  1. The Universe seems to be in some kind of a transition. The unexpected is intruding itself upon the world. That's why Trump is successfully polluting the atmosphere and America is being drawn into a vortex of change. There's no contrived conspiracy; just occurrences following a course. No right or wrong; only opposites. Life is inexorably unfolding, and things are shifting because change is inevitable, Here on earth change is aided and abetted by the lure of computerized technology. I don't think Mankind has any control over how society is evolving. It's simply being swept along. I, myself, am caught up in a sphere where everything is out of kilter. It's like unseen forces are toying with me. As an example, Mel's on point response to the above posts by Troy and "non American black man", has disappeared...
  2. Wow! That's a lot of valuable information! At this time I only have one generic website. I'm starting to get the sense that maybe I should create at least one other that is dedicated to just my books and other publications. I do use WordPress. That's all I've ever known but it is complicated and trolling through the plugins to find the right functionality has been a steep learning curve. I still haven't learned how to monetize the site with ads and affiliate marketing because I'm so adamant about keeping everything Black. I just recently signed up with Instagram but have not used it at all. I dislike FB immensely so with Instagram being associated with it, I have put more effort into learning how to use Twitter instead. I will have to go back in to Instagram and see what the possibilities are. I use MailChimp as well for the RSS feed when new blog articles are posted but I didn't know there was any kind of list builder in there. Something else to follow up on. Let me go back and look at my email contacts from my various online sources and accounts. This is something I have never done so I might need to take a step back and make sure I have done my best to utilize this resource. Once again, I truly appreciate your answering my questions. Your advice is very empowering! ✊
  3. @Del i recently crossed paths with a someone from my distant past, a guy who i could've possibly married. He was in amazinly good shape for his age, and when our eyes briefly locked, there was something there. Do you see anything in my future that could revolve around him?
  4. Nah, it wasn't worth the 1s and 0s used to post it. It just referred to the myopic view you and "guest non american black man" posted. I'm glad @Cynique 's voice of reason is in this thread. She always helps me remain on the path I'm meant to travel. I tend to forget I'm not here to correct anyone's beliefs. Or point out the ignorance. It's a knee-jerk reaction in response to protecting myself because "stupid" is contagious. As far as I know, there's only one species of HUMAN on the planet at this time. , Yes, it was there. @Cynique I removed it because I'm tired of validating "parking" in my psyche.
  5. I was dubbed a "Literary Expert" yesterday by the Wall Street Journal for recommending Parable for an article they published: “The 10 Books You’ll Want to Read This Spring” The WSJ asked literary experts to recommend new works coming this season. The results offer an especially cinematic selection. By Ellen Gamerman April 3, 2019 10:09 a.m. ET (I was able to read the article one time on my cell phone, but after that is was locked behind a paywall.)
