  2. Troy, I'm tired of fooling around with Facebook ads. I'm impressed with what you've created at AALBC. I'm ready to stick my big nose in (you probably can't see that from the newspaper picture). Should I start with buying a profile or buying $100 worth of ad impressions?
  3. @aka Contrarian I have little trust in people with power. AI even less so. I had a different bore in mind. bore 1 of 6 verb (1) ˈbȯr How to pronounce bore (audio) bored; boring Synonyms of borenext transitive verb 1 : to pierce with a turning or twisting movement of a tool bore a wooden post 2 : to make by boring or digging away material bored a tunnel use a drill to bore a hole through the board intransitive verb 1 a : to make a hole by or as if by boring insects that bore into trees b : to sink a mine shaft or well boring for oil 2 : to make one's way steadily especially against resistancee @Troy that's true. I am attracted to a feeling. I'm definitely a dinosore @aka Contrarian I feel closer my your eyes gives vision beyond boundaries. AI is tool take an idea or vision and bring it into"reality" If it feels good keep on keeping on
  4. 250,000 or more people showing up would be a success. I believe a few hundred people stroll through the National Mall every day mainly because it's tourist season. 25,000 people per day from the 5th through 10th of July would be a success since the USA is 250 years old.😎
  5. I think gifted gymnasts are born. I wasn’t a gifted gymnast. I could compete at the college level, but I would never be on the Olympic team. I’ve had a couple of knee surgeries that might be related to the sport, but I don’t know. I consider myself out of shape now, but that’s probably due to my age and being more sedentary than I’ve been in my entire life. Like I said in another post, I’ve spent most of my free time messing around with my website and AI over the past six months. I take walks, But I drink eat too much too. That said I can still do a few handstand push-ups ;-)
  6. @aka Contrarian ...I did drop the ball on those noteworthy events. 😁 Tony Brown was smooth as silk on his Journal show. Mother Khadijah Farrakhan was married to Minister Louis Farrakhan for 72 years. The word is that she was a strong matriarchal figure. Stay busy having fun with AI & being able to travel by simply closing your eyes. That's exactly why you're still here with us.🤗😎
  7. Books buy or about people of African descent, so it is a good fit. You’ve been active here so that gives you a leg up. The only issue is time if you buy a profile I’ll get you up immediately. If you don’t, you’ve been a good egg I’ll probably add your book at some point. Is that the front page of the newspaper, with their face just above the fold. That’s pretty good! You should have no problem getting gigs and selling books at schools in your county and the surrounding ones. But then again, North Carolina is a rough place…
  8. ROTFLMMFBAO! I don’t know why I found that so funny I guess just because it’s so extreme lol coming from a little old lady who just shared so many pictures with her new boo, but still finds the time to lay into @Pioneer1 You didn’t ask me, but I think the former is far more healthier than a latter. I’ve been obsessed with using AI to improve my website for the past six months. I know I need to pull back… but it’s hard right now because I’m accomplishing so much. it’s not all that complicated man most people are pretty superficial, a cute face big titties big ass. You’ll have no problem with attracting a dude. You could be semi retarded and don’t even speak English doesn’t matter. Or you can have a lot of money that pretty much trump‘s everything including looks. Short of that everyone else just settles, People who are really interested in getting to connect with someone on a deeper level independent of wealth or appearance are relatively rare they exist, but they are more anomalous rather than the norm. If people get bored with each other it is because they’re not listening — people are fascinating with interesting stories.
  9. So wait, did you provide a prompt that had you put his hand on his thigh like that @aka Contrarian or did the AI do that on itself? I was at a cookout over the weekend and someone was playing a song that I really liked, and I asked who it was and a guy sitting across from me said it was him that he created the song using an AI! I was like that could be a hit man. Then the Sista next to me was like oh you should hear this song (below) and Sista on the other side also knew the saw and was like yo that Song really touched her. Another AI song! Now I’ve heard many people say that AI music isn’t any good and that they can tell the difference. Well, one thing I know for sure is that I can’t tell the difference and that for a lot of people they could care less. I mean the cheering in the background sounds fake, but this has been fake for the past 50 years or longer. Sure, the music is derivative… Sounds like Beyoncé, but what music isn’t derivative? When AI starts doing something that’s completely novel the money will flow right out of musicians hands into the hands of be already super wealthy. Musicians will be covering AI generated music.
  10. @ ProfD I see where long time black journalist and political pundit Tony Brown died at 93. Also Minister Farrakhan's wife, Kadeja, passed and she was 90. I depend on you to report such noteworthy events because I'm too old and busy with my ego trip to track down the details of other old people who croak. 😜
  11. @richardmurray I think you would be who could best fufill my request to print Frederick Douglass' famous 4th of July speech. I never tire of reading it. Its message is as timely today, as it was when he first delivered it.
