  1. Honestly, I don't care if some people are offended. I am tired of how "OPEN" and "CANDID" Black men are allowed to be on this subject. But when a Black woman stands up for herself she is labeled a Bitch, hater, sell-out and everything else from both Black men and women!!

I'm not following this nor do I see it. I didn't see any offensive comments by any black males ("OPEN and CANDID")that rose to the level of degrading or bad mouthing black women. And if black women stand up for themselves (whatever that means), why would she be labeled a bitch or hater? And a sell out of what?? The only time this would apply is if they hysterically screamed all the racist and profane obscenities that you did.

And although I love and respect Kola. I can't honestly apologize for expressing myself like this. And I am NOT trying to carry the "grace" and "class" of anyone else BUT ME!!

Good for you. But I believe the woman simply stated she did not want her name drug into your hysterical racist rants. She said she did not want you using her name to validate your personal venomous tirades. You're free to give your opinions but you shouldn't enlist other people into your arguments unless....well...you don't mind them publically kicking you to the curb.

Because, personally, I think all this "coddling" and "kiss blowing" at Black men when they are spewing venomous hatred at not just Black women but Black people in general IS NOT THE ANSWER!!

And where did this happen? I didn't see one comment where a black male member of this forum attacked or disrespected black women. And what do you propose since you said "coddling" and "kiss blowing" is not the answer? An all out open declared war of BW on BM? With what goal in mind? Good luck.....

And these High yellow women like Cynique are still the biggest "cheerleaders" of these Black men because where she lives her status has not been usurped yet. Because she was/is still ordained "Queen nigga bitch of the "hood" by Black men. However, where I live, Black women that look like......

So now not only are black men the enemy but light complexioned black women also? You sound like a very angry and bitter black woman who has lost out to lighter complexioned black women and white women. Sorry to hear this. I don't know what to say other than you'll never have a relationship with a black man until you address your seething anger and skin color issues. No wonder the brothers are picking white, Latino and lighter complexioned women over you. Too much bitterness and drama......

  2. And that is because...I don't like the way you invoke my name in your posts

or try to make it appear that you and I are damned near the same person.

You don't speak for "KOLA" because I would not put things quite this way.

Though you share my rage, you possess NONE of my elegance, wit or savvy and

    that pisses me off.

Well, it that ain't a reality slap in the face there never was one........

  3. The more you rant, the more a case is made for black men lookin elsewhere for love. Contrary to your ignorant, totally-irrelevant retorts, I haven't defended black men. I don't need to. When it comes to interracial mating, you represent a white woman's best friend and a brotha's best excuse. An obnoxious freak like you disgraces the dignity of black women and taints their cause. And unfortunately, they can't screw themselves the way a trannie pervert like you can do. So stfu and go crawl back into your troll hole and come up with something more effective than the same ol tired spiel you drag out everytime this subject comes up

    hahaha-024.gif

  4. I swear to God I hate the Internet sometimes.

Look, Mister. I've shown my face. I let them hear my voice. I told you my name and told you that I had a Facebook. I gave you my email address (which you cannot get unless you are a student) and I've just been waiting for somebody from this site to email me. Nobody has. Boxing out my face and crossing out my eyes and mouth doesn't prove anything except the fact that I still don't look a damn thing like the person I'm accused of…………………

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! This is hilarious. Listen sweetie, you’re the one who is having a temper tantrum because people question you –not me! If you have a point, make it and move on. All the histrionics and whining for approval and recognition is not necessary. Your comments and posts are welcomed and encouraged. But your teenage drama and hysterical pleading for approval (or whatever you are desperate for) is unwarranted. Just make your point or commentary and be done with it. Ok.....?

  5. Black people must leave, NJ Walmart announcer says

Bruce Shipkowski, Associated Press Writer, On Thursday March 18, 2010, 1:07 am EDT

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- A Walmart store announcement ordering black people to leave brought chagrin and apologies Wednesday from leaders of the company, which has built a fragile trust among minority communities.

