Author Tressa Azarel Smallwood, is the CEO of Life Changing Books, which she founded in 2003 with the publication of her book, A Life To Remember.

“Azarel” also cofounded Megamind Media, a film and production company specializing in book-to-film adaptations. Her first project was the film Secrets which as adapted from the novel she published, Secrets of a Housewife, written by J. Tremble. The film debuted on BET in September of 2017.
