  1. Sunday 2 July 2023 08:11, UK NAHEL MERZOUK Nahel Merzouk, 17, who was of Algerian and Moroccan descent, was shot by a police officer during a traffic stop on Tuesday in the Paris suburb of Nanterre. https://news.sky.com/story/france-riots-what-we-know-about-nahel-merzouk-the-teenager-who-was-shot-dead-by-police-12913089
  2. Love this! Yes! I can understand this. So, what I understand is that, this kind of power to think and to act is given to us as part of our being born humans and/or being created. Power is given to all living things whether man or beast. So yes, I can see where power would come first, in this sense, because it is part of our creation. So after we have the power to rise from our beds, think, learn, eat, mature, then comes believing and knowledge which can increase. And by nature, we as humans have a certain amount of common sense in that we know certain things. But then as humans, and after having this innate power, we acquire belief principles and gain knowledge on how to use our power and how to increase our power. Yes. So my knowledge is nothing when it comes to the real truth in what comes first! It seems to me that there are levels to each. I like this proverb, when I think about this topic: [25] There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. PROVERBS 16.25.
  3. Yeah, they're kicking up dust in France right now....lol. This is because of two reasons: 1. The Blacks and Arabs of France are for the most part 1st and 2nd generation immigrants so they don't look at France as "theirs" and many don't mind destroying it. 2. Europeans in general don't tolerate police brutality as much as those in the U.S. who've become accustomed to it now. Back in 1992 the beating of Rodney King sparked riots that lasted for days. Back in the 60s police killings and raids set off riots as the people were so strong they found it intolerable. Today, so much of American society has become a police state and so many police killings have taken place that many Americans have become numb to it. Also, the mass incarceration and heavily medication of young men have also contributed to why there is less outrage in the U.S. over police brutality today than in the past. Europe hasn't practiced mass incarceration......yet....so a lot of energized youth still roam the streets.
  4. That unwillingness to share with and/or help each other along with the backstabbing and jealousy are byproducts of divide and conquer. The fishscales of believing the white man's ice is colder have to be removed from the eyes of Black folks in order for them to *see* themselves as kings, queens, prince and princesses. Otherwise, codification has to become a religious practice. Tall order. Many Black folks sit up in churches every Sunday for decades and run around sinning from Sunday afternoon until the wee hours of the following Sunday. ๐Ÿคฃ Good habits have to become a lifestyle and way of life in order to stick and become effective. Codification requires it too. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. Ofcourse, growing up in an extremely diverse world class city like New York.....you get exposed to a lot more of what this world has to offer. When I go to New York, I see people practicing entire RELIGIONS I hadn't heard of....lol. Hadn't even heard of their religion, but here's a bunch of niggas with rags wrapped around their heads standing behind tables in Brooklyn selling oils and trinkets and talking with fake accents...lol. Places like Chicago, Detroit, and Atlanta has the same thing but to a lesser degree because of the lower population. I'm sure there were SOME Black folks who practiced the Black sign language but I didn't know about them.
  6. Interesting @Delano I can understand your reasoning when it comes to a mental and emotional level. And I can understand that all three have levels; Power, Knowledge and Belief have certain levels. An Igonrant force can overpower knowledge and so when I think about it in this way, I think about extinction. Hopefully, mankind will not become extinct due to brute force and power. Nuclear War comes to my mind. The Desolation of Abomination.
  7. @Pioneer1, talking to our brothas is cool but don't get misty eyed when doing so. There's a reason Africans leave a whole continent behind to build a life elsewhere especially in racist countries. I also have a hard time reconciling how a man can be a doctor in Africa and an Uber driver in America. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. @Pioneer1, you're right...AfroAmericans need to make a habit of codification, patent & trademark too. The achilles heel is that AfroAmericans don't have a way of protecting their sh8t. White folks are willing to kill in order to steal especially if there's a fortune to be made. If I could just get older AfroAmericans to write gotd8mn Will, that would be a step towards codification. ๐Ÿ˜ Otherwise, when they die, the family falls apart fighting over sh8t they didn't work for and don't own.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. Man, on some Hall & Oates sh8t...I can't go for that.๐Ÿคฃ That mindset is one of the reasons Africa is a mess. It's another form of divide and conquer is to give a few a lot and let the rest fight over crumbs or starve to death. As human beings, we can do so much better. There's enough resources on this planet for everyone to have a great life. The deadly sins won't allow human beings to be their best. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  10. Yes, you overcome power with MORE power. But understand that it's not JUST knowledge that leads to power but as Mel states -ACTION, as well. You have to ACT on what you know. Knowledge + Action -> Power If someone you love has a disease and you want the power to cure it, just opening up a book....reading it....and going back to bed...isn't likely to do the job. You read the book and then ACT on the knowledge the book gave you, to cure the patient. This is why students must become INTERNS before becoming doctors. A period of time for action and doing after and while studying and gaining knowledge. Like the old folks used to say, if you KNOW better than....what???....you should DO better. Acting on knowledge will give you POWER.
