Jealousy is not always a bad thing....neither is being insecure Both are means use by your subconscious mind to tell you something is not what it appears to be... How you react or interpret that information is what makes it beneficial or detrimental. Understood... Timidity is being cautious...scared is being extra vigilant So long as neither stops you from taking action to confront and recognize the cause. True....that is his responsibility to protect and secure family It only becomes a problem when it curtails the freedoms and liberties of those who he intends to protect. It is My opinion that one should be able to trust his woman to handle certain situation in a manner that makes you and herself happy True... Hate to me is not an emotion....hate is a sentiment Fear is an emotion that warns of danger real or imagine. Envy is an feeling based in lack I first evaluate her reaction....then i consider whether or not he has overstep That depends on her actions and reactions... Never....or only in physical self defense Was she flirting ? Hard to say without more detail True I do not see them as inherently negatively... And yes it points to what is in the individual... Information is pick up by our Senses.....This info is below the level of Consciousness - subliminal. Subliminal info is raw data.....feelings Depending on current Mind Set...Temperament or Disposition. Feelings become Emotions I disagree First you must define your definition of Jealousy and Insecurity? To me Jealousy is the fearing of losing something. Insecurity means to be in harms way exposed or unprotected. True... Keeping and Protecting his family is his business. He should not worry.. But he must be prepared for betrayal and testing True

It's Actually Helping Them....Let's Stop It Now!
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Some National Guard troops being withdrawn from Chicago and Portland, official says The Trump administration sent the troops to those cities last month, saying they were needed to support domestic immigration enforcement personnel who were being confronted by activists and protesters. However, the troops never joined immigration operations in those cities because of lawsuits challenging their deployment. Some National Guard troops being withdrawn from Chicago and Portland, official says -Yeah right......"lawsuits" stopped him from actually deploying troops to crime ridden areas or helping round up illegal immigrants. Since when did Trump or any other president let "lawsuits" stop them from deploying troops to do whatever they wanted done? They sent in the National Guard to KILL people in the Los Angeles riots. The Army and Marines too. Like we suspected. A fucking dog and pony show. -

Focus on the first 12 minutes of the video.....the rest of the video is just Tariq clowning on the caller...lol. Tariq basically says the same thing I've been saying and stressed with richardmurray a few days ago about Mamdani's being elected as mayor meaning little to nothing to us as AfroAmericans and probably will cause more harm than good for Black New Yorkers. He also touched on how Indians came to Africa and exploited it.

ProfD There is nothing to gain in taking another man's woman. 1. If that was his GOAL....to take "his" woman...then that was the gain in and of itself! 2. As you've so often said before, people don't OWN eachother...so is that really "his" woman; or is she a free woman who can make up her mind as to who she wants to choose and be with moment by moment? A man's energy is better spent increasing his own wealth. In your and my opinion, yes....however people tend to have their own goals. If HIS particular goal isn't to increase wealth but to get THAT woman he's had eyes on since 9th grade....and he finally has an opportunity to snag her, then in HIS mind his energy is best spent chasing after her. It's best to not get involved with a woman who's not truly on the team. No stress. Some men learn that as they get older, some men don't learn it at all. Some men actually like the chase and the psychological games of trying to "win" her over to his team. It is unproductive. People cannot own each other. See....you just backed up what I said earlier about people not owning eachother. However FEAR is a powerful motivator. If you have wealth or women and don't want to lose them....FEAR and the prospect of getting hurt will prevent a lot of men from attempting to take them from you. A man should do whatever it takes to mske himself more attractive. More importantly, he should pursue women who are genuinely interested in him. You'll get no arguments from me on this. However if she's genuinely interested...he shouldn't have to pursue for too long...lol. Men don't have to be jealous or insecure if they are with women who are genuinely attracted to them. Unless another man she's ALSO genuinely attracted to also comes along...lol. Now you got competition. Depending on where one lives, works and plays, they can be around the same people of the opposite sex for many years without getting physical. Ofcourse. But proximity is the biggest factor. Most boys find their girlfriends...not at some public playground...but as school. Most men find their wives...not at a club or bar...but at work. Again, this is why most men from eastern cultures keep their women AWAY from working jobs and at home.

Realistic in my environment. Just like men, women cheat for a number of reasons. Depending on where one lives, works and plays, they can be around the same people of the opposite sex for many years without getting physical. There's several reasons culturally that men and women are kept separate. A man should only get involved with women to the extent that his mental can handle it.

