  1. Past hour
  2. Man yall got a FINE ass Mayor........lol. On a scale of 1-10....she's a certified 10.75.
  3. "We're going to make America great again! We're going to send federal officers around America to round up the illegal immigrants! We're going to send in the actual military itself to major cities around this nation to round up Black criminals and lock them up and out of our society! That'll make these liberals and these blue city mayors squirm and cry....but we don't care!" After sending them in................ "Uh....wait a minute. You mean Black resident were actually HAPPY to see a reduction in crime and violence? We were hoping for riots and rebellions against this....not "thank you" notes and fucking love letters. STOP THE OPERATIONS! STOP THEM NOW! STOP THE ICE RAIDS AND PULL THE TROOPS OUT OF THE CITIES! And guys.... The next time we come up with plans to institute draconian laws and policies to oppress people....make sure they don't fucking BENEFIT them at the same time....jeez!"
  4. Today
  5. You keep changing the goal post......Abram Gannibal was not born there either I do It is not the amount of people that know of you that makes you a historical Figure.....that makes you Popular To me what makes anyone a historical figure is their contribution to either society or humanity Most of Our black Heroes was never given any recognition till after the success of the Civil Rights movement.... To get a street named after any one all you have to do is Petition your local City Council Councilman Commissioner or Alderman....the individual do not have to have done anything significant - all you need is enough Community/Ward signatories. At Prince Hall Lodges he is Remembered and Honored.....One of our many unsung heroes When does the 1900's beging ? And when does the 20 century begin? Please check their years of work and life.
  6. Trump is going to STAY THE COURSE. He's going to do the same thing Biden was doing....which was the same thing Obama was doing...which was the same thing Bush and Clinton were doing. Push the Globalist Agenda. They aren't going to bring in immigrants to "train" American workers, they're bringing them in to REPLACE American workers. Which is why now there's talk of pulling ICE out f the cities to snatch up immigrants Just like there's talk of pulling the National Guard out of the cities to fight crime and violence. I even read an article earlier today where some "judge" is ordering hundreds of immigrants that ICE actually rounded up and detained NOW must be let go and released back into the public! Sure is funny how Trump can do whatever he wants to do without opposition but when it comes to doing something that looks like it may be having any type of POSITIVE impact....all of a sudden some "federal judge" out of nowhere and steps in. When Biden sent all of those feds on horseback down to the border with actual whips to drive Haitian immigrants back across to Mexico...funny how no "federal judges" stepped in to stop that.
  7. First of all, the fact that a national government can actually "shut down" or "close down" should make people suspicious that this is all just one big game. The United States government isn't a McDonalds or Jiffy Car Wash franchise designed to lock it's doors and "close down". It's a GOVERMENT which means it operates 24/7 365. That's like you telling your children the home is "shutting down" and you refuse to feed them. It makes no sense. You're just refusing to feed them because you're REFUSING TO FEED THEM. You don't read anything about a "government shut down" in the U.S. Constitution. Because it didn't exist. Any services that were stopped were INTENTIONALLY STOPPED with the desired effect of causing chaos. The police were still arresting people. The prisoners in Federal prisons were still kept. The payments of foreign aid continued to get issued out to other countries. So what's with air traffic controllers not being paid and there not being enough money for food stamps? It's all MADE UP. They didn't "run out" of funds, they arbitrarily DENIED payments to these people for a desired effect and used Congressional disagreement as an EXCUSE. I personally think they designed this situation to cause chaos and instability in society. Kind of like how traffic lights and street lights will go out in an entire half of a major city and they'll blame it on a "solar flare". Like you said and like we discussed in another thread, Democrats are just CONTROLLED opposition. They're working right along with Republicans to get the same Agenda pushed and passed but just PRETENDING to oppose it and PRETENDING to put up a little resistance so that their supporters will continue to have a little more faith in them and not replace them with REAL opposition.