  12. PROFD said the following [ https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/12809-usa-250th-birthday-celebration-great-american-state-fair/ ] MY CALENDRIAL REPLY My reply in the original post citation https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/12809-usa-250th-birthday-celebration-great-american-state-fair/#findComment-82221
  13. How many people would need to come to the july 4th celebration for it to be a success in your view? Is the image you shared indicative of the "great american state fair" from 25 June to now., or has it gotten better? What would be a successful time from the fifth of july to july tenth based on population at the events in the district of columbia, in your view?
  14. Last week
  15. Glad the cops caught that perverted peepin tom. I heard that ProfD had to go bail Pioneer out of jail. 🙄
  16. @Troy Kind of curious as to your health from years of gymnastics. Not sure what kind of shape you're in now, but you looked pretty healthy for a 49 year old in that video. Do you have any arthritis or joint problems from all those years of activity? Also, I'm sure much of it was from practice but do you believe you were genetically gifted to be able to perform such feats?
  17. Right. They are not cabinet-level members of the current administration but they put on the cape for it real hard.🤣 Yep. I thought it was an insult for Uncle, er, Dr. Ben Gifted Hands Carson to be HUD Secretary instead of Secretary of Health & Human Services or Surgeon General.😁😎
  18. None of the 4 in that photo above is actually in Trump's Administration. Like you said, Scott Turner....the head of HUD is the only Black person currently in his Administration. Funny how they pick a Black man to oversee how the housing projects and Section 8 programs are ran, lol.
  19. What does Tariq Nasheed constantly say? Shit ain't poppin' unless WE are attending it. FBAs are the ones who make ANY event hype....whether it's a party or a protest. If WE ain't out there, it's a fart in the wind.
  20. Troy isn't the one you should be asking forgiveness from. You SHOULD be asking your daughter for forgiveness, for "indulging" yourself on her bed sheets...lol.
  21. ProfD Correct. I don't drink or smoke or use drugs. I'm not on the main social media platforms either. Well wait a minute, I didn't go THAT far...lol. I figured you didn't have any addictions but for some reason I didn't take you as somebody who didn't even drink, let alone use drugs. I can understand not smoking; it really doesn't do much for a person besides make them more prone to illness. The euphoric effects are practically nil.. However it's interesting 🤔 that you are an agnostic and presumably don't believe in any sort of life after death but still have decided not to engage in alcohol or drugs to "reward" yourself. I don't quite understand the reasoning behind it. But then again, I'm not sure why atheists get married....lol. When it comes to women, "boredom" or "excitement" aren't any of the characteristics I look for in them. I could care less how "boring" she is in behavior or conversation....it means next to nothing. Most men feel the same. However many women are attracted to men who are "interesting" either in behavior or conversation. Sexually attracted. Why the difference? I'm not sure. But what I have noticed over the years is that most women rarely find handsome or "cute" men boring, no matter how dull their personalities are or how stupid they are. I've seen men who were considered physically attractive hold the attention of women with the dumbest most uninformed conversations or no conversation at all. So maybe it's the other way around..... Maybe it's the looks they are interested in, and not the actual conversation or the behavior.....so an ugly man will bore then REGARDLESS, lol.
  22. @Del Well, boredom wears many hats. And, of course, one person's source of boredom can inspire another person's curiosity. What I am becoming more convinced of about Life is that it really is in the eye of the beholder, that reality can be an illusion and vice versa. I'm at the point that when I close my eyes, a whole new world opens up to me... Do you think my current penchant for what AI can create is - healthy?
  23. I am serious about boring. I never bore out of boredom. It seems oxymoronic..
  24. As the United States of America approaches its 250th birthday as a nation, there will be no shortage of events in Washington DC. Unfortunately, the current administration has a way of ruining whatever it touches.🤣 Here is a pic from the grounds of the National Mall this past weekend: The turnout on the 4th of July should be significantly higher as it has been historically. On July 4th, plenty folks show up on the National Mall for the concerts & fireworks display at night. The Great American State Fair is scheduled to run from 25 June - 10 July 2026. I imagine the turnout will be similar to the pic above from 5 July - 10 July. As I mentioned in another thread, maybe the 275th celebration will be less political & more festive.😁😎
  25. Koon & the Gang is hilarious.🤣 Along with the disdain, I always get hearty chuckle out those guys & their inanity when it comes to boot-licking & selling the soap for white supremacy. Whenever I see hear those clowns, the 1st thought that comes to mind paraphrases scripture, Mark 8:36-38..."what profit a man to gain the world & lose his soul".😁 Before anyone's head explodes, yes, the resident agnostic knows the Bible too😉😎
  26. Figured as much. Creative way to use technology especially in reimagining your late husband. Not self-indulgent at all. Have a blast with it.😎
  27. Meet Adam. My creation. My guy. The solution to my boredom, keyed into existence with assistance from an enabler that miraculously transforms descriptions into pictures, personifies fantasies, makes flesh almost palpable - while suggesting, ever so slightly, my late husband in the process. It's all very empowering. And fun. For me. For others, scrolling past is an option. ( Forgive me,Troy, for being self indulgent.) You called? 40-Love.