A male voice came over the public-address system Sunday evening at a store in Washington Township, in southern New Jersey, and calmly announced: "Attention, Walmart customers: All black people, leave the store now."

Shoppers in the store at the time said a manager quickly got on the public-address system and apologized for the remark. And while it was unclear whether a rogue patron or an employee was responsible for the comment, many customers expressed their anger to store management.

"I want to know why such statements are being made, because it flies in the face of what we teach our children about tolerance for all," said Sheila Ellington, who was in the store at the time with a friend. "If this was meant to be a prank, there's only one person laughing, and it's not either one of us."

Ellington, of Monroe, and her friend Patricia Covington said they plan to boycott the retailer until they're assured the issue has been addressed so it doesn't happen again.

The pair said they were stunned when they heard the announcement and initially believed they had misheard it. But once the words sank in, they grew angry.

"I depended on Walmart for all my needs, because the store has pretty much everything you could want," Covington said. "But until this issue is addressed in a way I'm comfortable with, I can't walk through those doors again."

Officials with Wal-Mart Stores Inc., based in Bentonville, Ark., said that the announcement was "unacceptable" and that they're trying to determine who made it and how it happened.

"We are just as appalled by this incident as our customers," the company said in a statement. "Whoever did this is just wrong and acted in an inappropriate manner. Clearly, this is completely unacceptable to us and to our customers."

This is not the first time the retailer has faced such problems.

There have been several past instances of black customers claiming they were treated unfairly at Walmart stores, and the company faced lawsuits alleging that women were passed over in favor of men for pay raises and promotions.

In February 2009, the retailer paid $17.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging racial discrimination in its hiring of truck drivers.

And the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued the company in May 2009, claiming some Hispanic employees at a Sam's Club subsidiary in California were subjected to a hostile work environment. That suit alleges managers failed to stop repeated verbal harassment, including the use of derogatory words, against employees of Mexican descent.

However, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has said the company has worked hard in recent years to show it cares about diversity.

Bill Mitchell, a former Walmart employee who was shopping Wednesday at the store, said that he was saddened to hear about the announcement but that "as a black man, I've heard worse things."

As customer Sharon Osbourne, of Williamstown, left the store Wednesday, she called the announcement "appalling, stupid and sad."

  6. I skimmed through the old forums. On almost every thread the two of you posted on, you would both would derail the thread into a a full blown verbal slug fest. I'm not down for that. I don't know if you're suffering from argument withdrawal or if you miss going back and forth with her, but I'm not going to role-play and be replacement goldfish because your arch-nemesis decided...............

Harass me with this again and I'll report you.

Um, I think you need to stop at this juncture my friend. You have been outed and exposed. There is no point in carrying on like you are. It's pathetic. Show some personal dignity and just STOP. My God woman, are you that desperate?

  7. Seemingly the black romance genre has undergone a make-over at the hands the gritty street-lit authors. But, although I am personally not among them, I'm sure there is still an audience of black females who like "relationship" novels, preferring their heroines and heroes to be something other than skanks and gangstas. Obviously, your publisher thinks this.

This is true. I'm also sure there is an audience for black romance novels. Although I personally have no use for such a genre, I believe such novels should be available to those who enjoy them. It's tragic that black literature seems to have taken on the stereotype of nothing but inner city street coonery, vice and violence. Unfortunately, there is a generation of young blacks who seem to believe this is the only type of writing that is worth their time.

  8. Come on man, keep talking. Your comments mimmick that of the drunk brotha being interviewed after a news event. They ain't seen shit, they ain't talking about shit, and THEY are the poster child for niggas gone wild.

The subject of HIV was but a very small subplot. The entire dialog could be compressed into 2 minutes or less. Put down that 40oz and save yourself a little money. Then, you might have enough money to actually see a movie that you obviously know nothing about. But, if you like being the gap mouth brotha on the midnight news, have another drink.

