The main issue of this post is not, is not,  to speak on Eric Adams as a mayor, for which his policy history is poor. Not to speak on Eric Adams the law enforcer, who clearly maintains the history of criminal plus illegal acting law enforcers of New York City from New Amsterdam to the future because Eric Adams clearly has accomplices with his financial activity in the NYPD.

 

The main issue of this post is the rhetoric to the remaining Black populace of  NYC. Eric Adams is a black man who constantly told other black people trying to make money illegally or emit their anger physically that they need to get their life together, have mental health issues. 

Well, based on Eric Adams current case, Eric Adams has mental issues, needs to get his life together. 

Black people who are fortunate to have a better financial situation have always angered me when they tell less financially  fortunate black people to get their life together or seek mental help. 

Not every black person who tried to escape the plantations escaped. Most black people ho tried to escape the plantations failed, over 99% failed,. That doesn't mean the 99% of black people who tried to flee plantations need to accept the plantation because they failed or fall in love with the white master to embrace their enslaved situation. 

The next time a black person sells some illegal drugs, or steals from a store, or emits violent aggression at an environment that is against them, please eric adams and all similar black people who exists in the naacp, in the congressional black caucus, amongst the black entertainment millionaires like berry gordy who tricked black musicians out of money, like robert johnson who didn't tell his wife he was selling bet, or in this aalbc online forum, shut  up, shut up, shut up. Stop telling other black people their mental health is poor, or they need to get their life together. If all humans could get away with illegal financial activity no body would be poor, but don't knock others stealing to get by while you are a massive cheater, which many black people with money are in one way or another. Again, to get a full phenotypical spectrum. Steve Job didn't design the apple. Bill Gates didn't design DOS, Musk didn't design the satellites. Living off of others like a leech is a crime, legal but a crime, don't knock others who are being far more financially or emotionally honest, albeit illegal or physical

 

 

Regardless of his rhetoric, Mayor Eric Adams is just another human being with his own flaws.

 

Whenever politicians talk their words should be taken with a grain of skepticism.

 

No surprise that many politicians traffic greed, corruption and other illegal activities

 

I'm not accusing Mayor Adams of anything. But, I wouldn't put it past him either. Politics is filled with dirty pool. I reserve judgment on hisbl indictment. 

 

in the same way that I'm huge proponent of self-defense, I don’t have a problem with folks engaging in *illegal* activities.

 

Pharmaceutical companies are the biggest drug dealers on the planet. The enterprising individual should get a slice of the pie.

 

Bank robbery is fine too as long as no one gets killed or seriously injured.

 

The list of *crimes* can be long. Bottom line is....do whatever it takes to survive without outright killing each other.😎

In America and most countries It is only a crime if you get caught and even then you can be found not guilty if you have money and connections

Unlike the Black mayor of Chicago, Adams was vocal about his anger and disappointment at how the federal government basically is expecting most of New York to foot the bill for all of these illegals that Texas and Florida sent up there, and the so-called Democrat Administration ain't doing a damn thing about it.

That man ain't stupid....he sees what time it is and he called out Biden on it.

So they go after him to punish him.

....you got Black Judges, lawyers, Prosecutors, even Congress people and 2 Black folks on the SCOTUS.
What are they doing to stop so many high profile Black folks from being targeted and locked up?

While they (...and by "they" I mean the White racist power structure) are busy trying to lock up high profile Black Americans on one end, they are bringing in MILLIONS of illegal immigrants to TRY and push Black Americans out of their neighborhoods and jobs on the other end.

Several reasons it's not happening:

 

1) Black folks aren't united enough to ride with him if they were so inclined

2) Mayor Eric Adams is former law enforcement

@ProfD who knows, it isn't over, the reality is, Schrumpf maintains the ronald reagan era of presidential campaigning but schrumpf has opened the door for all to have opportunity in government. Is it likely Adams is gone, yes, the odds are against but it isn't 100%,

Ok, after reading your original post a few times...I have a better understanding of what you're asking.

 

Based on my understanding of what you're asking...I would still say NO.

For 2 basic reasons:

 

1. Adams' criticism of the delinquency and dysfunctionality of Black American culture rings true REGARDLESS of any personal issues he may be dealing with.
Many of our people DO have serious mental and disciplinary problems and DO need help dealing with them.
I don't see how him being targeted and indicted makes this statement of fact somehow "less" true.

2. Most of the so-called "crimes" Adams is accused of committing isn't  "street" crimes or violent crimes.  Crimes that further humiliate and disgrace poor and Black people who are stereotyped as being more predisposed to commit them.

He's accused of high-class so-called "white collar" crimes.
Infact, based on the charges I've heard....most are these "crimes" shouldn't be considered crimes at all because there are really no victims involved and most politicians engage in them.
 

Just because somebody points out the problems in our community and they may sound unflattering....doesn't necessarily mean that they are lies or that they should be dismissed as "self hatred".
 

Minister Farrakhan has criticized the behavior of our community for DECADES and he usually gets applauded for doing so because most people understand that he's coming from a position of SINCERITY and LOVE and points the problems out so that they may be SOLVED.
 

One of the rare times I agree with @Pioneer1 without reservation. 
 

What an interests me is, why is Eric Adams is likely on his way to jail but Clarence Thomas can take far more from people, clearly bribes, to do things like overturn Roe v. Wade but not be sent to jail too?

@Pioneer1 thank you for your reply, no answer is right or wrong, just exist. i am not proselytizing to anything. No I am not a fan of eric adams but I am not opposed to anyone supporting him.

First, I do not care for Clarence thomas or eric adams. So I am not about to say the following as a supporter or detractor to either considering the original content of this post....

Thomas didn't overturn Roe vs Wade, the supreme court did. and roe vs wade was never a law, it was a legal decision made in the supreme court which meant the supreme court could at any moment... overturn it. The month after the decision the supreme court could had overturned roe vs wade, this is why laws are more valuable than court decisions...

To me the governing question of value is why so many people didn't admit why roe vs wade could never be made into a law in the first place then or now.
