasper schemichel/wes morgan/shinji okazaki were not lauded as loudly as van djik/allison/mane/firminho/salah/ in liverpool who won the uefa champions league. Why? liverpool has a larger media footprint than leicester city, but does that make liverpool's recent achievement in the uefa champions league greater than leicester city's winning the epl? Is Jamie Vardy's goals that season less value than salah or sadio mane's last season? Is Ngolo kante's assist or interceptions during leicester city's run less valuable than virgil van djjik's during liverpool's recent uefa champions league win. But, if no method exists to determine one player is above all others , but the two balls of gold must be given, what is the solution? The solution is to focus what the ball of gold represents. What factors do people look at in determining a players greatness in the beautiful game? Trophies won with club or flag statistics on pitch persona media strength Trophies won with club or flag or statistics have trophies already. World cup trophy/Copa Libertadores trophy are examples of trophies players will get when they win for a club or country. Statistics like scoring or saves or assist have the golden boot/golden glove/assist leader respectively . What award exist for on pitch persona? none What award exists for media strength? none Sequentially, my solution is to focus the ball of gold awards to on pitch persona side media strength. And if you take into account on pitch persona or media strength then messi side rapinoe are the undoubted winners in the christian calendar year two thousand and nineteen. Messi has the highest meida profile of a male while rapinoe has the highest profile of a female soccer player. If we delete club achievements or individual statistics from messi or rapinoe they win the balon d'or but the common media's attempt to link balon d'or winners success to their teams successes or balancing their statistics aside other players always unfairly, is deleted and that cleans up the dysfunctional arguments through media, which is probably what common media does not want, going back to the question , what is entertaining in sport punditry <reply to Naa Bardina https://twitter.com/Thetenner10/status/1201608541267734532 > In Amendment JAmie easton made a comment about the balon dor, a historical one that made me think to some things <referal https://twitter.com/eastonjamie/status/1201634494647820289 > I paraphrase my reply to him in the following prose... has anyone powerful considered making the balon d'or for the top players in uefa/conmebol/caf/afc/concacaf? since each subconfederation to fifa has a top player, let them all win the balon d'or for a year. That solution lessens the need for competition and allows each region an equality that the balon d'or uefa centric community rejects. IN AMENDMENT 2 Another idea is less spoken off, but in club soccer, when a club wins a certain number of titles, they achieve a star on their shirt. Maybe if a player achieve two or more balon dor, then they get a balon de diamant. Basically, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge,Kevin Keegan,Alfredo Di Stéfano,Ronaldo,Franz Beckenbauer,Marco van Basten,Johan Cruyff,Michel Platini,Cristiano Ronaldo,Lionel Messi all receive balon de diamant, and cr7 side messi can no longer be eligible for the balon d'or. For players whose spirits have flown or players who no longer get paid to play they will get their balon de diamant while cr7 and messi can get their balon de diamant and can now battle out the new balon de diamant for still playing balon de diamant players. so 2020 balon de diamant can be between messi/cr7 solely. In this way, it makes the balon d'or more honest or competitive as heavily popular players have a limit on how many times they can win it. And other players who warrant more on the year have more space to win it. ---------------------- Title: Good Thoughts Congratulations to wendie Renard < @WRenard > for being the outspoken, blunt, beautiful, captain she is Congratulations to the youth teams , under 18 or more from Olympique lyonnais or INAC Kobe in their recent success congratulations to Chiamaka Nnadozie for being deemed the best goalkeeper in the confederation of african football < referral https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/page/10/?tab=comments#comment-780> ............................. 3. Julia Wanjeri asked , Where again is the money to pull a round-robin all the way? Which are these African FAs that are willing to pump the amount of money that this requires into their WNTs? https://twitter.com/jwanjeri/status/1201405152370053126 The issue is not merely where money will come from but how money can be saved. I repeat, my system gives opportunity to all but also challenges all, not just players or coaches but administrations to be better. And if they fail that is fine, they can fail for decades, the opportunity will always be open for them to improve. And, eventually, as in conmebol mens worst performing teams, they will improve over time. 4. weekend 12-1-2019 #gladbach #galatasaray #atleti Borussia Gladbach vs SC Frieburg in Germany - it is not even halfway through the season. But I have boasted to gbayern munich fans about this season like gladbach won it. All I can do is hope gladbach can make it to the end of the season. Gladbach not dortmund was the last true competitor to bayern, that was in the 1970s but it happened. It will be work but this season may be the greatest gladbach season in memory. End game- celebrating success https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IiP4ZF2cA?fid=1034:4444862301593244 Highlights- 4-3 top of the table, love fohlen , https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IiP5unmI8?fid=1034:4444862779464267 Galatasaray vs TRabzonspor in Turkey - good draw, the season is long in turkey, after watching quite a few seasons following gladbach i do not let positions before three quarters of the season is done. Yuto nagatomo did well with this draw which was great for the long term needs. Alexander Sorloth- the header movement is lovely, look at the reply, how he bends in the air https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IiPbqgqh8?fid=1034:4444865870952332 Yuto Nagatomo- a needed goal, good attentiveness , I remember yuto from Inter Milan. Always trying his best. https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IiPm22gLh?fid=1034:4444872992620499 