  2. I ignore irrelevant questions and comments. Water seems it's on level. So I just communicate with people I feel are on my level or can think of see past what they see. @aka Contrarian
  3. I am practicing stoicism but I am leaning towards nihilism. The only thing I believe is symbolism and numbers reveal the Truth. At the moment the only things I possess are memorabilia and knowledge about time.
  4. I was watching this documentary last night - and the filmmaker mentioned said “this is the way of all true masters!” In short, “acceptance” and keep it moving. In fact, this is also Tai Chi so not to let your energy work against you. Thank you! I was letting the world get to me today - and instead of just chilling - I stressed myself out. I needed to read, “who gives a damn” to chill out!
  5. I hadn't noticed it but your photo looks like a circuit. Your left foot is taking in energy. Your left arm is a closed loop and you right hand is giving the energy to the tree. We take in energy with out left hand a give it out with our right hand.
  6. Yesterday
  7. I used to live with my Aunt. I had a crystal ball on my nightstand . I used to hold it as well and try to see images in it. One day my Aunt moved it. On that day we had a few telepathic connections. Freaked her out, she said she wouldn't touch it again. Some years back I went to a group discussion. Two friends brought a friend of theirs. They thought she would like it and should meet me. We were in the same group. She didn't speak. Usually I stay and have a drink after the topical discussion. And have a chat with the other members. However this time a friend was playing music so I left. As I am walking down the street I felt impelled to go back. As I am walking back I walked through three portals . One was a square, one was a triangle and one was a square. I saw them in my mind and then they expanded and I walked through them. Each time I felt different. When I got back I sat next to the women my friends brought with them. She told me later that I read her mind twice , it freaked her out and she didn't talk to me. I also was able to pick up an image from one of the friends who bought her. She told me later that she had felt unsettled from energy before I came into the group . She noticed it stopped when I left. Then she started to feel the energy again and when I walked in she new it was me. I noticed her and the thought popped into my head she's too young. I played a song called Love is Alive. She said yes it is as I got off the bus . We met up five years later. She gave me a time I told her the exact time we would meet. She thought no way, it doesn't take that long to get there, Del is just doing his number thing. Turns out she missed her stop. When she got off the train there was a clock. The time was exactly what I said down to to the second. We realised we liked each other. A few months later I went to visit her. We hit it off and ended up having a daughter. I have been interested in the esoteric since I was a preteen. I knew a few psychics, that were the real deal. A few witches and one wizard. So you are not crazy. It is difficult to make sense of a reality that has limitations when those constrictions don't circumscribe you. The best psychic channeler told me not to doubt myself doubt the world. So I pass this on to you as well. I used to think the wizard was so far ahead of me . Since he could read auras and had studied hieroglyphics. One day he told me I was a wizard as well. I told him I knew. It took me a long time to realise that a lot of what I was seeking I already had it. I wasn't cognizant because the talents weren't expressed in the way I thought they would express themselves.
  8. @Mel HopkinsOf course you are correct. Pay me no mind. Just making a nuisance of myself by playing the "contrarian". I have this pesky habit of needling people so I can educe an intelligent rebuttal from them. It doesn't always work, but I can always depend on you to enlighten me. My exploration of existentialism has advanced into a flirtation with nihilism so I often find myself lapsing into a "who gives a damn" mode when it comes to this f**ked up world. I know that I know nothing.zzzzz
  9. You've presented the problem but what is the solution to this dilemma?
  10. If the committee chair recognized Rep. Crockett, she could ask questions or seek clarification about Oversight Chairman James Comer's ruling regarding Marjorie Taylor Greene's behavior. "I'm just curious, just to better understand your ruling," Crockett said. "If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody's bleach blond, bad-built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?" She asked a question about committee members' behavior while being as descriptive as possible to avoid confusion. Rep Jasmine Crockett never resorted to name-calling as MTG did when stating that Representative Sullivan's “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”. MTG was the only one out of place with that personal attack. #RobertRulesofOrder. Sometimes, you have to use the rules to get clarification. Bravo Rep Crockett!!! The House Oversight and Judiciary Committee still voted to advance resolutions that would hold AG Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for allegedly failing to comply with a subpoena to turn over audio recordings related to the classified documents cast against President Biden.
