  1. Undoubtedly, Black folks have generated enough wealth especially within the entertainment industry leading to broader creative opportunities. As a result, Black filmmakers have the resources and latitude to make non-stereotypical films to the benefit of Spike Lee, Hudlin Brothers, Antoine Fuqua, F. Gary Gray, Jordan Peele, Ryan Coogler, etc. 😎
  2. (1) This statement is true. In fields like sociology race is recognized as a social construct and determines in some cultures how people relate to each other. (2) This statement is true. There is no "race" gene. There can easily be more genetic variation within a so-called race that there is between two different ones. The problem for some is that they view the world in Black or white (literally). They take the social construct and believe that it must be founded in our genes. They can't hold statements (1) and (2) being true at the same time. This is unfortunate as it stunts their ability to understand the world and the people in it.
  3. Finally got around to watching Sinners. Very well done movie. Enjoyed it. While I can see how and why folks could dive into deeper meanings, I'll wait for Ryan Coogler to spill the tea if it exists.😎
  4. For this counter to be up, I guess Trump must have done something stressful again. Idk. I am staying tuned though. However, I am happy that you are not bashing him like others who feel the obvious burn from his administration! You are the head of this community. You've got style! You give others the opportunity to voice their frustrations and heated opinions. Thank you!