FC BArcelona vs Atletico MAdrid- my atleti lost 1-0 but it was a great battle. Atleti this season are the most determined to be an attacking side not a counterattacking side. But, this team still needs massaging from defense to attack. The reality is, media pundits have a way of demanding teams who use a certain level of money or have achieved a certain level of consistency play an attacking style. I don't think Simeone is convinced that an attacking style is best suited but he is trying harder than prior seasons, when he chose to place atleti into safe hands defensively. I do not demand atleti win anything, I demand a side that has an idea that plays it out. I think the demand to win trophies is a dysfunctional desire for any team and why so many big money teams make foolish choices. be stable and keep trying, sooner or later, trophies will come. Sport is not war. Ter Stegen save - it is worth everything, a kick save from under himself https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IiQeXzhl8?fid=1034:4444906987687892 Ter Stegen save 2- great short distance save https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IiQmi23eS?fid=1034:4444911551093156 Lionel MEssi game winner https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IiQNFkS5Z?fid=1034:4444928407701725
  5. Richard Murray Thoughts Round 4 https://www.kobo.com/us/en/audiobook/richard-murray-thoughts-round-4-1 ----------------------------------- Title: Introduction Good Morning , Good afternoon, or Good evening, wherever you are listening, I am Richard Murray and welcome to this audio edition to my thoughts. Remember, to click the link in the description of this edition to view the transcript, that has links to everything I refer OR to send me a message about a topic you want to hear in the future. ----------------------------------------- Title: dialogs side phil schoen or mike fuentes I had a dialog side Phil schoen < https://twitter.com/PhilSchoen > that I connected to another dialog side mike fuentes < https://twitter.com/mikefountains > concerning punditry. The link to the messages or content is in the transcript but I wanted to convey the ideas. Phil schoen's position to my query of womens or lesser known mens soccer teams having social places online that are not active is... that they are a good investment in terms of outreach or audience, but the financial costs is to the club. Mike Fuentes suggested,I am paraphrasing not quoting so please use the link in the transcript, that punditry is entertainment. While I concur, punditry as a form of entertainment is managed to have a certain set of normals that are not always in the interest to the sport but in the advertisers or sponsors or media concerns agenda. When france won the world cup, a coach from holland suggested that he was not impressed by the manner in which the french team won the world cup. Clarence seedorf, a fellow dutchman sat next to him, and was gentle or not negative in reaction but was clearly not in agreement to suggesting that any team who wins the world cup is unimpressive in the way they play. But the negative pundit reaction to france winning was about agenda? France's ligue 1 is not the top in uefa and not the best for chinese or statian , meaning from the united states of america, players to come to and thrive historically. So, many media concerns do not want a light on france that is positive. CR7 or Messi have had various media issues but neymar is the pantomime criminal , even when unwarranted. This is based on the huge amount of media investments that do not want to see the cr7 /messi era dwindle and see neymar as a problem in that setup. In parallel many clubs do not want neymar/mbappe to remain together in psg as that would mean the top two global stars play on the same team in the same league and have utter dominance, thus many non french media outlets emphasize schism between neymar/mbappe. Now, all this can be entertaining or is entertaining but the generation of it is not to entertain but to mold the environment. Always suggest offering questions to phil scheon or mike fuentes, they are good for an answer. <reference https://www.facebook.com/officialphilschoen/posts/988762268126246?__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARDV512GPUE-Ozz9bK2Z7xE7rmfLzdSkT3k5dDXMCfgWL7EEgzZPalP-b2qYWujOnMN6M1dBb4rYIHmlvNS6T7zX8_4P1KfRSeK1PXgigreQr0OfofM9gHoV_C8jmN1d4cX2w3na5ihp9wzbqFQWjQXCGBxp7912JN9aaPgj8q-1koYSuFdHc0n-0aKDbG8TDw7p_kae9iQ&__tn__=-R > ---------------------------- Title: Mark Sampson Mark Sampson , former england womens coach, was fired after racist language. I do not know what he said exactly, but Lianne Sanderson's reply said it best. Begin her quote Something I forgave but will never forget. I hate that this is resurfacing again but again all you can do is be honest and continue to live your life. Hence the fact I chose to not go to Wembley. I’ve seen SOME of the girls and have no problem but this still upsets me now. End her quote I consider her words balanced, and I quote my amendment to her words Begin quote just because a person does not respond with violence in response does not mean they will act ignorant in the future End quote negative Bias is older than humanity and will outlast it. In the end, i do not see a way to eradicate it, but for those trying to make it small, it will take a long process for that, especially based on the events that made modern humanity. To reply peacefully one must reply honest and live one's life, but sooner or later some will choose to reply unpeacefully. <referral https://twitter.com/liannesanderson/status/1197238837103214594 > ------------------------------------ Title: Black Coaches in white leagues One of the problems in humanity is the idea that ownerships monoracial demographics do not influence labors demographics. To place it bluntly, those who own reflect their demography in their workers. In humanity, men are the owners usually, the world of sport reflects this as most sport team owners are males. In modern humanity, most owners in any country represent the majority phenotypical race. So, in nigeria or south africa, black african countries, most sport team owners are black africans. In egypt or morocco, mostly mulatto or arab african countries, most owners are mulatto or arab african. In england/usa/brasil/china, white countries, most sport team owners are white. Whether white european/white north