Troy Another reason the Dems will prevail in the midterms... But does it really matter? If both of them are ultimately playing for the same team, what difference does it make to the progress of this society WHO prevails? Republicans get in office and fast forward the agenda....Democrats get in office and slow it down....Republicans get back in again and speed it up...Democrats get back in and slow it down. But it's the SAME agenda going in the SAME direction. Neither party is actually REVERSING it or REPLACING it. When I was kid you could buy all sorts of candy for a penny. They are already penalizing people at McDonalds by making it a policy NOT to deal with pennies anymore. Now they want to "round off" the change they give back, lol. More confusion. Can you buy anything for even a nickel today? Get rid of those too. Who still carries currency anyway? The only time I carry currency is when I play poker and spend the winnings The problem I see with this is its one step closer to going to a cashless society. Next thing you know they'll be getting rid of dollar bills or making it illegal to actually POSSESS one. The way things are headed, be prepared to PAY TAXES on your poker winnings because the only form of payment will be one that leaves a paper/digital trail....lol. ProfD The people who work for government definitely know what it means especially when they're sitting home or going to work and not getting paid. But that's by choice. Not THEIR choice but the choice of those in government who....like I said...TARGET certain programs and sectors to shut down while allowing others to operate. While they were shutting down air traffic controllers....post offices stayed open and the mail continued to get delivered. The average American doesn't have a strong knowledge of US government or Civics. Facts. And they play on....and prey on...that fact. But at some point COMMON SENSE should kick in. Anybody over 30 should be questioning how an actual modern GOVERNMENT could actually "shut down"....like it's a Dairy Queen, lol. Common sense would invoke such questions, instead of just going by what you hear on television or read in some social studies book. Hopefully, the people most adversely affected by the shutdown, losing paychecks, SNAP benefits, rising prices and goofy Republican policies and actions, will remember all of it during the midterms and 2028. That gives Democrats enough time to get their messaging right and field strong candidates, charismatic and capable enough to carry and deliver it As I asked Troy, does it matter? Would it make a difference? Good cop vs Bad cop....both of them are playing for the same team. We had Obama and Biden in the White house.....what difference did either one of those two make in terms of reversing what Bush or Trump did before them?

Troy Jealously and insecurity are human emotions nothing is inherently wrong with them, but like all negative emotions including hate, fear, envy, etc we should try to moderate then. I would argue that although these are STRONG emotions, they aren't necessarily negative emotions. It depends on their origins, context, and how they're used. A man COULD use being jealous or envious of another man to take HIS woman and money....or use those same feelings and the energy they invoke to get an even MORE ATTRACTIVE woman and MORE MONEY than the man he was jealous of. I believe as humans we were given all of our emotions....including jealousy and envy....for a reason. If a brother greets your woman with a smile while you are standing there, do you fly into a rage or are your pleased that she was greeted in a friendly manner? I wouldn't fly into a rage over such a minor act; but depending on WHO that brother is and especially HER REACTION to it....it may be a cause of some concern, lol. If a brother KNOWN to try to snatch up every woman he comes across for the fun of it smiles at my lady a little too long I would notice that and be on alert. And if SHE starts slobbering and acting bashful over his greetings as if she's being tickled by it...that TOO will put me on alert...lol. Do you later give her grief, or slap her around, for encouraging the brother or do you think homie was a friendly guy? I don't slap women around, however as I said....depending on HER REACTION and how often this happens...I would probably consider LEAVING her. I don't like dealing with the stress of wondering whether or not my lady is cheating on me. In this type of society women are too independent and we spend too much time away from eachother for me to keep an eye on her all day....so if I know she's prone to that, I just wouldn't have her as a "main". ....a SIDE DISH maybe....lol....but not my "lady". ProfD As @Troy alluded, those are negative emotions. Usually points to deeper issues within that individual. They may indeed have issues going on in their lives. Yet my question remains...WHAT'S WRONG with them being jealous and insecure that another man may take what they have? Perhaps their insecurities are JUSTIFIED. Perhaps he's deformed, or sexually dysfunctional, or struggles with some sort of addiction and feels that at any time his woman may be unsatisfied with him and may leave him for a "better catch". Wouldn't it MAKE SENSE for him to be insecure and jealous when other men she may like, come around? People don't make the best decisions based on their emotions. While this is true, there is usually a THOUGHT that preceded those emotions....and THAT'S what a person should pay attention to. An emotion is simply a REACTION to a thought. But the thought itself may be justified because it was brought about for a reason. You have a woman who is YOUR woman...but for the past few weeks she has to get up and go downstairs to talk to somebody every other night at 2 and 3 in the morning. She gets off of work at 5 pm and usually comes straight home....but for the past few weeks she's been coming home at 10 and 11pm at night and doesn't even have an excuse for doing so. That's enough to make the AVERAGE man a little "emotional"....lol. You'd be a fool not to suspect SOMETHING strange is going on. Jealousy and insecurity are not traits that enable a man to provide for and protect his woman, children, family, village, etc. I'm not sure about insecurity but I do believe JEALOUSY would definitely enable a man....atleast provide him with the energy and motivation...to protect his woman, children, family, and village. Jealousy is a sign that he really loves or atleast desires the object OF his jealousy and would do almost anything to keep it....including fight and kill for it. Show me a man who never gets jealous over his woman and I'll show you a man who DOESN'T HAVE a woman....or can't keep her long because another man who actually DOES want her will take her away...lol. A man should have the mental and physical abilities to handle his business. No time for jealousy and insecurity. In fact, a strong man (mentally & physically) doesn't have to worry about his woman leaving and/or another man testing him. A strong man can easily find another woman. They are attracted to him. You're speaking in idealistic terms....not necessarily realistic. Besides, most women in this society who cheat...don't seem to choose the mean they cheat with based on their strength. Mental or physical. The fact is, based on my observation....most cheating occurs by simple ACCESS. They more you're around a person of the opposite sex the more likely you are to have sex with them as you get to know them and know more about them. Many Arabs and people in very religious cultures have BEEN known this for centuries....which is why they usually keep men and women who aren't married to eachother SEPARATE. They don't work together or even go to school together. They know things will just "happen" between men and women.

