I think it also depends on the TYPE of Africans you meet.

If you're in the D.C. area, then most of the Africans you meet are probably from Somalia, Ethiopia, and Ereatria.

They tend to be more anti-Black American than West Africans from say Nigeria, Ghana, and Senegal.

Further up, I wrote that there are Africans in my family.  They are from the West.  It's not that they're anti-black.  They've just been poisoned with ignorance from sucking on that colder ice.  😁😎

If i was a younger man, I would charter a bus to go down there and pick up those damsels in distress and bring them back to my house.

Problem is.....half of the "women" you pick up might not even be real women.
And you won't find out until it's TOO LATE...lol.

Fuck around and pick up Lil Nas X and have HIM chasing you around the house....lol

Hilarious. But, nah bro, I'm a hood n8gga who stays on code.  I'd do a strip search physical before anyone could step foot on the bus. Let some nutz hang and watch the left hook and cane swing.  Singapore style. 😁😎

It's true that many Africans are hooked on "White Jesus" and see Caucasians are their saviors.
They are steeped in religion too.
When it comes to being heavily religious with that blue-eyed Jesus on the wall, many seem to be where we were back in 1900s

I'll tell you what always worked for me to break the ice with Africans was showing them how much I knew about their particular nation or ethnic group.
That usually impresses most people from foreign countries because most of them don't think Americans know ANYTHING about where they come from, especially a Black American.
I find out where an African sister is from and drop a little knowledge on her about her own culture, who colonized her country, ect....next thing you know she's sitting next to me grinning away, lol.

I actually Africans have a lot to teach us about family, certain morals, and certain behaviors that we lost 50 years ago being in too close proximity with Caucasians.
We both have a lot to teach eachother.

Yeah, that's part of the problem i have with Africans and black foreigners in general.  They have a whole country and culture that they left to come here.  But, they want to tell us AfroAmericans all about the morals, customs and values back home while they're sucking on the white man's ice.

Again, when I press these n8gglets on why they left such a beautiful place to come to this raggedy spot, well, it ain't all that sweet over there depending on your tribe and  politics.

So, my game is different when it comes to meeting people in general but especially women.  I purposefully never try to impress them with anything.  In fact, I'd rather for folks to see me as a regular, big, black, bald headed n8gga from the hood.  Kick it with me  based on the laws of mutual attraction.  Then, through regular conversation, I proceed to mind f8ck them with my knowledge, skills, abilities, talent, accomplishments, etc.  It's an aphrodisiac that has served me well all my life. 😎

Oh man, Atlanta is the gay Black capital....lol.

It's the San Francisco of Black America...lol.

I'm not sure exactly what happened to that city, but the rainbow runs right through it.

I wonder if it may be a....not a curse....but some type of punishment put on the children of the Black people who ran away from other cities.

Yeah, I don't know when ATL developed that lisp. I didn't notice it when I visited down there back in the early 2000s.

I've been told there's a certain part of the city with all types of brothas on the alphabet soup stroll.  We talking about football player, Suge Knight and Deebo looking n8gglets.  A sad state of affairs.

Well, the silver lining or pot of gold at the end of that rainbow is that there is a plethora of lonely, thirsty, AfroAmerican women in ATL.

If i was a younger man, I would charter a bus to go down there and pick up those damsels in distress and bring them back to my house. 😁😎

it is amusing and sad to see the transformation entertainers will go through in order to sell themselves.

Fake hair, eyelashes, butts, breasts, dental implants, tanning and bleaching, etc.

Cynique, the US population is 335 million people.  Only about 1/3 of a billion.

Purposefully, I believe we're being inundated with dishes full of  mis(information) and a healthy side of politicization

It is just enough  noise to keep keep the average person dazed and confused.  The smart folks know exactly what they're doing.  Watch their hands. 😎

  7.  Unfortunately, they have been whitening black folks for a long time:

So, I'm not surprised Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter has received the whitening treatment.

I think it's unfortunate that in 2021, some black folks are still selling out. 😎

This is one of the reasons I have so much respect for Bill and Camille Cosby... They gave so many MILLIONS of dollars to various Black colleges.

Whoever pays the Piper calls the tunes.
If we don't want half of the young men in Morehouse or Howard walking around in high-heels and miniskirts...we better make sure WE are the primary benefactors of these institutions and not White financiers.

Absolutely. The Cosbys definitely payed it forward with HBCUs.

I *hate* the way those same institutions tried to distance themselves from Bill when sh8t hit the fan.

White folks go down fighting on behalf of their benefactor regardless of whether they're good or bad.

Well, it might be too late for Morehouse which is located in Atlanta.

I'm hearing ATL has become the national headquarters of the black alphabet soup community.😁😎

What really pulls me in are those African women...lol.

If I had the resources and connections I'd start a dating/marriage service between Africans and AfroAmericans.

That's a tall order because African women have been brainwashed the most especially as it relates to AfroAmerican men.