  8. ProfD The unalived dude clearly didn't think his wife would turn around and marry his son. I'm not sure why he wouldn't. She was an attractive woman and his son wasn't gay, so why WOULDN'T the idea that a sexual relationship between them cross his mind? Most men do not think the woman they are taking care of and/or married to will hook up with their offspring regardless of age. Most fools or stupid men wouldn't...no. However I think most men with good sense SUBCONSCIOUSLY suspect this, which is why they usually are hostile to other adult men living in the same household as them; even their own sons. Most men will tolerate a house full of women. Their daughters can live with them for as long as they need or want. They can even leave home, get married, and then turn around and come running back if they have trouble with their husbands. They will always be "daddy's little girl". Men on the other hand..... Mamma will always love them and take them back in, but if DADDY is in the house...they think twice about coming back because pops isn't as welcoming. " He wanna come back??? For what? Where is the nigga gonna stay, in the backyard? We done rented out his room.....shit!" ....lol. Family or not, most men with good sense know that if other straight MAN is living with them, there's a possibility of them boning their woman.
  9. After 43 days of hand-wringing, Democrats caved in on a piece of legislation that reopens the government. SNAP benefits restored. Air traffic controllers and other folks will get paid. Surely, the Democrats got something in return...yeah no. Adding insult to injury, the Democrats are crashing out against each and pointing fingers at who's responsible for this cluster f8ck. Right now, I do not see how Democrats plan to reclaim the House and Senate and White House any time within the next several years. The Democratic party is still weak, spineless and rudder-less. They need a makeover and agenda to overtake the ruthless Republicans.
  10. POTUS OJ insulted all Americans when he said they were not talented enough to do future jobs. They're gonna bring in chosen immigrants to train American workers. Maybe he's on to something...especially if those same dumbazz Americans voted for him.
  11. The unalived dude clearly didn't think his wife would turn around and marry his son. Most men do not think the woman they are taking care of and/or married to will hook up with their offspring regardless of age.
  12. But what was the father even THINKING? Why would you bringing a woman that young and attractive (and one doesn't necessarily equate to the other because I've seen a lot of beautiful old women and ugly young women) around your grown ass children and NOT expect something to happen between them?
  13. So now all of a sudden the United States NEEDS immigrants? Left Wing Right Wing Two different wings.....on the same damn bird.
  14. The accused, a porn star, married, a man who already had children, one of whom she ultimately started banging and eventually married. Making that man both her stepson and husband. At some point, she apparently cut off the first dude’s head. Well, it makes for a funky looking family trees, People get into relationships with their stepchildren all the time. The missing head is immediately unusual, but probably not a first.
  15. Economic Corner 27 The New York City businessman in SChrumpft The office of the president has a statistical arm whose sole purpose is to keep the president , whomever it is, informed on the numbers. Now I have always said Schrumpft isn't elephant or donkey and this interview is the proof. He is an independent. Financially, if Schrumpft is independent than both parties have misplayed him. The elephants have been waiting on him to fall on his face, but his original premise that he had in the elephant primary still holds true. In said primary he said, everyone else is a liar and he will shake things up. He never promised to bring back the agrarian society or make job markets of gold. The donkeys have been waiting on him to fold, but they keep miscalculating they are the more engaged party when it comes to overall voting or multiracial participation so waiting for schrumpft to flinch or fall exposes the weakness in the donkeys collective which is its huge size. ala https://aalbc.com/tc/events/event/584-the-shutdown-ends-potentially/ . Schrumpft has in his blurting way exposed problems in the USA that go to not only its heritage but how its heritage is perceived, by most. Points Party of Governance He used the phrase "The Republicans" so Schrumpft didn't place himself with the republicans. The Elephants Schrumpft is correct, the Elephants have become like the Black One Percent or the Black Self Haters and only have quality complaining about others but never themselves. Ala why Schrumpft is the only elected official in my lifetime I ever heard say the following truth: Black Elected Leaders failed the Black populace in the USA. Schrumpft was 100% correct, I said it countless times. Black elected officials are full of shit. What Schrumpft didn't say is the problem in the Black populace is, the solution requires Black people to pull away. Some suggest black elected officials need to be taken to task but the usa system has never had any elected official be controlled by a voting mass, that is a USA myth. The problem is the approach Black people in the USA had since 1865 to the USA or the Non Blacks in it is