  9. But what I 've been hearing from the "Precious" hating crowd, reeks of stupidity. Much of it is based on faulty logic. First, I hear the cry of "how it make "US" look. Now, if that ain't some dumb shit. Plus, many of those naysayers are making remarks about the movie, that shows the sign of a fool. I mean, if you listen, it's obvious they are just mimmicking words of others, because their comments have nothing to do with the movie. At least, not the one I saw. How can a person assess a movie values, messages and rewards (good & bad), without viewing it? Granted, a person can make the decision not to view a movie, based on subject matter. However, to imply it's a tool of "the white man", is simply negro baffoonery
    .

    clap.gifThank you...............

  10. Xeon what other rational reason is there for someone to get all in a huff over what someone else naming their child LaTryianna or Queteshia? Would you prefer a list of approved names that we can use to name our children?

Troy, it appears that you and I have totally different views about this name issue. I must admit that I am somewhat taken back by the fact you cannot see the silliness of these childish inane names and the self stigmatizing ghettoization of a generation of blacks post 1970. It’s so sad. I find it very difficult and perplexing to seriously debate this type of coonery. Sorry, but I can’t be nice about it or say it any other way. I guess you and I can be civil and agree to disagree and move on. And although we stand on different sides of the street on this issue, I still respect your opinions…..

There might only be one person in the entire country named "Abcde" but it does not matter; the self-hating Negro will point it out. Self-hating Negroes think they cane make up for the transgressions of the "misbehaving" Negro by calling him "stupid", "ignorant" or "uncivilized".

Wow! This is ridiculous. You seem to be seriously be missing something here Troy. Just because a black person does not subscribe or takes issues with monolithic group-think -does not mean they hate themselves. I have no idea how you came to such convoluted logical deduction. It makes no sense. Just because a person does not belong to the Black Borg, does not mean they do not want to be black or have issues with being black. It reminds me of what George Schuyler described as “Negro hokum”.You would be hard pressed to prove such an outrageous accusation. There is no way you could know something like that unless you possessed an individual's medical records, documenting their attempted suicides, history of self mutilation or an ongoing history asserting that they hated themselves.

I think you are confusing political dissention and independence from black groupthink. Every race and ethnicity has diverse and opposing views and politics. Are blacks not allowed the same freedom? Just because a black person disagrees with so-called nationalistic Afro-ology or rebukes the cancerous Negro dogma of victimization and entitlement, once again -does not they hate themselves. Why you believe a black person who disagrees with Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, does not approve of these tragic but trendy doofus names or openly criticizes the Neo-Negro coon culture, some how -must hate themselves? Makes no sense whatsoever.

I believe reality would be best served if you would state your specific disagreement points with the individuals politics and leave the improvable cheap stolid “self-hate” accusations to those who are intellectually incapable of formulating a meaningful or salient argument.

  11. New Zealand woman sells souls to highest bidder

Mon Mar 8, 11:33 pm ET

WELLINGTON, New Zealand – The rare spirits that went under the gavel at a recent online auction in New Zealand weren't aged brandies or hard-to-find liqueurs.

Instead, two glass vials purportedly containing the ghosts of two dead people sold for $2,830 New Zealand dollars ($1,983) at an auction that ended Monday night.

The "ghosts" were put up for bidding by Avie Woodbury from the southern city of Christchurch. She said they were captured in her house and stored in glass vials with stoppers and dipped in holy water, which she says "dulls the spirits' energy."

She said they were the spirits of an old man who lived in the house during the 1920s, and a powerful, disruptive little girl who turned up after a session with a spirit-calling Ouija board. Since an exorcism at the property last July led to their capture, there has been no further spooky activity in the house, she said.

The auction attracted more than 214,000 page views and dozens of questions before the winning bid, Trademe auction site spokesman Paul Ford said Tuesday. The name of the winning bidder was not released.

