GOP Candidate Nikki Haley Dodges Civil War

Recommended Posts

During a town hall in New Hampshire yesterday, GOP candidate Nikki Haley failed to admit reason for the US Civil War:

No surprise that Haley gave her answer. She's one of those jellyfish type of people who tries to do and say whatever it takes to please the party.

None of the GOP candidates are serious threats to former POTUS in getting the nomination. Most of them are auditioning for a place in his administration.

Clearly, none of these people (Haley, Ramaswamy or former POTUS) should be anywhere near the White House.

Unfortunately, both sides of the political aisle are putting up trash for candidates. 😎

I didn't even bother to check out Haley's comments because I really don't care what she or those other clowns have to say.
They're liars and hypocrites anyways so most of what you'll get out of them are lies anyway and if one of them DOES flip the script and tell the truth -they don't mean it, lol.

The Civil War actually was only PARTLY because of Slavery.
It was mostly to preserve the Union of the U.S.A.

The South was making so much money with it's Free Labor they felt they could just break away from the North and Western territories and establish their own nation PLUS the South was angry that too many Black folks were escaping to get up North where they could find a LITTLE BIT more peace, so THEY organized themselves declaring "independence" and started war with the North.
And they were winning for the first couple of years!

What turned things around was when Lincoln told the Black folks in the South that he had proclaimed them "free" and they should help fight for their freedom by joining the Union army.
When we joined the Union army and they started training and sending in Black troops THAT'S when the Union started winning and eventually won the war.

The Civil War was all about maintaining the institution of slavery.

Southern white folks were not willing to give up the wealth they built up on the backs of Black folks in the form of forced free labor (slavery).

Northern white folks also benefitted from the products, goods and services their cousins in the south were generating.  But, they knew the brutality of slavery and conditions were all wrong.

The Confederacy wanted to maintain their way of life using slavery.  The Union wanted civility.  That difference led to war. 😎

President Lincoln said if he could preserve the Union AND keep Slavery at the same time.....he would do so.

I'm not a Civil War historian so I'm not 100% sure what all of the factors involved were, but most of those in the North didn't care too much about freeing AfroAmericans.

What I DO know is, they were losing like a mug.....UNTIL the "colored troops" started getting in on the action.

She did answer the question.

Not at all.  She danced around the question like her feet were on fire.

That non-answer she provided was an insult to her father who was a professor at an HBCU (Historically Black College & University) and mother who had a Master's degree in education.

What the heck does answering a question about a war that happened over 160 years ago have to do with running the country???

Courage, honesty and integrity are among valuable traits in a leader.

Its absurd and typical “ rear view mirror” excuses by the black community.

The question was asked by a white man in the lily white state of New Hampshire.  They don't have a Black community.😎

Shouldn't you know something ABOUT the history of the country you're "trying" to run?

She's a tether anyway.....
I'm sure she doesn't give a damn about the Civil OR Revolutionary Wars, if that knowledge doesn't help her further her own personal goals.

Yep.  Both she and Vivek Ramaswamy have something in common.

Interesting that these Indian-Americans choose to side with white supremacy.😎

They were doing it in India helping the British to subjugate their own people.

Even many of the brown skinned ones worship white skin and believe in elevating White people.

Which is one of the reasons so many of them are allowed over here in the first place.

They are TOOLS of the White racists.

This goes back to their history and culture in India where I was discussing in another thread how the White Aryans INVADED the Indus Valley region thousands of years ago killing and enslaving the original Black people of India and driving many of them further south.
To this very day there is a light/white skinned ELITISM that operates through out much of the nation.

We...AfroAmericans...are making a huge change in it because when they come here and see so many of US be successful and boldly and proudly proclaim our Blackness...it forces a lot of them to stand up and be proud also.
Because for centuries many of them were living as "untouchables".

Blacks hate when people of color ( from India) come to this country with little or money but find a way to succeed through hard work and no excuses. It makes blacks look bad and it kills their narratives.

While blacks are complaining, protesting, and  rioting, Indian people are studying, working hard, and leading responsible law abiding lives.

Well first of all, if they had "little or no" money, how the hell did they make it all the way around the globe to the U.S.?
Plane trips cost money.....
SOMEBODY is bringing their asses here...lol.

My question for YOU is, why couldn't they have succeeded in INDIA with hard work and no excuses?