dysfunctional Labor Quality He said, "You don't" concerning having talented people, he didn't say we but said you. As a black person who has heard or read many black person chagrin black people's education which I have always contested, because education doesn't equal influence or power, Schrumpft just outed the educational quality of the white populace in the usa. Being comfortable living about others, not liking others, living about others. Schrumpft is no fan of non whites but he was raised in New York City and like anyone who was raised in NYC, your relationship to integration is more complex than those raised outside NYC in the USA. Georgia made six hundred Koreans seem like a takeover and Schrumpft thought and thinks that is silly. NYC has over a million Asians and is still dominated by white Europeans. Why couldn't the white populace in the state of Georgia handle six hundred Koreans. best fiscal point Schrumpft suggest people have been waiting on unemployment lines for five years. Five years. The private sector in the USA is worthless. The private sector can talk about what it needs but when people have been on an unemployment line looking for paid labor and the firms of the usa can't provide anything, I think the private sector has to be looked at. I told people Schrumpft is not crazy... greedy, crude, full of biases, liar, wild gambler, uncaring risk taker, mob starter ... yeah to all of those, but crazy, no, Craziness is a rarer commodity than most humans thinks, disagreement/Discordia is not craziness. The Incorrect Transcript There is never going to be a country like what we have right now. The republicans have to talk about it Laura. Does that mean the h-1b visa thing will not be a big priority for your administration? If you want to raise wages for American workers , you can't flood the country with tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of foreign workers I agree but we also have to bring in talent we have plenty of talented people no you don't, no you don't we don't have talented people here No, you don't have certain talents and people have to learn, you can't take people off an employment line and say, I am going to put you into a factory and we're gonna make missiles. Why didn't we ever do it before? When you and I were growing up. Let me give you an example. In Georgia, they waited cause they wanted illegal immigrants out. They had people from south korea that made batteries all their lives. Making batteries isn't an easy thing, it is very complicated, it is very dangerous, alot of explosions , alot of problems. They had like 500 600 people, early stages. To make batteries and teach people how to do it. Well, they wanted them to get out of the country. You are going to need that Laura. I know you and I disagree on this. You can't just say a country is coming in and is going to invest ten billion dollars to build a plant and take people off an unemployment line who haven't worked in five years , and then they are going to start making missiles. It doesn't work that way SOURCES https://x.com/AFpost/status/1988416554984497358 https://x.com/Acyn/status/1988407251078680651 Prior Edition https://aalbc.com/tc/events/event/583-economic-corner-26/
  16. Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970) https://youtu.be/GxlrRyUDXxY?si=ZAwP2qBUWZLWmBMA my thoughts 6:37 right, hope and hustle are together especially as black people were never supported. before 1865 we were over 90% enslaved to other human beings. Then after 1865 we were never given focused assistance from the government. Black people post 1865 have never been given any assistance beyond what can be obtained as a citizen of the USA. so this created the hope/hustle balance. 9:16 Interesting that heat of the night was three years earlier. 10:03 The problem with merit in the united states of America is that merit has never been the basis of worth. The NYPD wasn't started by citizens trying to get rid of criminal activity in their community. The NYPD was started by Boss Tweed for the purpose of gaining votes + an allegiant arm of New York City government. He achieved it by giving the Irish gangs badges. We Blacks talk about merit a lot, as if we don't live in the USA or know the USA. And I comprehend the country you are fighting to make happen argument. The USA has a system that allows for systemic change over time and from 1776 to 2025 the USA has changed in various ways. But, Ossie Davis is making the old argument that Black people should approach the USA as the country they want it to be, and I argue, that has cost black people. 10:57 Yes, the 1970s was the end of what I call the enslavement era. The 1980s was the beginning of what I call the integration era, and cotton is the symbol of that. 12:37 The proof in my historical measure is the role of women who needed the 1980s to have the ability to truly financially standalone. 14:36 I think both. She had to do both, fight to gain something for herself, autonomy, while also be attache to this guy, through the system she lives in. O'Malley can't hate the player, has to embrae the game. This is the reality of women at that time. Remember Ruby Dee is Ossie Davis's wife and I think Ruby Dee would make Ossie Davis have an idea of how a woman living with a man thinks of some things. 15:03 love Purlie Victorious and you mentioned it. I saw the play with Leslie Odom. Ossie Davis did write the play. Didn't know about the film, gone are the days. Ossie Davis eulogy concerning Malcolm. 