Not One of Us...When Non-Whites Get Reminder
Pioneer1 replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Not only are they.....as Professor Griff would say: PAWNS in the game ...what virtually NONE of these non-Whites understand is that they are caught between two opposing groups of White folks with conflicting ideas and agendas. The wealthy elite Whites brought them into America for cheap labor and to act as buffers between them and AfroAmericans. That's who sponsor them and that's who support them. The poor and working class Whites feel they are taking their jobs, ruining America with their foreign cultural habits, and generally hate them and want them gone. This confuses the shit out of most of these non-Whites because they feel that White folks love them one minute and hate them the next....lol. -
What A Minute: Can Yall Figure This One Out?
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Troy Because we are not animals Oh??? Some of us aren't? and many of us have some modicum of self-control. It seems your expectations of humans is pretty low. Depending on the human, when it comes to sex....yes. Infact, depending on SOME of the dudes I've seen...my expectations of them are actually pretty HIGH. I EXPECT for them to try to screw any woman they can have 5 minutes alone with, including female relatives. If I go to a family reunion and see some of the characters I know leave without hitting on ALL of the females he comes across there...although I think it's a GOOD thing, I'm still a bit disappointed that he didn't do exactly as I expected of him. Virtually all the women I interact with are classy enough not to raise me suspicion of sleeping with my son -- especially if I'm dating them. I don't have a son, but I would hope they would also respect the code implicitly. In today's society, especially in our community for those born after 1970...there IS no "code" of ethics or conduct that most of us honor outside of the code of basic humanity that is given to us through human instinct. I'm in my 50s and most of the women I kick it with are over 40. If I bring them around my family (I generally don't hang around 20 and 30 year olds so the only time I really interact with them is at work or at family get-togethers) the young men usually find them attractive and I see them giving them the "eye". Besides most women just naturally not finding younger men attractive (..though some do) what really keeps them in check is knowing ME and how I am and how protective and territorial I am. But the women I kick it with AND the men of my family know this about me, so they don't try anything while I'm present and evidently don't try anything behind my back either....lol But FEAR is the "code" they respect. Not some arbitrary ethical code regulating who they bang or refrain from. Now you raise an issue with "class." Clearly everyone in this story were of a lower class. Perhaps in these social circles one need to worry about children hooking up with stepparents. I call this "ghetto mentality." Ok. But they are still part of society.....a huge part of society. We're talking about humanity, not simply "upper class" humanity....so my points should be considered valid. That you @Pioneer1 you might be watching too much step-mom porn No need to. I saw and in a few cases EXPERIENCED so much MILF as a younger man, porn of THAT scenario just doesn't do it for me....lol. You have to feel for boys who find out that the ONLY reason they have any "friends" who hang around them is because their step-mothers and REAL mothers are freaks...lol. ProfD How do you define intelligence? The ability to learn, understand, and retain knowledge. How does one gain wisdom? There are multiple ways, but since YOU don't believe in the supernatural I will say: Wisdom is gained through the proper understanding of knowledge through observation and experience. A whole lot of women are classy. Just a matter of being in the *right* environment. You're right to say it depends on the environment because "a whole lot" is a very subjective figure....lol. But what I really meant by that question was WHAT PERCENTAGE of women in today's society would actually be considered "classy". And then ofcourse, we'd have to define "classy". Right. Trailer park mentality would be the white version of it. Yes, but as I said to Troy....that's increasingly COMMON today. Which makes my point valid. Just because something is vulgar or uncouth...doesn't render it invalid or mean it's not common. A LARGE percentage of women have little to no class today. They don't even know how to SIT in a chair when they're wearing a dress...lol. -
https://newrepublic.com/post/201664/vivek-ramaswamy-turning-point-racism-ohio This is the kind of wake-up call that let's non-white folks who believe they have been accepted by white folks realize there is a ceiling. Vivek Ramaswamy is running for governor of Ohio. The people in his own political party have let him know for the 2nd time after his failed POTUS bid that they aren't down with having an Indian in charge of their state or country. Many Indians, Hispanics and Asians believe they are either white or white-adjacent and have been accepted by white folks. If they don't play the game correctly, white folks will let Brown and Yellow folks know they're not really white. Ramaswamy is Harvard educated and rich. Not only does he believe he's been accepted by white folks but also thinks being wealthy makes him elite too. He talks in a condescending manner as if he's the smartest person in the building. Average white folks will let Ramaswamy know he's not above nor is he one of them. Another case of FAFO...f8ck around and find out.