  11. I agree nationality or ethnicity would be irrelevant if not for those who choose to control what we believe. Belief is the second but most important component of creation..."Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve." - So if whoever can control what you believe, you will never achieve anything. In fact, many Black Americans believe the Egyptians who created the pyramids were European and not Black like Us... If they believe that, they will definitely not identify as discoverers of cosmology, mathematics, Astrology, Astronomy, just Like @ProfD said I'm so glad these two teen mathematicians ignored the "programming" and knew where they came from and what they could do as a result! This is Proof Positive that we are as young as we believe we are! Look at you shining! OMG, you're gorgeous and legendary at any age!
  12. Rep. Crockett soared like an eagle in her response to stupid azz Rep. MTG. I respect former FLOTUS Obama's statement in general. Black folks do enough of that already. However, Black folks cannot continue the non-violent and silent treatment every time racists come for us. We have to clap back. Only way bullies will learn.
  13. Yeah I heard about this and curiosity got the best of me. The whole situation was embarrassing. Marjorie Taylor Green Should have been immediately disciplined for the initial insult. It was childish and mean spirited. I’ll go as far and say it was raciest as I suspect there is no evidence of her disrespecting a white person like that. It is disheartening to know people like Green are elected and help craft our laws. Rep. Crockett’s response, while humorous, was also out of place. As former First Lady Obama said when they go low we go high.
  14. Well, I am happy they got him for this hate crime, but he should have been stopped long ago. I hope the mother has a full recovery. What a horror.
  15. Beautiful! My goodness you do not look your age. @aka Contrarian I have one of those relatives. My auntie is 91 years old. Shout out to your grandmother! Amazing! @ProfD
  16. @TroyI hope you are right. Thank you for your insightful analysis of America's current state of affairs. Whatever happens will have very little impact on me. It's quite possible I won't even be around when the next POTUS is elected. But I do have 8 great-grand children... And you know me, I don't really care whether or not America remains a united country. I can't imagine anyone wanting to continue being a countryman of the Fox News crowd who supports Trump. I have always, dating back to the 1950s, had an aversion to right wing Republicans, black ones in particular, so i am not an objective Independent. Progressive "woke" left wingers also get on my nerves. I remain a moderate liberal Democrat, and in order to avoid another hissy fit from Stefan, I am done commenting on this thread. Back to the peanut gallery. Whatever will be, will be. Whoever is "up there" controlling the action in this game of life must be having a really good laugh.
  17. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/05/20/bleach-blonde-bad-built-butch-body-crockett-trademark/73770813007/ While it could be viewed as a scene from a Mean Girls movie, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX) delivered the insult of the year at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) (GA). Rep. MTG made a comment about Rep. Crockett's eyelashes getting in the way of her ability to read. A few minutes later, Rep. Crockett crushed it when she asked a question that included the alliterative bleach blonde bad built butch body in reference to Rep. MTG. As someone who has a strong appreciation for comedy in general and the ghetto version of it (Jonin' (DC slang) or dozens), Rep. Crockett delivered a perfect 10 if it was insult gymnastics. Surely, our elected officials should be doing more than hurling insults at each other but if someone decides to go there, don't half step. Word is Rep. Crockett has already trademarked the zinger and ordered swag containing it. I approve the move.