american/white south american /white asian respectively. And, no illegality or criminality exist in said truth. It is no negativity for a country mostly white to have mostly white ownership. The problem is, if non whites<black/mulatto or arab/mestizo> are supposed to be free in countries mostly white, then where does their ownership reside? Where do black britons own in the sporting landscape of U.K.? where do Black americans own in the sporting landscape of USA or BRazil ? Where do Black asian owners, black is phenotypical and in this case skin color, own in the sporting landscape of China/Japan? The article linked in the transcript asks the question to black coaching in the soccer world in the usa, but to me the question of the black owner in the soccer world in the usa, answers the coaching question. If you have more black owners, you will have more black coaches. Look at the confederation of african football or the caribbean football union, each suborganization under fifa is full from black owners, and thus black coaches to their clubs. The article linked gives forced opportunity to black coaches in white owned teams as the answer, but my answer requires no enforcement, make it where black owners can arrive and the coaches/trainers/administrators et cetera will follow. The proof to my position is in the confederation of african football or the caribbean football union. In both regions under fifa, black owners or coaches are in high percentages. What is the point, they prove the more black owners exist in any region, the more every role in a soccer team will be fufilled by black people. The system of FIFA already allows all phenotypical races their own tables, they do not need a seat at the white table in the usa/uk/france or other. Now, if non whites with money are not interested in improving their tables, that is their problem, but it is not the problem to whites. In Amendment I asked the following If more black owners existed would more black coaches exist? the replies I got were mixed. Some said, that black owners are not bound to help or give opportunity to black people. Some said yes, if more black owners then by default more black opportunity. The views ended in the middle ground. <referral https://twitter.com/ArnoldcommaJon/status/1197540165364985856 > <article https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/why-arent-there-more-black-coaches-in-american-soccer/1s6u9x6h6wade1pwkhx84r3n6y > <referred by Phil sChoen https://twitter.com/PhilSchoen > <not to mention, my original reply to the tweet The answer is simple to me, but I ask any who see this to answer, why more black /female/latino coaches are not present in us soccer? @ArnoldcommaJon good article @PhilSchoen good share > ----------------------- Title: salary cap in usa womens soccer UEFA is the key, soccer is not based in the usa, it is based outside and outside the usa the salary cap is not wanted <article https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2019/nov/21/salary-cap-losing-its-relevance-in-changing-landscape-of-womens-football > <referral https://twitter.com/WOFLIB/status/1197655017991409666 > <referred by https://twitter.com/WosoManiacsGH > ---------------------------------- Title: No qomens quarter in CAF Congo pulls out and south africa rejects hosting the afircan womens cup of nations. I think this is a good moment to change the competition to champion of CAF in the womens game. I originally commented I say this is an opportunity to redesign womens world cup qual. as well as confed. title journey in #CAf agree? I say change to mirror the conmebol mens system. agree? @NBSports_Live @Ahema6 @JWsports1 @WosoManiacsGH @FisayoDairo @AdwoaLioness @Queenjohn4 @AScavs @SG_Calcio <article https://nbsportslive.com/awcon-2020-no-host-for-awcon-2020-as-congo-pull-out-and-south-africa-say-no-thanks/ > < referral https://twitter.com/NBSports_Live/status/1199392043228893184 > Julia Wanjeri asked me to clarify , and I wrote the following In the beautiful game, flag play has many qualification systems to the world cup of confederation cup play. The cup of nations, the euros, the gold cup, the various world cup qualifiers. Of all the confederation cup tournaments or world cup qualifiers in the men's or women's game, which is the most fair or opportune? It is the conmebol men's world cup qualifiers. Currently, as of this writing, the CAF women's cup of nations has a problem finding a host to the tournament. As I alluded, this is an opportunity to overhaul the world cup qualification format as well as the CAF women's cup of nations format. How? The process I suggest is a repeat for the cup of nations as well as the world cup qualifiers. CAF has five sub confederations. Each sub confederation can become a round robin table like in the men's conmebol world cup qualifier. In two calendar years each table will have a champion, one for the south/east/west/central/north, and the champions will play in a five team round robin with each other, ending in a ranked table. The variance between the cup of nations and the world cup will be that for the cup of nations the team atop the champions table will be champions of CAF. While for the world cup qualifiers, currently the top three teams in the champions table will make it into the world cup. I know FIFA wants to advance the number of teams which may mean CAF may get five slots and possibly more slots in the future. If five slots, then all five champions make it into the world cup. If less than five slots, then the top "number currently three" get in, if more than five then the top slots determine the order of the remainders. So, for example, if the champions table ends, from first to fifth: west/central/south/east/north. Then slots six to ten are the second placed teams from the same sub confederation: 2nd place west/central/south/east/north this adds value to where the teams place. in the championship table in the world cup qualification. Now, what does my proposed system solve? First, it ends the need of a host. In my view, some countries not wanting to host demands a system where no one is asked to host. If hosting the caf women's cup of nations had value throughout CAF then a host would never be in doubt. Second, while more important, my system makes the caf womens cup of nations or world cup qualifiers harder flag team test than anything in the men's or women's game in FIFA. In four years', time each women's