16:23 Didn't know it was in the 30s in the original text. That is interesting plus valid, wise by Davis. 17:17 Cotton comes to Harlem isn't relevant to Harlem but is relevant to the Black experience still. Because the core issue is getting to a functional multiphenotypical community. It is one thing to have a city of people who look every which way, it is another for all of those peoples to not only have individual allowance but also have growth within their communities. NYC's problem in the 1930s/1970s/today is the ability of individuals to grow has strengthened, the black populace in NYC has more wealthy individuals in it than ever before, more black owned businesses than ever before. BUT, the black community is arguably weaker than ever before. Weaker in that the mechanics of collective power are farther away. And so black individuals still have to go through hurdles with the non black every which way and the black community has to deal with constant attacks from the agenda of the non black. 17:21 Blaxploitation was simultaneously with the mob movie that had complaints from many Italians and yet, the godfather and et cetera are some of the best films. Italians never said their community had problems even though the movies involving characterizations of the Italian mob [godfather/scarface/] showed a cruel violent crime culture. 20:18 I can't think of a film with a black cop taking charge outside an Oscar Micheaux film , but I can't think of the scene directly. But I know in one of his, a black cop is helping a black woman do something. 22:00 Blaxploitation's influence is huge in soundtracks. Hollywood had the musicals but from 1970s onward the placement and use of Black music in films/television/commercials has been on a constant rise. And every decade you see jester films of Black people whether produced or written by black people or not. My Comment Was O’Malley exposing the system — or just gaming it? hope and hustle, I think are inevitably intertwined when one seeks growth noncriminally against a group that historically or modernly uses criminal activity whether legal or not for their own agenda. Merit, at the end of the day, many black people physically live in the current usa but philosophically live in the usa they want to be tomorrow. women's empowerment, I think most female characters in fiction are both, trying to empower self while also living in a man's world. Women today in the USA are unlike any women in recent history anywhere when it comes to individual rights/protections/abilities Ossie Davis did write the play, Purlie Victorious Cotton comes to Harlem is relevant in that minority populaces will always have in any fiscal capitalistic setting those among them looking to make money regardless of the detriment to said minority populace. Minority populaces will always have in any bureaucratic environment made by a majority those among them trying to be bridges into the bureaucracy. Blaxploitation - eddie murphy once said no one wants to see that today, but i argue whenever films have one of the two following elements: the joyous black jester-formerly jim crow(norbit/dont drink juice in south central/baps) , or the black communal plight films(juice/do the right thing/boyz in the hood) these are no different than most of the films of the 1970s involving black thespians that were mortly,written/directed/produced by whites commonly called blaxploitation Black Cops in film, i can only think of a black cop in an oscar micheaux film. i think he was a ranger or mountie or a role in that field, but your right it was uncommon. I wonder how many black people wanted to be cops through these films. To O'Malley, he cheated the village but overall, it is both, let's be blunt, the usa wasn't born by legal fiscal operation and great ledgerwork. The usa was born from thieves/killers/cheaters not really hustlers but people far far worse. To my knowledge omalley killed no one, in the very city harlem sits in, rockefeller who is known to have killed white oilmen has a whole center to his name. Carnegie who is known to have stolen land and murdered competition has various buildings with this name and an endowment with it. The roosevelts is the name of an old dutch family when new york was enw amsterdam who was part of a land owning caste upstate new york , that had a sharecropping system for white farmrs for the purpose of keeping them as lifelong tenants. If white people who murdered entire indigenous peoples and enslaved as many as possible have their names lauded why is OMalley a great sinner, for his wee hustle. comment referral https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxlrRyUDXxY&lc=UgzkjnVo7IPWs1g6xyh4AaABAg
  17. Yesterday
  18. Black folks are slowly beginning to realize the Democratic party uses their votes to win elections. Democrats have never intended to push any policies that benefit Black folks. Their main purpose is controlled opposition to the Republicans.
  19. Becoming a Russian citizen and being born there are different. How many people know that? My definition of historical significance is having enough of an impact on society and/or the culture where streets, buildings and institutions are named after them. Both dudes mentioned were produced in the 20th century with the aforementioned acknowledgements. Again, I cannot think of any Black Russians from 1900-present as distinguished.