Without divulging too much info over the internet, because there are Africans in my family,  I'll just write that I've got a window seat into that whole situation.

The funny thing is if *I* ever decide to go to Africa, it's already set up that they'll roll out the red carpet for a brotha. I just have no desire to make the trip. 😎

However I take issue with Black people building too much of their wealth and economy around anything web based, because all it takes is a massive power failure or a major solar flare to wipe out a large portion of your economy.

We need brick-n-mortar businesses with paved streets and sky scrapers.
Stocks and trades are for people who have already BUILT a solid society and infrastructure and now have time to move on to the more "finer" things.

Well bro, in this day and age, the reality is that we need both. Otherwise, we get the dinosaur tag. 😁

Brick and mortar buildings are needed to produce things and warehouse merchandise.

A virtual infrastructure to communicate and conduct business across time zones and continents is a necessity.

The pandemic has proven that folks don't need to work in office buildings.

I believe skyscrapers will eventually become luxury apartment buildings and condos as more folks work from home. 😎

  13. Haitian Gang Kidnaps for Ransom

Killing the President was a semi-professional hit considering the perpetrators were caught less than 26 minutes later.

So, I don't know whose  bright idea it was to kidnap 17 people and demand a $17M ransom on an island.

Needless to type, the FBI is on the case. This will not end well for the crash dummies in charge of this kidnapping.

I just find it incredulous that these folks would try  such a crime  against an adversary with sophisticated technological resources.

They have to know that from outer space, US intelligence is capable of identifying the brand of a smoked cigarette laying in the bushes.

Being able to see every nook and cranny of an island is child's play. I predict this situation will be over in about 96 hours. 😎

I know there has been a lot of talk of tension between Africans and AfroAmericans, but I think much of it is do to cultural misunderstandings and our LACK of a culture of our own.

Sure.  I clear up any misunderstanding they may have through dlalog, food, drinks, laughter and music.  It's easy to see that we're not much different.😁

Non-AfroAmerican black folks do have cultural ties that bind them.  I think that's great for all groups of people who have it.

But, in my dealings with non-AfroAmerican black folks, I find that many of them have been poisoned into thinking and believing the worst of Afro-Americans based white imagery and narratives of us.  Of course, AfroAmericans don't help ourselves based on the sh8t folks get to see on TV.

While it has been co-opted from our colonizers, I do believe AfroAmericans do have a cultural tie that binds us as well.  AfroAmericans have a flavor and ways of doing things that we instinctively accept among ourselves. But, the most important tie to me is our black skin regardless of shade.

Otherwise, I get along with people in general regardless of where they come from because in my mind we're all human beings first and foremost.  Living by the golden rule serves me well too.

Beyond that, I'm still calling balls and strikes as I see them regardless of race/ethnicity/culture. There's still work to be done in dismantling the system of racism. 😎

Don't get me wrong, I don't SUPPORT selling out or abandoning the AfroAmerican community....however I understand it.
I understand WHY so many of our people...especially our men...do it.

Decisions Decisions my man....not everybody is up for the sacrifice.

Correct.  That's why I place emphasis on a strong black man.  Building a nation takes strength, intelligence, charisma, diplomacy, etc.    Leadership ain't for the faint of heart. 😎

Dr. Dre, has "inducted" Eminem into his Rapper hall of Fame. And Run DMC credit the Beastie Boys with being the real thing in this peer group.  How can you condone black folks giving James Bond and Suoerman do-overs and colorizing what was originally white, and then condemn whites for being Rappers or adopting  other forms of  blakc music?   So, would it be permissible for whites to discourage blacks from playing classical music by the old Masters? Ars Gratia artis

Well, since black folks created everything, we're just taking it back. White folks don't really create anything.  They steal and repackage it. 😎

i feel no great kinship for Africa.  What has it done for me lately?

Same here.  I have the great fortune of being around Africans enough to know better.

Being a natural comedian, whenever they (Africans) try to complain about AfroAmericans, I have several questions:

    1) why did you leave your country and come to America

    2) why didn't Africans come back to pick up our ancestors when the cruise ship got stranded

    3) why did Africans sell each other into slavery

    4) why are African countries practicing greed and corruption

    5) why are people poor and/or starving in Africa with its abundance of resources

    6) why do Africans mix and match Polo, FUBU, Phat Farm, Enyce and RocaWear

    7) Why are Africans afraid to put lotion on their heels

African n8gglets are no different from AfroAmerican n8gglets especially when it comes to believing the white man's ice is colder. 😎

Wait, what?!  I know you must be joking LOL!

...we could develop our own league, but we will not because collectively we have been trained -- brainwashed -- to into be workers not owners.

We also have been trained to believe that the white man's ice is colder, which may be true, because they get all of our support, and we serve at their largess...

Troy,  I have no desire to be a drag on this very fine forum. If anything I write seems to be negative or out of line, let me know.

You've captured it in the quote above regarding why black folks are content with sharecropping on the plantation that is America instead of owning it. 😎
