US-Ukraine Deal Meeting Falls Apart

Ukrainian President Zelensky was supposed to show up at the White House Oval Office to sign a minerals deal, shake hands and smile for the cameras. Go home to a cease-fire. 

 

Instead, President Zelensky was ambushed by POTUS OJ and his VP. They clearly feel differently about him than the previous administration. Zelensky stood his ground and vowed to keep fighting.

 

Needless to type, President Zelensky was booted out of the Oval Office. No deal. No post-meeting news conference. 

 

Ukraine will have to continue being pummeled by Russia. The winner today was President Vlady Putin.

His army is falling apart along with his economy. Around one million Russian young men have left the country and probably not coming back. I am hearing 200,000 dead out of 500,000 casualties.

 

Putin has done to Russia what Trump is doing too the US. Wrecking the place though Trump is more obviously stupid.

 

I am not sure what Putin wanted. Peace would just give him different problems than war.

While it's true that Vlady is feeding Russian soldiers into a woodchipper, he's still controlling certain portions of Ukraine and they will not be joining NATO.

 

POTUS OJ seems determined to help Russia get out of the conflict with everything it wants.

 

Shortly after any cease-fire deal, I'd imagine POTUS OJ will remove sanctions that will help Vlady rebuild the Russian economy too.

I do not think Ukraine and Europe will allow any DEAL to go through. Trump will just make things worse with Europe, Canada and Mexico.

 

I have been thinking of March 1st as a deadline for the US military to decide on "Domestic Enemy" qualification and strategy.