  18. Last week
  19. Wow, thank you for this post. It was so interesting and informative to read. I'm not that familiar with AI, but I see that it's getting more and more serious part of our life, so I think it's the time
  20. We lived through one Trump presidency. I'm not very concerned about another. Based upon my gut, a second Trump presidency seems unlikely. The media's collective opinion, based upon years of experience is no better than mine... I called the first Trump presidency. The only wild card is that I have no clue what the impact of the gerrymandering over the past 4 years will be. Can Trump loose the popular vote by 3, 4, or 5 million votes and still win the office? I was talking about people of all races. But you know the trope; when white American catches a cold... We have a great many things to be concerned with that transcend race. Abortion laws hit poor people the hardest. The impact on education as a result of the Covid Pandenic can begin to be calculated (those chickens will come home to roost) -- again poor people hit the hardest here too. Inflation despite what the numbers and talking heads say is WAY up in every city I've visited and lived in. The cost of living in suburban Tampa has increased dramatically since I purchased a home here everything is noticeably more expensive. We have TikTok and inexpensive strong weed, so the masses are largely placated. I don't think it is a "perception" on every measure the matters the comparison is apropos. I have faith that our government will not allow Trump to become the dictator of America. Pence was just one example. Trump picked Pence for a reason and Pence stood firm when it mattered most and so did many other republicans. I think Pence deserved a medal and Trump should have been tried for treason. @aka Contrarian we live in different information silos. I suspect you are exposed to far more Trump hysteria than I am, so you are much more of an alarmist on him than I. We should be more concerned about so many guns in the hands of the public, the wealthy people (and corps) who don't come close to paying their fair share of taxes, and out impact on climate change to start.
  21. @Troy I'm curious. Considering the very real possibility that Trump regains the presidency, how do you figure the future looks good for the black race? And what black folks are you talking about since you subsequently say that things will be worse for the middle and lower classes?? And how long do you think your perception of this being a Gilded Age will last with the chance of America being ruled by a despotic dictator like Trump who many predict will usher in a fascistic theocratic government? Even if Trump loses, America will remain deeply divided and turmoil will be rampant. Imo.
  22. Right. There's no shortage of evidence that driving while Black is a very real thing. We should already know how to play the compliance game in the moment. Live to see another day. Fight the ticket in court. Protest abuse of laws and authority. Put attorney Ben Crump to work filing lawsuits against jurisdictions that abuse laws and authority.

  25. Kerner commission

done in 1968 at the request of lyndon b johnson who asked for truth. Discovered whites are the problem in the usa and discovered every single institution in the usa needed to be remodeled. And was praised by MArtin Luther King jr as a worthy report, before he died.

The tragedy of the Kerner commission it is the only report from the federal government done by mostly whites, that after assessing the usa , came with one conclusion phenotypical relations. Whites are the problem. the telling thing is after all the evidence from 1968 to today that whites are the problem for blacks in the usa , you have more blacks than ever before saying whites aren't the problem.

  26. @Veronica G. Henry, thanks for sharing information about your upcoming book with us!
  27. I’ve been stopped countless times for speeding over the years but much less in recent years. My Florida state drivers license actually says “safe driver,” but there was a time I was in a high-risk pool and my insurance was higher that my car. The last speeding ticket I got I was doing 74 and a 55. The ticket was $700, it was in some shitty town in the middle of nowhere in South Carolina. the officer said he could throw me in jail and actually would not let me drive the car away. Fortunately, my ex-wife was with me and she drove the car. this past weekend in Palm Coast, Florida I was stopped for doing 52 and a 35. I didn’t realize I was speeding. I was in the flow of traffic. The officer asked me when the last time I was stopped for speeding. I said I didn’t know, she asked was it last month last year? I said no it’s been years. I was carrying out of date registration documents, but the car is registered and everything else was fine. The office came back told me the expired registration was $160 and the speeding ticket was 250 but she said she would give me a warning this time and sent me on my way. Like I said, I’ve been pulled over a lot sometimes I’m completely innocent and I’ve been treated badly and the other times I was completely wrong and was treated with respect and kindness. I relate countless stories. From my perspective driving while Black is really a thing. But what I can say is that does not seem to be a correlation between the north and the south offices are individuals and behave as such. My only advice would be to comply. Don’t curse. at an officer of the law maintain your composure. telling a trooper “get out my damn way” is not gonna work. It is just stupid to do that. as far as the question at hand, I think the future for Black people is relatively good again this is relative to prior years. However, I think the country as a whole poor and middle-class people in general will be worse off. We are in the midst of a new Gilded Age. The only difference is that the poorest of the poor today are far better off than they were 100 years ago.
