@ProfD, anybody did you watch the video?  You actually don’t have to watch it. I blew by the 10 minute intro and listen to the rest of it while taking a walk. It was interesting enough for me to listen to the whole thing. This video is actually the first of two parts.

It is convincing. I plan to listen to the second video on my next walk

Sometimes I think we can have a paranormal experience and not recognize it or see it as such.

I close my eyes I'm in a different environment and see scrolls with printing on them.

That could be the Akashic Records

I have heard felt two dead relatives when they passed away. I have smelled, seen and heard something however it wasn't something that went through my senses

I did not but I will on the strength of your suggestion.😎

@Troy no, one was about a 15 minute car ride away, and the other was a 5 hour plane ride away.

One night I felt like I walked through three portals and then I had two people's mind. I read both twice, one was on purpose the other was accidental. The accidental one is the mother of my daughter. She also happens to be an unconscious witch.

I'm half-way through part 1 of the video. Dr. Stevenson uses anecdotal information to support his thesis.

The interview was in 2004. Dr. Ian Stevenson died in 2007. He had a combination lock.

Dr. Stevenson claimed that after his death he would try to pass the combination lock code to someone through a dream using a secret word or phrase. Didn't happen.

One of the perks of living in a 1st world country is having the luxury of indulging in subjects that have little or nothing to do with anything in particular.🤣😎

Ain’t dat the truth 🙂

As far as the video, I wasn’t actually recommending that people watch it. I was just giving my opinion. I was curious if others have watched it.

@ProfD It is interesting that he said he would try to relate some information from the spirit world after he passed and apparently hasn’t done it. I remember Harry Houdini saying he would do the same thing I guess it doesn’t work that way….

Or maybe it can’t be done.

@Troy, Delano & ProfD:

My paranormal experiences aren't necessarily spontaneous or surprising. I believe they were/are  the culmination of things I experimented with years ago. I've always been fascinated with meta-physics and the supernatural. When I was young and into new age stuff, I did a lot of rituals and things to try and draw good fortune into my life. I experimented with mirrors and chanting and imaging, and collecting talismans.

Crystals actually do have special chemical properties; that's why they are used in electrical devices. Pyramids, as we know, date back centuries and not only embody mathematical principles but emit a certain kind of energy. Mirrors capture you and when facing each other can reflect images ad infinitum.  Chanting turns sound waves into energy and when done while simultaneously picturing  what you want to materialize, can  facilitate results. (Prayer works on this same principle.)

I expected quick results with all my rituals, not realizing that the things you send out into the Universe are on a different time wave.

Now, it's like all of these rituals I was doing are gradually manifesting themselves, making my life outre, and I believe this includes my longevity; and is  why I have chronologically reached my 90s but am mentally and, in some weirdly physical areas, frozen in middle age.

I now realize more than ever that there is more to life than meets the eye. It's a lot about the different frequencies at which we are vibrating, and the different dimensions some are able to shift into...

@Delano I never thought about the scrolls I keep seeing when I close my eyes, possibly being glimpses of the Emerald Tablets or akashik  records. There is writing on them, but I never remember what I read

Just some thoughts I felt compelled to share

...hmmmm 🤔

Now THIS is the part I'd like to hear more about, lol.

I'm familiar with it and read through it.
Not the entire book, but parts of it.

Although technically I shouldn't condemn a book or declare it a fraud until I've read the ENTIRE book from cover to cover to make that determination; sometimes if I'm reading a book and see CLEAR errors and fraudulent claims in it in the first few chapers....I won't waste my time reading further.
Especially if it's a so-called "religious" book...which ideally shouldn't contain any errors.

I came across a sacred Vedic text it said that if you are devoted to Astrology you could develop powers.

Did you try it out to see if it worked?

@Pioneer1 how do you try out devotion

Because it's an ACTION.
A PRACTICE.

And like any other PRACTICE.....
Martial Arts practice, Cheer Leading practice, Medical practice, Legal practice.....you must TRY it in order to PRACTICE it.

Trying something out implies a casualness that antithetical to devotion

Actually, you make a good point.
Trying something out implies that if it becomes uncomfortable or you don't like it....you may quit it.

I stand corrected on that one 😉

I started but it was a bit to dry. I may go back and give it a listen

@aka Contrarian since 2016 I have been doing time based spells both for myself and others. They work quite well the first one I did I was in and out of the governmental unemployment agency in ten minutes they're were about 5 people ahead of me.

I did a major spell a few years back and out is still working. Most spells I do are busy for a day or an activity. So I am also finding they're is a cumulative effect. Life has c gotten a bit easier, more small moments of joy. I am unappreciative to want more than I am receiving?
