Pioneer1
Ofcourse Blacks were coming here since before Columbus. It was the Blacks (Moors) who showed the Spanish how to get here in the first place, lol. Infact, one of Columbus's ships (The Nina or Nino) was named after the Black man who sailed with him and helped him get here and back....Pedro Nino
Troy
They Came Before Columbus: The African Presence in Ancient America by Ivan Van Sertima is a very popular book on the website, making our bestsellers list 11 times. They Came Before Columbus reveals a compelling, dramatic, and superbly detailed documentation of the presence and legacy of Africans in ancient America. Examining navigation and shipbuilding; cultural analogies between Native Americans and Africans; the transportation of plants, animals, and textiles between the continents; and the diaries, journals, and oral accounts of the explorers themselves.
