In my ongoing quest for abbreviated wisdom,  I'm sometimes reminded of how golden silence is...

 

Well in today’s world wise men really need to speak more. Lunatics are getting all the attention.  

A wise one can't talk to a fool. Otherwise they cease being wise.

I am vacillating between be a Stoic and Nihilist. I have a hard time arguing with people because it is pointless. Most people don't question whether they may be mistaken.

Perhaps. But there are enough people who are life long learners who are open to new ideas and experiences i’m willing to question what they think they know.

Despite the way I post around here, I do practice silence at times.  😁😎

I think this parody of Buddhism is really about the effectiveness of choosing  silence as a response to the sound and fury of an idiot... 😶😉

Humanity has been what it is for thousands of years.

 

IMO,  individually, how we choose to live our lives, experiences gained and contributions made in making life better for others is the best we can do.😎