Woodbury said that once an "exorcist's fee" has been deducted, the proceeds of the spirit sale will go to the animal welfare group the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

  12. I see why white folks liked it. They love to see n****z flailing around, crying and screaming and crapping on themselves. Gets em right here (grabs his own crotch)

How do you know this? What makes you think the average white person is preoccupied or has any ongoing interest with what Negroes do in a movie or in real life? Both blacks and whites seemed to have liked this movie. Why is affinity for the movie by blacks ok while that of whites is vile or racist? Too many Negroes like you seem to believe whites are obsessed with what you do than reality dictates. I have a copy of the movie but have yet to watch it. Good thing I'm not white because if I like it, it must mean I like to witness "n****z flailing around, crying and screaming and crapping on themselves" (Whew! I dodged that bullet!). This would be correct according to your logic....?

  13. Making fun of a name like Shaniqua, in my mind, is a form of self hatred; because the hatred stems from the name not confirming to a "so called" European Standard and the assumption (false assumption in my opinion) that the name alone will be held against one trying to gain employment or otherwise be held against them.

A form of self hatred??!! Excuse me, but why would I hate myself because a misguided Negro decided to give their child a childish simple minded name? How and why would the embarrassing ignorance of someone who named their child, Placenta, Abcde, LaTryianna or Queteshia through some convoluted psychopathology - make me hate myself??? Just exactly how does this process work? It makes as much sense as me saying, “Man, the Raiders suck! They haven’t’ been a .500 team in years.” And you respond by saying,”Huh? Well, sounds like you hate yourself….” Duhhhhh??? Again, how and why would I hate myself because of the decisions a person (or season record of a team) I do not personally know lead to me hating myself?? And conforming to European standards has absolutely nothing to do with subject. I’m afraid your logic makes absolutely no sense Mr. Troy. But you are free to explain it…..

  14. ......that all Blacks acknowledge the influences of The Motherland on their culture. They are just not obsessed or preooccupied with proselytizing something that has little relevance in the dominant culture because they have their priorities together and are more focused on staying afloat in the mainstream - just like all other ethnic minorities.

Brilliant! I believe that puts this discussion in a realistic perspective.....

  15. A child deserves to be given every chance to succeed in life, and names are a brand. Of course it isn't fair to judge a person by his or her name, but life is not fair. Haven't black folks learned by now that there is no justice in this world???? Enuff with the poly-syllabic tongue-twisters replete with apostrophes. Stop using your child to indulge your whims.

I could not have said it better. It's depressing to see misguided ignorant Negroes believing they are being different by giving their children poly-syllabic nonsensical names you would expect from a juvenile (certainly not an adult). It seems the reality of the potential stigma of such pernicious names is beyond their mental grasp. As you said, they are too busy indulging in their doltish whims. And I also agree with your comment, "Those who want to venerate and celebrate their African origins should, perhaps, return to the Motherland to avoid frustration." The American Negroes who have these Afro fantasizes and daydreams would do best by going to the so-called Motherland so they may act out their race frustrations and actualize their uber Afro-nicity. A jolting reality check won't be far behind…..

  16. I didn't expect a self-appointed griot like you to agree with my comments because people like you can't stand for others to challenge their pontificating.

But be advised that I am equally unimpressed with your rebuttal because what you say hasn't proved its worth. And you mimic your so-called oppressors by repressing dissent. Until the countries of West Africa set an example of how their noble ancestry has benefitted them, then you need to focus on what Blacks need to …………….You and all of your preaching are probably descended from the tribes that sold their captives to the white slave hunters.

Nice post. I think everything that needs to be said was said here. Your response was cogent, accurate and obliterates the erroneous and very tired Afro-nationalistic bombastic silliness. It reminds me of the racist altiloquence of Skinheads, Neo-Nazis and Aryan Nation schizoids. Their race baiting blather is the law and the end all. And anyone how disagrees is a white race traitor and hater. Same goes for the cacophonous Afro-nudniks and their self hate or being ignorant of self accusations if someone has an opinion that contradicts theirs. So sad…..