flag team in CAF has two long marathons, that will test their players/coaches/fans/organization. The best teams get two long marathons and at least one shorter marathon at most two shorter marathon that will be an undeniable proof that they are worthy champions OR the best preparation to enter the world cup. Third, this will reduce costs for all the lower ranked teams. Lower ranked teams may take many iterations before they ever reach a champions table. Thus, their matches will be regional, no long-distance travel. That saves money. No more worries about complicated traveling arrangements or fees, as every match is in a round robin setting. ... I do not have the power or influence to demand or implement my suggestion instantaneously. But this is a moment for all fans to women's soccer in CAF to consider a new system, one that not only deletes a hindrance no longer, but one that improves the opportunity aside the challenge in the caf region in the women's game beyond all other women's systems in other confederations. 7. UEFA champions league 11-26-2019 #UEFACL Galatasaray vs Club Brugge The goal from KRepin Diatta was the balance of the game. The goal scorer, diatta forgot about his prior yellow card and in taking off his shirt acquired a second yellow. The thoughtlessness from both teams led to their play in this match. P.S.G. vs Real Madrid Karim Benzema goal- PSG defensively are a liability, I said this before and continue to say it, that Tuschel or EMri , structures do not have good defensive posturings and it showed. Real Madrid cut through PSG and psg showed its defensive frailties. MBappe is a very dangerous scorer but he is not a talisman. Yes he runs well up and down the flanks but Mbappe's play is best for the counterattack and Tuschel has PSG playing a faux possession style, where psg do not hold possession but only use it to attack, thus they play an open style that suits real madrid best will neymar come in the second half? https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/Ii5dVbtD7?fid=1034:4443099565366853 Karim Benzema 2- marcelo's cross, magical and benzema's header ultimate https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/Ii5Fltiyn?fid=1034:4443116460047271 Varane Own goal- this mistake put PSG back into the match. Mourinho will focus on exploiting that athleticism but he will also , get them to stop defending like first learners. I notice tottehnahm on defense tend to collapse, notkeep their structure, that will change, Mouirnho will get the players to comprehend defensive spacing better. I think in the end mourinho wanted to be near family, in london. If he goes on to a great era with tottenham then it must be said, that is a great accomplishment, nothing has happened now, but imagine if this match was the beginning of a trophy laden era for tottenham, that will be two london clubs mourinho brought into the tophied land. 14. Richard Murray Thoughts Round 3 AUDIO https://www.kobo.com/us/en/audiobook/richard-murray-thoughts-round-3-1 3 Richard Murray Thoughts Season 2 author Richard Murray narrarator richard murray English unabridged non fiction >sports> general non fiction >sports > football(soccer) biography > sports ----------------------------------- Title: Introduction Good Morning , Good afternoon, or Good evening, wherever you are listening, I am Richard Murray and welcome to this audio edition to my thoughts. Remember, to click the link in the description of this edition to view the transcript, that has links to everything I refer OR to send me a message about a topic you want to hear in the future. ------------------------------------------------------ Title: LEwis Hamilton is a six time Formula 1 racing world champion Will-I-Am, the musiciam, was asked about Lewis Hamilton after he won the f1 world championship for the sixth time and his replies were not only incoherent, they were not inspirational, rushed and lacking the foresight to comprehend the moments when words mean a lot, if they would had asked me, I would had said the following in preparation Begin what I would had said Lewis Hamilton as a racer, as an individual racer, is like all the other great racers before him. He has the ability to race faster than most, a rare gift, but amongst the rarest he has the ability to adjust how he races while being that fast, and that is what makes the legends of racing rarer than their unique counterparts. On merit, one can not judge proust/senna/schumacher/vettel/hamilton based on phenotype or gender or language or geographic forebearance... they can only be judged as humans, with a gift of being able to be fast while in a moving machine, and able to adjust that machine. Unfortunately while fortunately, the human mind does not allow us to ignore difference. In the same way a man can see one woman from one hundred and feel for her a connection bridging time, is the same way a child can look on a wall of champions and feel empty when they can not see someone who looks like them. Lewis Hamilton, like tiger Woods, like the Williams Sisters can not undo the financial inequalities or weaknesses or strengths from one community to another, they can not repair systemic damages in billion dollar sporting industries propped up over centuries. But, they can offer a challenge to someone who does not look like or have the same gender as Schumacher or Niklaus or Mcenroe... said challenge is not to love a sport, a sign to loving a sport is not embedded in participation when a sports culture or rules are biased or not open... said challenge is to accept the bias/restriction/oppositon in the community about a sport whether you participate or not. When Lewis Hamilton or tiger Woods or the WIlliams Sisters win, they challenged and challenge those not white to accept the biases in motorized racing/golf/tennis while participating as they want. Easy to say but not see to do, thus why it took those three for many not white to watch racing or golf or tennis. Cause humans fortunately or unfortunately feel excommunicated when they don't see their own. And the william sisters prove it can bear fruit. When you see Naomi Osaka, you see that some will rise to the challenge. Will some rise to the challenge Lewis Hamilton raises? some already have and more will come. Will it change formula 1 thoroughly? no, thorough change to any large community requires more than one person and requires usually a long time, especially through