“Despite her adversities [Aisha Hall] she has utilized her time wisely, using her pen and pad to change the urban fiction game. I admire her strength, wisdom and talent. She is definitely a stand out that is expected to come home and do big things!” —Jamila T. Davis

“I am currently incarcerated at Alderson Federal Prison Camp for Women. I'm 31 years old and I'm serving a 10 year+ sentence for wire fraud. I was into the private commodities and gold brokering business prior to this situation. I've done about 6 years and I'll be home in the next couple of years. Since I've been in prison, I've written 8 novels. I've published 2 and the rest are in the process of being published. I'm serious about change done to this country's justice system. The DOJ from the local police up to the federal court system is out of control and this is definitely a new form of slavery. I was born and raised in New York, so I've seen my share of corruption and violence.” Convicts Soapbox
