Rep. Al Green Files Articles of Impeachment against POTUS

Rep. Al Green (D-TX) has filed articles of impeachment against POTUS OJ with regard to the Gaza Strip.

 

Members of Congress have already stated the US stands with Israel. The Israelis have top cover to wipe Gaza off the map.

 

Rep. Al Green and the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) should be working on a reparations bill.

 

Especially since Democrats are dead in the water on any other legislation over the next 4 years. They have plenty time on their hands. Make it productive.

Where should our elder brother be placed in history?

-As the "one congressman" who stood up against Trump during this turbulent period in American history?
-As a lone loon?
-As some ranting old man?
-As the one man brave enough to preserve our Republic?

Not sure how to read this one.

It probably depends on how many other Democrats follow his lead.

I'm also curious as to how much INTERNATIOAL attention is Greene's behavior getting.
When people around the world see what Trump is doing, do they notice that there is atleast one Black AfroAmerican government official who seems to always stand against him?
Or is he ignored because he's not White?

What I WILL agree with you definitely on is he should be working on  writing a Reparations Bill.
That will benefit us as FBA far more than simple removing Trump from office only to go back to the same ole "same ole".

I believe Rep. Al Green will occupy the same space in history as Rep. Joe Wilson who yelled "you lie!" at POTUS Obama back in 2009.

Democrats aren't following Rep. Green. The party seems to cracks in it with no real leadership.

 

Within the Democratic party, the old guard needs to fall back. The young pups need to stop barking at the wind and trying to go viral on social media.

 

There are several Democrats in the trenches who could emerge to right the ship. Remains to be seen whether or not they will seek higher offices.

The international community is shook by the US heading towards isolationism. 

 

Other countries are more worried about 1) being required to put up more money in their own defense and 2) losing free money the US pours into their economies.

 

Rep. Al Green will ultimately come across as an old man yelling at the clouds in his  crusade against POTUS OJ.

Exactly.  They will leave Rep. Al Green to his one man crusade going nowhere. 

 

As far as leadership goes, Rep. Pete Aguilar isn't Black or white but he's #3 Democrat in congress.