peaceful means. But it is a beginning of a race, and while lewis hamilton may not make it to an end where motorized racing is participated by all the way soccer is, he can say, he did well to bring fuel to the engine of the car, someone who will reach that end, will use. End what I would had said ... a belief exist, that competition drives people to improve, that belief is designed to ignore environment and focus on the individual. see whether an individual is given every opportunity or none, competition can exploit weakness. The belief has truth but it misses a key point. An individual that improves through competition gardless their challenges does not have to be the best at something. Opportunity provides more stimulus to impovisation than competition. Why? unfair competition blockade opportunity to improve and unfair competition stem from inequal opportunity. Lewis Hamilton/Tiger Woods/The Williams Sisters are examples of individuals who improved over inequal opportunity, but their success does not validate the competitions they are in. It is time for everyone to accept unfairness in sporting opportunity, not to criminalize it or illegalize it but to admit it, and sequentially stop glorifying it as ideal when one overcomes any competitions inequal opportunities. <referral https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IeAvTqlp5?fid=1034:4434768268361449 > -------------------------------------------- Title: Referee quality I Quote Ross Dyer Begin quote This helps prove Martin Atkinson & Anthony Taylor aren’t fit to referee in PL or be VARs: Missed 2 clear EFC penalties (Sanchez trip on Richarlison (did not review) & Alli handball (even with a several-minute review & clear contact above head)). + Missed red card for Sanchez. End quote A referee relegation/promotion is the answer. We relegate teams based on quality, a system to do the same to referees is the key. The problem is, creating and utilizing such a system in large bureaucracies like UEFa or globally known Football associations like the FA or USSoccer come with a complex web of media/legal/bureaucratic challenges that will make anything produced cumbersome or dysfunctional, like video assisted refereeing itself. < referral https://twitter.com/RossDyerTV/status/1191774810189291521> ----------------------------------- Title: Il Drama I learned about the napoli drama first on sportsburst with gabby amado < @gabamado > side Mike fuentes < @mikefountains> The reality is DI Laurentiis as an owner is eccentric on one hand but comprehends media life is a path to money. In the usa, the usa mens national team members in silence or opposition showed a lack of support to usa womens national team members vying for equal pay. Again, as I said in round 2, the issue is the culture from males in various countries or communities that are opposed to women. It is not hard to see. Women or men who support equal pay have to state the condition of men in various countries culturally. IF the men in any country have a large opposition to women, equal pay in general will be opposed, cause men in most countries control the financial winds. <video https://twitter.com/FFA/status/1191855291047899136 > In amendment English women want Equal pay, post Australia... again, Australia has led some to believe, why can't every country, well every country's male populace, is not interested as a community in equal pay. LEt us not kid ourselves when it comes to money, someones gain is always someone elses lose, I do not care what any one say. These two matches may decide long term if the colcheneras can battle against barca femeni My TEAMOL versus Bayern munich is a battle, not as tough as against Wolfsburg but definitely a battle. Some suggest that the english womens league is the best league in U.E.F.A. , that is the silliest thing to me, the best league in UEFA based on champions league results is germany, seconded by france, plain or simple. Like in the mens game, english media hype and the global anglophone seem to control how sport leagues are placed. This tie is the best in the semifinals Wolfsburg got it easy against Glasgow City. I am not suggesting glasgow didn't earn it, but glasgow have no historical precedence to suggest they will defeat wolfsburg over two legs. Arsenal are the historic biggest team from England but PSG is getting stronger and with that french attacking youth , they are very dangerous. One thing that is interesting is the increasing latin power, in the mens game latin europe dominate the champions league , in the womens game, german europe, which includes england dominate, but latin europe is beginning to take over the womens game and will probably not lose hold once it does. < referral https://twitter.com/NBSports_Live/status/1192788939939237888 > ---------------------------------- Title: Another round of US Soccer talk Phil Scheon shared an article from Geoff Cameron, the following is my reply Begin quote Cameron made three point: UsSoccer does not have a competitive culture throughout its structure, the stewards or stalwarts in ussoccer are dysfunctional to improvement, the culture in ussoccer is an unwarranted auto greatness.... While I concur to each point the problem is each point reflect a situation beyond ussoccer. The uncompetitive or patronage culture is not bounded to soccer, it exist in all youth sport, in all professional, professional meaning paid athletics sport. If you play basketball in the streets and never accept a nike camp or agent or college program you can not be a professional athlete. The system of youth development in all sport in the usa is based on patronage. the coach for most well known high school basketball teams is a god, he holds childrens fate in his hands. He is not someone there for the children or layers as cameron suggest. The second part of the uncompetitiveness is beyond soccer while throughout all sport in the usa. The statian franchise model allows any sport club in any league that utilizes it to be safe from its own mismangement. Players when they are at fault are fired or demoted or transfered. Coaches when at fault are fired. But what happens when administration is at fault... the answer is relegation. Relegation isn't about players or coaches, it is a sign to an organizations quality amongst its peers. How can competitive culture grow when the clubs owners or administrators are safe from the penalty to owners or administrators that