Addie98Stewart Posted November 12, 2024 Report Posted November 12, 2024 The whole thing feels like a coin toss, depending on the agent you get and their mood that day! I had a similar experience recently with my disposable weed pen. I figured since it was "disposable" it might be fine, but still, I had that tiny 1% of doubt when passing through security. Sure enough, they pulled me aside for extra screening, which was a little nerve-wracking. Same story with vape pens—they’re easy to grab, but when it comes to the airport, even the smallest things like toothpaste or a vape can spark random hassle. 1 1
Pioneer1 Posted November 12, 2024 Author Report Posted November 12, 2024 @frankster Lol... So, are you going to tell us about your Marijuana experiences or not?

Somehow that seems like a different type of error. As aside I often will check a couple of source before I post a response. Since I tend to focus on generalities instead of specifics. For example I had to look up the difference between kind and type. As I was looking for the answer. I came across a list that threw sort into the mix. I am still trying to remember the difference between type and kind. 1

Is this about the difference between out-of-body experiences (OBEs) and consciousness? If so, my daughter and I had a similar conversation. OBEs allow you to travel while still identifying with your current incarnation. On the other hand, intuitive experiences can occur through consciousness via meditation, dreams, or even the use of hallucinogens. Or perhaps I misread it, and it’s none of the above.
Delano Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 In both situations I wasn't aware of what was happening.

The OBE was different than my experience of cosmic consciousness. With cosmic consciousness I couldn't feel my body. I disappeared while awake I felt part of everything. In my mind I thought cool and then I was back in my body. 1

Troy Posted November 21, 2024 Report Posted November 21, 2024 @frankster specifically do you consume sativa? What percentage of HTC is it always through smoking? Hire often do you smoke. There are a class of people I know who smoke everyday, and are seemingly dependent on it. I can’t see where that is a benefit.

It's to the point that I can tell simply by behavioral observation -who smokes weed bought off the streets and who smokes that fake shit they sell in the dispensaries. If it makes you smarter or makes your ideas more clear and focuses you as frankster says it does for him....that's obviously a benefit. However this is NOT the case with most of the people I've seen who smoke it on the regular and they are HIGHLY dependent on it. Almost like Crack.

Maybe you were just embellishing the feeling a bit....but to me when I hear a person say they NEED this or that to relax, that's a red flag that it may be addictive. Like cigarettes, liquor, and other substnaces. If you simply WANT it or ENJOY it...that's one thing. But when you start NEEDING it.....that's another. For the past 10 years or so....since they've legalized it...I've heard so many people say they just GOTTA have a smoke. Can't wait until they get off work or get home from work before they blaze up. Even back in the 90s when "the chronic" was very popular...a lot of people still regulated it to the weekends and didn't say they "needed" it. It was more of a chill or party thing. Now a lot of people say they NEED it just to stay "right".
Croocked T Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 Yeah I’ve had that same feeling when nothing really happened after trying weed, and honestly, it made me more curious than anything. I only ever tried it a few times in my early 20s just to see what the hype was about, but I didn’t get any sort of high or "mind-opening" effect. It was just kind of…meh. I also never liked not feeling completely in control, so it never stuck with me. Everyone always talked about the euphoric effects, but I just ended up with a dry mouth and tired eyes. My older brother had more serious issues with stronger substances though, and that’s honestly what kept me from messing around with anything else. He eventually got support and moved into a recovery program that helped him get clean. He went through one of these residential programs like www.abbeycarefoundation.com and it really reset his life. Without that kind of structure, I don’t think he’d be where he is now.
Pioneer1 Posted May 15 Author Report Posted May 15 Crooked T Apparently a lot of people like that "out of control" feeling but I didn't. I wanted to be in control of myself at all times. Especially when I'm out in public like at a dance or club. I used to say, "What if a fight broke out and I had to slang them thangs?" You can't really fight when you're very high or very drunk. You THINK you can though.....lol. Like that old Richard Pryor joke "We all know that one nigga who gets drunk every weekend and ends up getting his ass beat. He never wins a fight....but he always WANTS to fight!"
