What does “NSFW” mean?

 

Porn, is probably best suited for masturbation which is a private matter typically.

 

Erotica like good foreplay starts with mental stimulation and the photos aren’t necessary if it’s any good.

 

While I have no idea, what an NSFW is, I would not mix porn and erotica together in the same question,, as I (and I believe most ) consider them two different things. This is something else that makes this question difficult to answer (at least for me).

I believe I gave you my definitions for porn and erotica. Porn is for jerking off and erotica is for the mind. Porn is NSFW, while erotica may be… depending in the job. … then again the same could be said for porn—depends on the job 😉

I don't want to assume. By your words I can guess no cause if you never looked at a photograph/film/illustration read a book that was erotica or porn then you never saw such things to deem artistic. For most of the life of the Internet pornography was basically the purpose of the WWW as that was most of the traffic. Today, I believe collectively it is social media, but there’s a lot of porn on social media too.

yes i do and I comprehended completely. I do have groups elsewhere and i have to remove content for both reasons, algorithms + people statse. I recall I fully comprehended.  

No, in my artistic journey I have seen much:) but when it comes to online activity the reality is, as always, the creative side the commercial. The creative is beyond infinity in volume. But the commercial is limited in volume. No one can be prude in a creative way because  what you like creatively is always a matter of taste. No one's taste is excessive, it is merely the truth. And as for the commercial, the goal is to make money, and online money has two currencies, dollars and followers/viewers. To the dollars,  if the algorithms that showcase content lead advertisers to support based on more porn all websites would welcome more porn . To followers/viewers every website has to know their membership/viewership and you do and they don't want. No excessive manners in any way.

I have a library of over a thousand books....Maybe less than 20 has anything to do with erotica or porno - Comprised Mostly of  History philosophy Religion Spirituality and Black and African Politics

I used to live in books every weekend I bought at least two books for myself and one for each of my kids.

For me and the kids going to barnes & nobles was an event and a place where we regularly spent 3-4 hours a week.

@richardmurrayI'm sure you're familiar with the black female author Zane who specializes in erotica and whose  book, a best seller entitled  "Addicted" detailed the sexual escapades of its black female protagonist . 

Zane  has her own publishing company and even went on to produce a black soft porn TV series called The Sex Chronicals. I used to watch it because I found people having sex in almost every scene amusing.

 I was in my  60s by the time porn came into its heyday on videos and TV. At some point checking it out became boring to me; too repetitive. I didn't get any vicarious thrills from watching it.

Sex toys were more interesting.