relegation allow provides. But, how to improve the culture? will require a change in usa sport culture itself, which will take a lot of money, and most absent any fiscal return. The second point I consider from Cameron is the stewards issue. Again, when you look at the sporting landscape in the usa, it is full of stewards or stalwarts rotating positions and safe , no different than bruce arena or others. And, like the stewards and stalwarts, the financial controllers behind every sport support the use of the stewards and stalwarts. It will take new owners purposefully not utilizing stewards and stalwarts to change their use in any sport in the usa, but that goes back to money. The unwarranted autogreatness, which is why ussoccer fans can oppose usa players playing in better leagues is part of a larger cultural issue in the usa. It is the same reason why basketball players in the usa didn't run to china to play in greater number, or baseball players haven't over the years considered japan or mexico better for their careers. The USA internal media always has espoused a usa greatness that is reflected in the dislike of usa athletes playing overseas. How to change that is more than money, a raw cultural viewpoint, that will take alot of money to saturate advertising enough to get any hold. My final point is, as in all these ussoccer report articles, the money needed to amake the changes is never spoken of, and absent the money, the competitiveness/stalwarts/unwarranted pride will remian in ussoccer or any other sport in the usa. End quote What I learned growing up as a kid in new york city, is the money in sport is truly massive and those who control each sport in the usa utilize the same model that brings them great profit but is a rigid lattice to changes if you do not have the money for it. <referral https://www.facebook.com/officialphilschoen/posts/986014368401036?__tn__=-R > <article https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/geoff-cameron-what-must-change-in-u-s-soccer?fbclid=IwAR242SFhZ1EOM3-DQa0mmtixX9SW-QiZOsSYqxaNU8R4ieWncUlvJgKOGOM > ---------------------------------- Title: Good Thoughts Congratulations on Anjor Mary winning NWPL player of the season Congratulations to Rivers Angels for winning the NWPL16Super4 congrats to Sakai Kumagai for her 200th match <referral https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/page/9/?tab=comments#comment-753 > Congratulations to the NAdeshiko win the AFC U19 womens championship also congratulations to Korea DPR and Japan who are into the U20 world cup <referral https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/page/9/?tab=comments#comment-762 > LEwis Hamilton won the mexican grand prix <referral https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/page/9/?tab=comments#comment-747 > And, lewish hamilton won second in the USA grand prix and won his sixth world title, only one behind schumacher Congratulations to Tendai ‘Beast’ Mtawarira for winning the world rugby championship , he hangs up his boots on top of the world < referral https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/page/9/?tab=comments#comment-758 > ----------------------------------- Title: Conclusion Thank you for listening, if you have something you want me to talk about you can message me on my A.A.L.B.C. blog as a guest. 17. weekend 1192019 Chelsea vs Crystal Palace in England Highlights- this proves what I continually said about Chelsea, this is not a team of superstars, but team players, experienced veterans who play for the team and youth players who play for the team, thus best suited for frank lampard. Willian is not a wide player, notice he usually ends up centrally like messi or Neymar... or coutinho. Absent Ngolo Kante, Willian's central game is getting the first time to shine since shaktar. In the end it is wise he stayed at Chelsea.Chelsea the last time they had a squad or moment where meida thought they were useless went on to win the uefa champions league... we shall see https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/Ift87CCzC?fid=1034:4436868297589185 Frank Lampard- Frank lampard was given a gift,a team with solid experienced players/ solid youth players/ no primadonna big names / no expectations. It is the ideal scenario for a young coach. The key for lampard's future is to stay at chelsea as long as possible, his first big test will be the end of the transfer ban. The club will want some big name star, pulisic is a big name for the flag he plays for , not his individual talent. The rest of the team in Chelsea are either well known or rising but none are global brands. Pulisic is a lowest value global brand. So, it will be interesting the name he brings in. https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IftlMwreS?fid=1034:4436876904566396 Real Madrid vs EIbar in Spain Benzema goal- he joins de stefano for goals in Real Madrid white. https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IftUPgCL7?fid=1034:4436898450721474 Bayern Munich BOrussia Dortmund in germany Robert Lewandwoski goal- He ahs been on fire, but the team balance agaginst most recent opposition is lacking. 19. UEFA champions LEague 1162019 #locomotiv #juventus #Atleti #leverkusen #galatasaray #realmadrid Lokomotiv Moscow vs Juventus Aleksei Miranchuk- the crowd is buzzing for lokomotiv. The lokomotiv keepr made a mistake giving juventus a lead, but that spured lokomotiv to take it to juventus. Juventus may be a better attacking side but absent barzagli/chiellini and absent the more defensive set of conte/allegri juventus are open to be scored on. Atalanta in defeats may decide a lot Group D Juventus/Atletico Madrid are through, Lokomotiv and Bayer leverkusen have the europa league to play for, either is worthy Group E Liverpool side Napoli have the advantage but neither can afford to lose another match, if either lose, a potential europa league place can be for them, a key advantage in liverpool is de laurentiis actions are souring the players IF Red Bull Salzburg can win their next two and either liverpool or napoli lose one from the next two, Salzburg is in, Genk is out Group F Barcelona have the advantage, but are not safely into the next uefacl stage, Dortmund did themselves a big favor by defeating inter milan but if inter milan can win their next two matches and dortmund or barcelona lose one from the next two inter milan is in, slavia prague with a draw will stun any from the teams ahead of them GRoup G LEipzig/Lyon/Zenit/Benfica are all in positions two wins in the last two games of the uefa cl will change, it is a battling group and the best to watch going forward Group H Chelsea/Ajax/Valencia are all tied in points, the teams who win the most points from the next two games progresses, Lille as the whipping team has a role to play in suprising a side or being beat on badly, this is the next best group to watch
