Low Female Participation On This Site
Well, I get what you guys are saying. You've made some semi interesting points. I've had my say, and here we are back to square one. Last time I checked, this provocative thread registered 2.2k "click ons", 30 of which were responses from regulars including stream of conscious dialogues between ProfD and Pioneer, showcasing the compelling personalities Pioneer claims should inspire reactions from discriminating women. 🤭 Over a thousand peeks and still no female input from anybody but me. 😬 Curious. Maybe lady lurkers arent actually indifferent. Could it be they're intimidated??? 😲 Does anybody care? Huh? Huh?? 😳 Back to the female-free bull sessions. Next topic: Mixed-race men and the size of their penises. 🙂↕️

Dropping Cell Phones
Has anyone else noticed that a lot of people seem to be dropping their cell phones lately? I don't mean dropping the services....lol; I mean literally DROPPING them on the floor and ground. Atleast twice a day I can count on somebody dropping their cell phone either at work, at a restaurant, on the street, etc.... Maybe it's something I shouldn't pay too much attention to, but the large THUD of a phone dropping on the floor next to you is alarming enough....and if it happens several times a day it should certainly get your attention. But maybe I'm imagining this....lol.

AI....'ish is getting Real
All of this talk about AI in the media and online and even on this site. At my job today we had a company wide meeting where they brought us all in a large auditorium serving us coffee and danishes and shit....before they dropped the news. Essentially they said that the headquarters has decided to invest heavily into AI technology over these next few years and that we should expect several rounds of lay-offs between now and June of next year. They are looking at cutting the force in HALF. And that's just the location where I work. Nation wide they were talking about eliminating over 40% of all physical locations and condensing depending, on how well AI is able to maintain function! Data centers were also brought up after announcing the planned lay-off, I forgot about a lot of the shit they were saying....lol. Man o man...............

A Search Engine You Have to Consider
Kagi is the best search engine I've seen since the early days of Google search--back when Google just returned links to websites most likely to provide the information you were searching for rather than keeping you one the page and serving you advertisements. I'm not being compensated to share this information. I not a fan of promoting, for free, any non-Black-owned profit-driven corporation. I'm spreading the word here because I believe in the spirit of the product. I have little hope that the product will catch on for a variety of reasons--most notably after 100 searches in a month. You have to pay for the service and people don't like paying for anything--even if it is important. The reality is search was never free. "Everyone pays for search. The difference is whether you're paying with your attention, time, and private data - or with your wallet." Kagi: https://kagi.com/ is a search engine that is supported by members, not advertisers. This makes a BIG difference in search results. I don't really use Google Search very much anymore; their search engine results page especially for book related content is just horrendous. Try finding an author's official website. You get a bazillion Amazon links, social media, and walk away thinking that the authors does not have a website. Kagi returns the author's official website right up front! Lately I've been using Bing, because every month or so I get a $10 gift card to Amazon., but you have to run A LOT of queries (and I do). The search results are not great, but they are usually good enough. When searching for video Bing like to embed YouTube video in the search engine results page and serve ads -- which I hate; plus it makes it much harder to find a video on sites like sites like AALBC who have moved away from giving YouTube our video content. At the end of the day Google was screwed up with WWW with their search engine. Companies like Kagi, Duck Duck Go, and others promise to make things better. Of course, if you cannot afford to pay for search, that introduces a new problem but that one is more easily solved than the ones were have to deal with currently.

What would you say is the fundamental basis of reality
I have been working on a project for the last 4 years. Creating a description of time. What I have found is that there is information in time itself. This leads to a few interesting implications. There is a structure to time that can be read . To give information about an event or future development . The future is constrained. Which has implications for free will and prediction . The unconscious can access information encoded in time.

Book Review Consideration — The Rooms We Leave Open by Hughes A. Robinson III
Hello, I would like to submit my debut novel, The Rooms We Leave Open, for AALBC book review consideration. Author: Hughes A. Robinson III Title: The Rooms We Leave Open ISBN-13: 979-8-9960373-0-8 Publication Date: September 14, 2026 Genre: Contemporary Fiction / Family Drama Available Formats: Paperback, hardcover, and ebook Synopsis Bestselling author Micah Freeman has built a career teaching millions of people how to find purpose, but he has spent years avoiding the place—and the relationships—that helped shape him. When Micah returns to his small Virginia hometown for his father’s seventy-fifth birthday, he expects a brief visit. Instead, he becomes drawn into the fight to save a condemned community hall with ties to the town’s civil-rights history. What begins as an effort to preserve a building forces Micah to confront old wounds, complicated family relationships, and the uncomfortable distance between the life he teaches others to live and the one he has chosen for himself. At its heart, The Rooms We Leave Open is a story about family, homecoming, forgiveness, community, legacy, and the courage it takes to stop running long enough to let people love you. I am interested in having The Rooms We Leave Open considered for an AALBC book review. If selected, I would be happy to provide a complimentary review copy in the format preferred by the reviewer. Thank you for your consideration. Hughes A. Robinson III hughesrobinson.com

You know, now that you mention it of all the beefs that took place on a site we’re all started by women. The only person I ever banned was a woman. A woman ran the original moderator of the discussion form away. At this stage, the sample size of regular posters is too small to draw any real conclusions. One could easily say that the discussion forum doesn’t appeal to Black men given the number that participate.