Ownership means content control. We don't have to use it negatively. The face of BET ownership was a black man but the investors behind the scenes were not Black. Once BET was sold to Viacom, content programming went off the rails. They served up a whole bunch of mental junk food. McDonald's for the brain. Look no further than the sh8t owned by Oprah and Tyler Fairy, er, Perry. Straight garbage. White folks aren't in the same predicament. Regardless of which way the political winds blow, white folks are comfortable being [insert class here] because as long as they're white...they believe they're better than non-white folks and therefore can't *lose*. OTOH, Black folks regardless of class can be marginalized or wiped out completely. Other non-white folks are fine with white folks controlling power and money. Those people try to blend in and stay low. Some non-whites consider themselves white or white-adjacent. They are just as anti-Black as white folks too.

That gives Democrats enough time to get their messaging right and field strong candidates, charismatic and capable enough to carry and deliver it.
-
That is certainty a factor give the midterms are a full year away. But that is also ample time for the current administration to create more havoc. Eyes will be in NYC too.
-
The reason that technology reaches people quickly (goes viral) is that it is designed to do just that. I argue that content used to do that does not serve us. If you do not use the technology the way they do no one besides you and me will use it. Think BET. It is not just us man. Most of the country is in this predicament. Of course, when American catches a cold... always applies.
-
The people who work for government definitely know what it means especially when they're sitting home or going to work and not getting paid. The average American doesn't have a strong knowledge of US government or Civics. It's supposed to provide checks and balances and prevent fraud, waste and abuse. No shortage of books on the subject. Hopefully, the people most adversely affected by the shutdown, losing paychecks, SNAP benefits, rising prices and goofy Republican policies and actions, will remember all of it during the midterms and 2028. Even without offering any policies or solutions, Democrats should be able to sweep the House, Senate and national elections if people are truly bent outta shape. I'm willing to bet short attention spans and entrenched racism will make those same Republican voters and non-voters alike stay the course.

I watched this TV series called The OA on Netfix it dealt with the subject of traveling through different dimensions. It held my attention but I would not string recommend it unless this subject really appeals to you. I see a fetus.

Black folks need to own whatever forms of technology that reaches the most people quickly. Black folks don't have to use technology in the negative ways that greedy people do. we definitely need it. White folks control power, money and technology. Black folks are dependent and defenseless. Not a great position.
-

Right, I actively avoid consuming content on social for reasons I can go on with all day long. So it does not matter to me who owns it as I don't use it. If Black folks owned it, and it operated the same way, I still would not use it. The move for Black people is not to embrace the same f'ed systems greedy white boys use to exploit the populace (winking at Richard). We desperately need to do things that will serve us. This is true to the nation in general.
-
The democrats will, I believe, make gains in the midterms. I'm glad the government shut down ended. The only people being hurt were the poor. I don't hold this against the democrats either. MANY people lost a month and half of pay and will not get it back. If you've never lived paycheck-to-paycheck or were so food insecure you needed food stamps, you simply can or don't want to relate. As far as the republicans using the shut down as a tactic, DHTPHTG. Another reason the Dems will prevail in the midterms...