  20. uefa champions league 1152019 #UEFACL #FCBarcelona #Barca #Slavia #Praha #Chelsea #CFC #Ajax #Weibo #Sina #aalbc Barcelona FC vs Slavia Praha Ansu Fati - Nice pass to Lionel Messi , it was the best chance https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IeSURk8Ke?fid=1034:4435476363301677 Two points, First I saw at least eight times, where runners: Griezzman/Messi/Dembele were missed by midfielders. The midfield of Barcelona did not have the skills or courage to make the passes from willing runners. I know they practice, but the midfield did not seem willing to use the many willing runs Barcelona's forwards provided all game to barcelona midfielders. In reverse, Slavia PRague's movement meant the short passing from barcelona had to be faster to break through the Prague block and Prague on the counter exposed the legged Barcelona squad that either do not track back or can not track back effectively. The scoreline should not confuse the match, it was an even match, as chelsea usually do, but the sharpness of Ajax and the dullness from chelsea is the difference. Circa 69th minute, two players from ajax earned a second yellow, one yellow that went to a penalty, chelsea needed to win this, but emotional drop after VAR deleted azpilicueta took a little wind out of my london blue

A myth that is constantly pushed in homes or media in the anglophone world, a myth that has never been true. Patronage always was and is the way people succeed and patronage always requires a patron, a father, a giver, who gives you the opportunity based on the their desires, not your merit. Vardy always worked hard, but his opportunities came cause others allowed it, it was not straight from his actions. For merit to be the determining factor in sport, you can not have owners in sport... what is the fear in not accepting merit as the primary aspect to opportunity in athletes lives? < referral https://twitter.com/farouq_yahaya/status/1187842481297285121 > ------------------------------------------ Title: Rel/Pro in the USA I paraphrase girdiron player JJ Watt Begin quote The part that really enthralls me about it, is the consequences of what could happen, if you lose you are literally out of the league, it is not like you get the first draft pick and your back you are out of the league and you have to earn your way back in, i felt like that is such an incredible competition, there is nothing else like that in the worlda, and the fans over there are insane and they live and die with their teams End quote JJ Watt was refering to the relegation and promotion common throughout all futebol or soccer outside the united states of america. The key point he made ofr me, is citing the structure ot the competition is harder in itself because of relegation. That is the key that I iwsh more fans of womens soccer comprehended concerning the National womens soccer league or usa based sports in general. The idea in the usa is, since you don't have relegation or promotion , teams should be more invigorated since they suffer no penalty upon failure. But, the reverse happens. All sports leagues in the usa are filled with teams that quit halfway through the season and can ot invigorate cause they are safe. Most in the usa deem the gridiron, played in the NFL , to be the hardest sport, in an athletic sense. sequentially, for a nfl player to openly admit the competitive system in the NFL is not the best or better than one having relegation and promotion need to be heeded more Can womens soccer in the usa utilize relegation and promotion if the male game in the usa does not? < referral https://twitter.com/danielworkman/status/1188153117122150400 > <referred by Steve Graff https://twitter.com/SG_Calcio > ----------------------------- Title: Equal pay I paraphrase what I said to Ellen Busolo Begin paraphrase good point Ellen, but does the male community outside the usa in most other countries allow or support gender equality in pay more or less than the male community in the usa? USWNT do dominate the pro side, but the potency of women outside the usa is not equal in their countries End paraphrase The problem in equal pay as a global movement is the truth in the gender balance in many countries in humanity. To put it bluntly, most countries in humanity don't have a female community that is empowered. In most countries the female contingent is subservient to the male in every sector, thus why womens sport in most countries is not more advanced as it can be. Ellen makes a truthful point, but the path to undoing that point requires each country in humanity to have womens empowerment movements that most have not, and will not have by external coercion. Can sport communities accept geographic inequalities off the pitch must reflect on it? https://twitter.com/Ln_Tee/status/1189179637437472768 ----------------------- Title: NCAA aand the gradual end of the student athlete Gavin MCLeavy reported that the NCAA board has made recommendations to allow across the federation, all athletes have the ability to profit from endorsements, something california imposed on its own. This was my reply to his blog Begin quote To the past, it is extremely unfortunate this took so long, it is not an exaggeration to say that the NCAA model came from the slave plantations economic model in the history of the U.S.A.. Many former student athletes may shed many tears unadvertised or known if this recommendation becomes accepted. To modernity, it is a win for athletes in the major sports to gain financially outside being drafted in, it is bigger for student athletes in sports not as popular as the major ones. Colleges or Universities will each do one from three thing: embrace this by inviting and aiding to manage sponsorships, oppose this by making clauses for their athletes in their contracts, do middle of the ground allowing some athletes the ability to make money while restricting others. To the future, a question of the major leagues structure is key. If Gridiron