  20. Yes....does that mean he cannot become a Russian? Yes....that is noteworthy What made him a Moteworthy historical figure is that he was also the Second Grand Master of Prince Hall Grand Lodge If he is not a historical figure....then please define what to you makes somebody a historical Figure? To me that like saying Adam Clayton Powell or Obama are not historical figures Never said that was the case nor was that my contention I was responding to the quote below:- So I mention all the Saints of Christendom whose Black African iconography has been in Russia for years And just in case you said they were not Russian I threw in the Abkhazians.. The first Time I heard this theory of Containment......it was an Ice Wall caused by the Younger Dryas The Watchers.....I do not think they are Earthlings - though they may be humanoid. Nor do I think white people were driven there.....Rather it is were Black people became White skinned
  21. ProfD And remember, the word "failure" implies that a person actually TRIED to do something...lol. He TRIED to "do this" or "get that" but he FAILED to do so. But if a nigga ain't even TRYING.......damn. Ain't even TRYING to start his own business. Ain't even TRYING to grow his own food. Ain't even TRYING to save enough wealth to leave to his children. Ain't even TRYING to keep the property and wealth his parents left for him.
  22. ProfD I don't understand the thinking of some of these people who wanted this, especially after the announcing the departure of the troops. You and I both know it was a stunt, but it was initially done with so much hype that it looked sincere. They even claimed there was a reduction in crime! Again, I knew it was a stunt but I actually thought Trump would send far more troops into these cities to atleast make it LOOK like he was trying to make them safe. I thought they were going to send in troops to assist with the local police in places like D.C. and Chicago and other cities for YEARS....not a few fucking weeks, lol. Forgive me for sounding disappointed, but although I was against him sending in the military to use against it's own citizens....if anything good could come out of this ATLEAST it would lead to a reduction in crime and violence. But damn..... Just send a bunch of guys in fatigues to just march around the city for a few weeks then LEAVE, only for the gangsters and killers to go right back to business as usual???
  23. They did their job for hundreds of years, but you know how our people are......too much infighting among themselves. Just like the Black people who took over southern Europe and ruled for hundreds of years but because of internal fighting became weaker and this allowed Whites to eventually get the upper hand and take back Europe.....too much warring and infighting among the Original Black nations took the focus away from watching a bunch of hairy savages crawling around in caves eating raw meat and wearing moose heads....lol. "Ahh....ugah....ugah...shee!" They were so savage they didn't really need anyone to keep them contained....until Moses was sent up there to civilize them and organize them.
  24. ProfD And what they're calling "Progressive" is usually far off the mark from actual REAL Progress. Especially as it relates to AfroAmericans. Back in the day, what it meant to be "liberal" was pretty clear. You were against war. You were for AfroAmerican Rights. You were for Women's Rights. You were for programs that helped the poor. Then in the 80s they muddied it up with abortion, homosexuality, and illegal immigration. Not that these things aren't important and shouldn't be discussed....but they should stand on their own merit and not be tethered to other movements.
  25. Now, i have to wonder who paid off the Black guards to allow them to escape and take over the world.
  26. The fear to take risks will guarantee failure. The fear of sharing wealth is a problem too. Black folks have been conditioned to mistrust each other. Mistrust, greed and jealousy, etc, makes it harder for Black folks to work together in order to start businesses and patronize them. Post-slavery PTSD is very real. It has never been treated.
  27. It was a stunt. The National Guard was never in the city hotspots. They were hanging out in the touristy areas. Of course, n8gglets were smart enough to lay low until they left the city. No need to have them show up in the hood. Crime was on a downward trajectory before the troops were deployed in the city The most recent shootings and killings would have happenened eventually. The National Guard cannot deter all of it.
  28. ProfD Let me interrupt this program to ask you a quick question before I forget: I thought Trump had the National Guard patrolling the streets of D.C. I heard talk of them pulling out soon, but it's my understanding that they're still there as of now. I thought it was just a stunt...and still do...but then I read and heard from multiple people that they actually DID reduce the crime and violence there. Now for the past week or two it seems like it's back to business as usual with MULTIPLE shootings and killings around the city. What's going on, are the troops still there?