Tradespeople will be building & maintaining the data centers all over the USA too. Valid questions. The same way they figured out Social Security, Medicade/Medicare, Welfare, Disability & Workers CompensationZ etc., they come up with a scale for UBI too. Along with UBI, they might come up with some form of universal healthcare with public clinics in every city. A voucher for hospitalization. Printing money & increasing debt has never been a problem for these jokers.😁😎

@Pioneer1 How does reducing the black population benefit a capiitalistic society? "Haves" need "have-nots" to exploit. And I would not have banned you could I have done so. You overestimate your impact on me. I never considered you anything other than a malicious heckler. Banning you would've been a wimpy thing to do; an overreaction. I don't like running away from my antagonists. I prefer to confront them because I'm actually an argumentive person. I miss Nels, another contententious person I tangled with. And I would'nt have cared if Sarah stayed.

aka Contrarian The same motive behind promoting homosexuality in our community......population control. The more powerful racists promote confusion and discord between Black males and females, the less likely they are to come together and make babies with EACHOTHER. But somebody YOU'D ban if you had the power to do so......lol.

@Pioneer: Well, you're entitled to your point of view. It's not mine. Apparently your black experience differs from mine. The way you describe how women of the past acted is not how I recall it. And using my daughters, grand daughters, great granddaughters and their friends as a frame of reference, my take on the interaction between black males and black females is that, over time, there has been no big change in how they relate to each other. There is a black sisterhood. It has always been us against the world. We're bonded and when push comes to shove, we stick up for and support one another. We're "girlfriends". And when it comes to black men, there has, indeed, always been a little undercurrent of cynicism - but again, as has always been the case, sistas roll their eyes, shrug their shoulders, hope for the best and keep on truckin'. Then as now, white guys are not who black chicks aggressively seek out for mates. Whether with enthusiasm or resignation they stick with their own kind and give as good as they get. As for black dudes, they are still struggling to get ahead in the world, still in need of a supportive mate to prop them up and - still look upon white gurls as special, while never losing their appreciation for a foine sista. As Troy has noted, the vast majority of Blacks, continue to marry and date within their own race. In your tendency to dramatize and exaggerrate things, you portray people in a way that suits your purposes. And as a black man, you really have a bloated sense of entitlement. As for your theory about a behind-the-scenes plot to make black females lose interest in black males, puleeze. Just what is the motive for this attempt? What's the advantage and how does it benefit white movers and shakers?? Lastly, I find your reaction to the Cornell College gang rape case very predictable and amusing as you were revving up your motor, eager to concoct some kind of a racist scenario when ProfD intervened and neutralized you with facts! And just for the record, I never thought of you as someone Troy should ban. Made me no difference whether you stayed or went; no threat, just a somebody I had to put up with.

Do They Really Prefer Bad Boys?
A man has every rights to waste, er, pour his time, energy & resources into convincing an uninterested woman to give him a shot. The Nation of Islam reaches a very small minority of Black men. The military teaches more men than any other gruup besides parents. Parents should have done that well before a male reached manhood. IMO, environment & associations lead people to self-destructive behaviors more than anything else. I know you have your own dictionary &/or defiintion of words. I might grab a copy.🤣 In the meantime, futile & pointless are common words between meaningless & useless whiich makes them synonymous. There's no standard or goal posts to move. Put it all together...a man has to do whatever it takes in order to have his sh8t together & be more attractive to women of interest to him. One size doesn't fit all. That which makes one man attractive may not work for another man. A ugly man might need more money to be attractive to the same women who are attracted to a broke handsome man. A man knowing his strengths & weaknesses will do whatever it takes to have his sh8t together in being more attractive to the women he desires. Again, good luck trying to convince &/or strong-arm women into being interested. It's easier for a man to make himself more attractive & women interested.😎

ProfD White males are being encouraged to consider trade jobs as alternative to college/university & white collar jobs. An electrician can easily make 6 figures & there's no shortage of work to be done. Well the plan is for THEM to be the ones tasked with fixing and maintaining AI robots and computers...lol. I see it at work already where they're hiring White men strictly for AI management. UBI would not be a salary. It would be just enough to take care of basic needs. Of course, that might suffice for people who don't need/want anything extra. I see problems with the practicality of that theory already. First of all what is considered "basic needs"? I think we can both agree that healthcare is a basic need, yet they aren't considering Universal Healthcare...so unless they're going to pay you enough each month to cover your medical expenses....WTF??? Will they be giving EVERYBODY the same amount of money each month or each week, or will it be based on what region you live in and how many dependents you have? See, these are some of the things that make that plan and unfeasible.

