Racism white supremacy doesn't discriminate when it comes to making a profit and winning.

America has always used Black folks for everything from building the country to all forms of entertainment (sports, music, TV, film, etc.).

Otherwise, the BS that comes with racism never ends. It is ongoing when the games are over, curtain drops  and the lights go out.😎

I mentioned earlier on another thread that the original Olympics were started in HONOR of Black "people".

The original Deities of Greek society like Apollo and Athena were physical Black Beings, who helped civilize them and gave them culture and assisted them in other ways.
The honored these Beings by holding events and performing athletic feats.

The Olympics are far removed from the original intent.

Yet, Black folks still seem to dominate certain aspects of the games.

However, it's interesting that Black folks didn't win the Gold medal for break-dancing...some sh8t we invented.🤣😎

I was looking, I thought you or somebody did a thread on them having Break Dancing at the Olympics, but I didn't find it.

That shit was a complete joke.
Especially some White Australian woman they had on there squirming and wallowing all over the floor looking like a fool.

They called it Break Dancing but really it was just floor-work.
Spinning and wiggling.
No foot work or Up Rocking that you have in most complete Breaking moves and sessions.

Like Tariq Nasheed said, they don't have the rhythm or Soul to do those kind of moves, so they stick with the floor-work and it ends up looking like acrobatics.

Like most things the get from us, they steal it and then twist it and contort it to the point you barely recognize what the hell it even is.

Now they're talking about they won't even have Break Dancing at the next Olympics in '28

Absolutely.  There was one routine was so bad -- I me, Troy Johnson, in 2024, could have done a better job.

A COMPLETE joke!

Now there were some amazing moves and tricks performed, but that activity does not belong in the Olympics, I did not know it would not be included in the next Olympics -- good riddance.  There are few more sports that can lose too -- skate boarding and anything sport were men and women are on the same team.

The decathlete used to be touted as the world greatest athlete, but since Jenner started wearing a dress no one talks about that sport any more.

Bring back athletes like Rafer Johnson

I'd be slightly curious to know whose bright idea it was to include break-dancing in the Olympics.

As Troy mentioned above, same goes for other activities they're trying to classify as sports.😎

Well, aren't you a trained Gymnast?
Much of the floor-work in Break Dancing involves what would technically be considered gymnastics and acrobatics.

Not sure who decided that it should be included but as much as I admire Break Dancing......REAL Break Dancing.....it shouldn't have been introduced as a "sport" in the Olympics.

It's a dance...an art.
It should be fun.

Once you start introducing judges and "points" and setting up scripts and standards...especially by White folks and those from outside the culture....it no longer becomes fun and loses some of it's Charisma.

However I would like to see AFROAMERICANS teaching each other this beautiful FBA form of art along with the other elements of Hip-hop in some sort of formalized and codified institution sot hat it can be passed down from generation to generation the way it's SUPPOSED to be and not be distorted or corrupted.

Okay now. All jokes aside, the Australian woman is getting a lot of negativity, but if you saw her initial breaking, it was not all that bad. Her later performance was different.

And, even though no Blacks won, I still believe that it was a positive contribution to those who invented breaking. To see the competitors put in so much effort across the world into this art form, I thought was awesome.

The Black man from France was great, imo.

Y'all spoiled my fun. I was going to post some highlights.

The girl from India and the winner, I thought was great.

I didn't watch the Olympics at all, and MADE A POINT NOT TO WATCH THE BREAK DANCING events.

I knew they weren't going to have any AfroAmericans up there competing...and I know why....because we'd outshine everybody.

They know how beautiful and skilled Break Dancing is and they've been trying to STEAL it every since it came out back in the 80s.
Them putting it in the Olympics was their attempt to "codify" it for themselves and institutionalize it; but they were so terrible and embarrassing with it that they decided to scrap it all together and make other plans.

Pop-locking and Break Dancing are some of the smoothest and most charismatic dances that the FBA culture has produced YET.
We should be codifying it OURSELVES, making it our "national dances" like the Greeks, Mexicans, and other ethnic groups....and passing the moves down from one generation to the next.