players in NCAA can make sponsorship money then it bears a question to their athletic role. Some may ask why the NFL/NBA/NHL can't be expanded to include college teams. MLB will have to wonder where does AAA/AA baseball exist with student athlete baseball players able to make money. WOmens Soccer may make the biggest shift as the salary in womens professional soccer is so low, it will make the college players , under scholarship with sponsorship money able to be equivalent in pay at a certain level to professional female soccer players. End Quote I am happy for modern student athletes and athletes in the future, but the NCAA colleges/universities had the last century to make money off of athletes, many who lived or live financially poor. It is a statian story in labor that owners get free labor or unfairly cheap labor for a long time before labor is given anything near proper due. Since the financial abuse to student athletes can not be redeemed, is it possible to make all labors in the sporting world utilize fair wage? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75hnFA8CuF0&feature=player_embedded referral https://mgmathletes.weebly.com/updates/student-athletes-can-start-making-money ----------------------------------------------- Title: Good Thoughts < use womens soccer roundup 3, photos 4 > Congratulations again on North Carolina Courage winningt he NWSL title Happy belated birthday to YOSHIDA Nagisa from INAC Kobe Congratulations to Fran Kirby for at least 100 appearances for CHelsea ladies Congratulation on Chelsea ladies winning the supercup against Fiorentina < referral https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/?do=findComment&comment=745 > Congratulations on Atletico madrid defeating Manchester City women Banyana Banyana, the south african womens team has a new logo, remember to see the transcript to see a link to the image Congratulations to UEFA for forcing the national womens soccer league to increase payment to players < referral https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/page/9/?tab=comments#comment-749 > Congratulations to Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku on becoming the new head of the ghana football association < referral https://aalbc.com/tc/blogs/entry/249-richard-murray-thoughts-version-2/page/9/?tab=comments#comment-747 > ----------------------------------- Title: Conclusion Thank you for listening, if you have something you want me to talk about you can message me on my A.A.L.B.C. blog as a guest. It was well made through a peel off from vasquez, seem like training ground. Atleti had a second half to battle against the soccer gods, this is a must win match. https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IepYCjrJ3?fid=1034:4434364017356814 Diego Costa goal - Var took away, but it was a lovely header https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IeqeDae6e?fid=1034:4434373835962881 Alvaro Morata - Header and no way it is offside, cause the cross from correa was going backwards https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IeqfDuXYZ?fid=1034:4434374742219816 If Atletico won this match, they go top of the table. At halftime simeone took out trippier and put in arias. Diego costa had a goal taken away from offside and his penalty was denied by the Sevilla keeper. That was the basis to the draw. Good match atleti, keep fighting , long season ahead. Chelsea vs Watford in England Kepar save - Chelsea have five straight wins in the EPL, great work for this squad of team players under Lampard. 24. Olympic Team made by Izzy- Izzy made an Brazilian Olympic Team squad. https://twitter.com/IzzyWoso/status/1190705207111487490 I placed the complete comment below I never mind the squad selection but I mind your structure. I watched most of these players. My structure is 3133 Barbara//Rafaella/Erika/Pardal//Formiga//Debinha/Marta/Luana//Tamires/Cristiane/Ludmila First the experienced players: Formiga/Marta/Cristiane all are not wide players or players who can handle wide roles. Is Formiga in shape? yes. Is Marta still dangerous? yes. Is Cristiane a warrior? yes. But, Formiga for PSG plays a deep central midfield role. She is passing forward, and is best suited to add a central strength to the defense when it needs four members not three. Marta is used to the wide role, but Debinha or Luana are younger and in Debinha's case, she is the midfield engine. MArta need to be the xavi while debinha is her iniesta. Luana is in for control, especially against the counter. In attack, Cristiane need width. Ludmila for Atleti does not play in midfield, she also is not a big goal getter, but like a Raul she is one of those shorter fighting forward, willing to make runs, connect the midfield and fight for lost causes. You want that on one side of Cristiane while Tamires can be on the opposite side. I like Izzy's idea of pushing her upward. Like Dani alves or Marcelo , Tamires is one of those brasilian wide backs who can play a wide midfielder or wide attacker. These average positions will do better for all the players. Tamires is willing to track back wide, as is Ludmila, but both are hungry to run forward, and can bring the team up with them and not worry about goals. Marta will be under Cristiane thus in the foil position and in the best place for distance strikes. Debinha in the wide midfield can cut in with her pace and also switch with marta in midfield in the run of play to have a nice craft. Izzy's squad is part youth part experience. But the experience need to be central on Brasil. Yes, MArta can not play the neymar/messi role center midfield but she can conserve her energy in center midfield and let the team develop itself, which need to be the role of the olympics, a place to develop the team, not a standard tournament.
  25. Dijon vs psg 1112019 Mounir Chouiar goal-PSG absent Neymar have serious problems. Mbappe is a goal machine, but absent Neymar the binder, the center of the team is absent and he is needed, but he needs protection, even in this match, the fouls on mbappe are the fouls neymar would had got. PSG are not better absent neymar, moreover, psg absent Neymar are not even close to being a world's best. https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IehyoEtPP?fid=1034:4434040456187262 highlights- This proved what I said prior https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/Iei0ooWdE?fid=1034:4434057724162222