Do They Really Prefer Bad Boys?
ProfD Keep forgetting some folks on this forum are literal & absolute.😁 Some folks HAVE to be. If we didn't, nobody would mean what they say or say what they meant. It would all be "abstract" and "poetic" language....lol. "You've been unemployed for 17 years. I thought you said you had a job and were working when you moved in?" "I DO have a job...I'm working on myself trying to improve ME!" I should have written Black men who are uninteresting to a woman/women should ignore her/them & seek those who are interested. That often times doesn't work either. A man who is interested in a woman is interested in her and it usually makes little difference whether SHE is interested in him or not....initially. Most men try to CONVINCE women they like who are NOT interested in them to BE so. Society teaches/conditions people how to make themselves more attractive. That's why people pay attention to their looks, hygiene, grooming, dress, education, employment, status, etc. I don't think this society teaches Black men how to make themselves more attractive. Maybe SOME PEOPLE in this society do....like men on certain websites, but not the society as a whole. A group that I know for sure who DOES focus exclusively on improving Black males overall (not necessarily just to attract the opposite sex) is the Nation of Islam. They teach Black men how to eat, how to bathe, how to dress, and some even teach martial arts and self defense. But for the most part this society...in general...teaches Black men SELF DESTRUCTIVE behavior and that which will generally make them unattractive. Here we go again...meaningless is synonymous with useless in this context. Not here WE go...there YOU go...lol. Those are two different words with two different meanings. frankster....is that you??? Lol....man, what happened to brutha ProfD and how did you manage to hack his account???? Whatever it takesto make the man attractivd to the women he desires. Different strokes. Correct, and I agree. But YOU said a man has to have his shit together to attract a woman. That's not the same as "whatever it takes". You keep changing the standard and moving the goal posts...lol. Good luck with breaking their cultural upbringing & encouraging them to give more Black men a shot. Again, I think that investigation or effort in getting those women to break from their culture would be a waste of time. A man is better off making himself attractive enough to the point that women will want him. Perhaps making it known that Black men are interested in them and letting them know that their racism and disrespect will NOT be tolerated is enough to make MOST of them attracted to us anyway! Most women tend to like and respect men with backbone regardless of race or culture. Letting them get away with it and trying to "move on" and focusing on the handful of women who DO like you doesn't seem to be working out too well.

Universal Basic Income And Capitalism
ProfD Ai & robots don't require health insurance, vacation time, sick days, etc. They can work around the clock. No overtime pay. Neither do these illegal immigrants they're trying to replace American workers with. Americans have not demanded those jobs be brought back to the US. True. Many of them have complained about them leaving....but have essentially accepted that they are gone and have moved on. Actually, many Americans have been indoctrinated into NOT wanting blue collar factory jobs. They have been taught since childhood to seek higher education so that they could get a more glamorous corporate job where they can sit around on a computer all day. Ofcourse most DON'T get these jobs....or can't keep them if they do. So now they don't even have factory jobs to fall back on. The folks in favor of a lower population are ecstatic when millions of people fall off the grid for whatever reason. Correct. Whatever it takes to lessen the load. Right. Several immigrants are willing to work for the salary of one American worker. Business owmers will take it every time. Getting more for less & maximizing profits. Universal Basic Income would throw a monkey-wrench in this. Now people wouldn't have an incentive TO work if they can make the same amount of money doing nothing.

The Cornell University Rape Case
ProfD How were you able to get such detailed information? All I could find out about her was that she was listed as a "Jane Doe"....lol. I didn't find a name, a physical description, nothing. Nothing on the boys/men accused of raping her either.

