Churches are busy between Christmas programs and holiday parties and services.

 

Christianity has shackled Black folks for hundreds of years. Their faith allows them to make it through this existence. 

 

Religion It is such an eentrenched part or life for so many people that the chain will probably never be broken. Not that believers want to be free.

Some say their faith in Christianity helped them make it through, other's say that that same faith was a detriment to the community.

That same "faith" prevented many of the men (or encouraged the women to DISCOURAGE the boys and men) from committing acts of desperation that would either have gotten the entire community killed....or free.

Right. Definitely a classic case of a blessing and a curse.

 

Many Black folks are better off than our ancestors. There's still progress to be made.

 

Maybe continued faith and prayers among the believers will lead the devils to have a change of heart.

 

Otherwise, n8gglets will continue to do the devil's bidding by pimping from the pulpit and enriching themselves.

Of course the Ethiopian Bible has a Book of Enoch while the skimpy European Bible just has a few passages about him.

 

 

And now for something completely different:

If God created the universe then didn't he have to know Einsteinian physics long before Einstein figured it out?

If you search the Bible for 'transla' you will find variations of the word 'translate' & three of them are associated with an Enoch character.

The Bible says:
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah...
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Suppose God "translated" Enoch through space and time via Einsteinian physics and set him down on Earth 2000 years later and he told everyone that his name was Melchizedek?

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

What does the Bible say about Mel? No Mother?

The author of Hebrews says that Melchizedek is "without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life."

{7:1} For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; {7:2} To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; {7:3} Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Taken literally, this would mean that Melchizedek is an eternal being.

Enoch would have been an adult popping in through a space-time transition. No need for a mother. He would not have a geneology. Not from any people who had lived through normal space-time for previous centuries.

Maybe God is not really mysterious, but just sneaky!

Actually, this is a pretty interesting observation.

Apparently some of our Black preachers are so good at pimping from the pulpit and taking advantage of people that a lot of White men have studied and taken notes.
A rather FAMOUS one who did this and took it to another level...........

 

People should take interest in the fact that the vast majority of Jim Jones' followers were BLACK.
.....despite the fact that he would routinely use the word "nigger" (with the hard "r") and talk about his homosexual engagements in his sermons!