Cynique Your explanation assumes that women are pretty much a monolith and they ALL think the same way and like the same things, especially as far as men are concerned. Sure there are women who like the mellow non-confrontational types who don't have a strong opinion about anything but I know for a fact that there are women who find men with strong opinion DEVESTATINGLY sexy. Hell, there are women who are attracted to VIOLENT and ABUSIVE men. So certainly a man having his own opinions that may seem a little stern wouldn't be enough to frighten THEM away. Besides that: 1. There are several men on this site to choose from for women to interact with. Not just me. 2. Troy has established are many different FORUMS on this site that people in general who don't like my views or ProfD's views or richardmurray's views can participate in where they could enjoy exchanges with eachother and rarely come across any of us. Troy The simplest explanation is usually the right one. I've been on this site for over a decade and don't recall ANY man making overt sexual gestures towards any female poster, any MAN calling a female poster a bitch, or threatening a female poster. The site not being "female friendly" really means them not being able to totally control it, meaning.....point the finger at those who they don't like and get them blocked or banned. The very thing that a lot of people complain about with social media....lack of freedom of speech and expression and constantly having to watch what you say and what you post....is the very thing that KEEPS them on those platforms. People want to be able to say and post what THEY want to, but if someone post something or have an opinion they don't like or take offense to.....they want to "report" it and get that post taken down or that person blocked. If they feel you won't do that for them...they don't feel "safe" in that environment. I don't think most of you want to accept my original assertion because you believe it's too ridiculous to even consider. ....that Black women and women in general are literally being PROGRAMMED to simply not find Black men attractive. They are being conditioned to at best ignore Black men and find them uninteresting (or "indifferent" as Cynique suggests), and in some cases find Black men down right repulsive. I think this is being done overtly through entertainment and the news media but I also believe it's being done subliminally. Anybody over 60 remembers when you couldn't keep Black women (and even some White women) away from Black men! They used to join Black organizations SPECIFICALLY to be around the men and participate and "see what the bruthaz are up to". They'd be trying to get all up in the barbershops to sit in and listen to men talk. Now.......

Do They Really Prefer Bad Boys?
ProfD Police officers take an oath to protect & serve the citizens of their jurisdiction. Military folks take an oath to defend the US Constitution. Both usually take an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution. Outside of that commonality...different police officers take different oaths depending on who they're working for. But they DO NOT have a duty to serve or protect the public. See the case of Warren vs The District of Columbia Police are there to defend PROPERTY, not people. Nope. Black men should ignore those women if they're uninterested. Whether they should or not, that's hard if not impossible for them to do. Nor should they, as a whole. Men in general....including Black men...were not designed to "ignore" women. Maybe INDIVIDUAL Black men should move on and focus their attention elsewhere, but why should Black men as a whole fall back and let White men have all of the fun and get all of the attention from these other groups? A very small minority of Black men are more interested in weed & alcohol than they are of women of any race. From what I can tell, that minority seems to be growing...lol. A Black man making himself more attractive to women period is a better bet & productive. I agree. I think they need to be taught how to do this, especially at a young age. TAUGHT....not berated or chided or shamed, as is often the case. Logical reasons are meaningless if a man is still unsuccessful getting women. Logic is never meaningless. It may be USELESS in the context of solving a particular problem....but not meaningless. If it were meaningless, it wouldn't be logical...lol. A man has to have his sh8t together in order to be attractive to women. Not necessarily. Bottom line is....a man has to have something women WANT to attract them. He could be a jobless weedhead and STILL attract a lot of women if he has something they want. Wouldn't you agree? Beyond their culture & environment, some of those Indian, Asian & Arab women are attracted to Black men that are on point & have their sh8t together. Being ATTRACTED to us and being WITH us are two different things. I believe most women by nature and to various degrees are ATTRACTED to Black men. But they aren't attracted ENOUGH to break with family and cultural tradition and get WITH Black men sexually.

Review Consideration Request — The Way I See Life by Jason Von Grimes I
Hello AALBC community, My name is Jason Von Grimes I. I am introducing my independently published book, The Way I See Life: Do You See What I See?, and requesting consideration for an AALBC book review. BOOK DETAILS Author: Jason Von Grimes I Title: The Way I See Life: Do You See What I See? ISBN-13: 9798194725878 Publication date: September 9, 2026 Format: Paperback Page count: 414 List price: $17.99 USD Publisher: Independently published Classification: Nonfiction ABOUT THE BOOK The Way I See Life is a collection of personal reflections organized as “Moments in Time.” It explores faith, mindset, integrity, accountability, fatherhood, forgiveness, and how we use the time we are given. Each moment pairs an editorial reflection with a section called “Now, Hear It From Me,” bringing the reader into my direct, first-person voice. The format invites readers to consider both an idea and the lived perspective behind it. My experiences span international athletics, professional football, federal law enforcement, corporate leadership, collegiate coaching, and private consulting. Those different worlds provide the setting for a central question: What do our choices reveal about who we are? The book returns to the 86,400 seconds in a full day—the time we often assume we have, though none of us is promised all of it. Through reflections on control, pressure versus stress, purpose, and legacy, I invite readers to examine how they spend their time and what they leave with others. This is how I see life. My invitation to the reader is simple: Do you see what I see? REVIEW REQUEST I would appreciate consideration for an honest, independent review. I can provide a review copy upon request and will follow your instructions for delivery. @Troy lol.of course you're right. But I couldn't resist finger pointing at our resident conspiracy theorist who is a captive of his tunnel vision. As I previously implied, "indifference" is the true culprit. But I am curious as to whether there is an audience of female lurkers.
