That is wrong though. Both genders should respect each other in relationships because it would build a better society. Also, even though the issue of slavery and White Supremacy is a reality and Black females were completely demoralized under this government, it does not mean that Black men have not disrespected Black women. In slavery, especially, Black men called 'Bucks' were encouraged to also rape Black females and this has absolutely affected us today negatively. This kind of disrespect that Black women have endured might be part of the reason some Black women have problems with relationships 'all around'. And regarding 'all White men', even though this may be hard to understand, nevertheless, there are other men, even white men, that view Black women as being attractive and worthy of building a loving relationship, merely because 'a real man is just that--a real man'. It's been my experience that a 'real man' will be attracted to females for various reasons, and a woman's race or color is a secondary issue. Attraction is initially a physical aspect and then other factors like a woman's culture and other attributes comes into awareness later. I think it is impossible to stop a Black man, White man, Hispanic man, etc. from seeing women from different cultures or ethnicities as being beautiful and the same goes for women.

@Pioneer1So you have a problem if high profile black women do what their black male counterparts do, which is to marry a white person. Puleeze. I, myself, am tired of the role model onus placed on successful Blacks. Kids should be able to look no further than their parents when seeking their role models. lf that fails, I advise using a little imagination and initiative and simply aspire to be the best you can be. Screw trying to be like someone famous. All famous people aren't paragons in private. And not all wanna-bes become gonna-bes. Those are the breaks. The same with that tired ol cliche about wanting to "see people who look like me" in every scenario. If you wanna see somebody who resembles you, then look in the damn mirror and keep on truckin'. Let's hear it for black men organizing vigilante groups to go up against individual acts of racist violence, brandishing their guns, and flexing their muscles to show how tough they are, making a bad situation worse as they try to take the law into their own hands! As I said before, I prefer her over Trump....however one of the things I don't like about Kamala achieving the highest office in the land is the image it gives Black girls. When you look at her, and that other SCOTUS Justice they just put on, it tells Black girls that if they want to to be successful and rise to the top....let go of them Black men and marry yourself a White man. Leave them loud mouthed ashy ass niccaz behind and get yourself a nice quiet zaddy with education (and preferably some money) who'll just stand by your side and smile as you achieve your dreams.

As ai mentioned, Black men are killing each other in the streets and going to prison for little or nothing. I'm suggesting that energy be redirected. Absolutely not. Africans are afraid of white folks. They would sell us out for less than a plane ticket. I don't think so. There's no shortage of Black men who have military training. Nor am I not suggesting that Black men start shooting random targets. Only the racists who kill our own. For example, that fella who shot up the Tops grocery store in NY. Back women and children would not come under attack if racists knew there would be a price to pay. There was a situation in a Chicago a few months ago where a few Hispanics beat up a Black child. They broke her nose. There's no shortage of gang-bangers in Chi-Town. They should have handled that situation. It would have sent a message. To mess with one of ours has consequences. The reason racists feel comfortable coming against black folks is because we haven't defended ourselves. The only negotiation tactic they understand is violence. Marching and protesting and vigils has only led to tired feet. It hasn't provided us with justice or peace.😎

But they're getting help from their brothers in America, England, Canada and other nations to pluck them eyes. Like Chevdove said, they are getting international support from other nations outside the region. Where is OUR "America" or "Germany" or "West" who would help us or come to our aid against these racists if we decided to do the same? Matter of fact.... Can we even count on EACHOTHER? What yall doing 'bout all dem killins in Chicago???" Chev Yes but, it would be good if it would be an act of war and not an act of Black men being killed off though. We need help from other countries too, like Africa or something. What if I told you that SOME of these Africans would not only NOT come to our aid, but would actually aid the RACISTS in trying to eliminate America's current Black population....hoping THEY would be able to come here and take the place? We are actually in a position to HELP OURSELVES if our people had the right mentality. Nobody is physically stopping us from joining these police departments and policing our own communities and rising in the ranks, except not having the desire to do so. Like I said earlier, Illinois has enough Black folks in it that no way JUST white men should have shown up at our sista's home. There should have been atleast one Black officer there. That alcoholic White man JOINED the police department so that he could do what he wanted to do. He wasn't recruited. The government didn't force him or any other White man to join and get the training....they WANTED to do it. The question is, why don't most Black men have that same desire? Is it my observation solely, or does [did] Sonya Massey, her daughter and her son have Native American traits? Not sure, but if that's the case....a lot of African women are part Native American too because I've seen a mighty lot of women from East and Central Africa who look just like her, lol. Same facial features, same slim build, etc..

This has been the contrast between the two political parties for for almost 2 decades now. The GOP pushes through legislation to satisfy their conservative agenda while in office. The Dems sit back and complain about what the obstructionists won't allow them to do. Case in point...Dems are still talking about reinstating Roe v Wade. Didn't bother to codify it under Clinton or Obama. Again, there's a reason that Dems appear to be in opposition to the GOP. The 1st time around, POTUS PJB won the election as a referendum on former POTUS Orange Julius. Unfortunately, POTUS PJB didn't do enough in catering to those swing voters to secure their votes again. Then, his mental and physical abilities started betraying him. The Dems should have held POTUS PJB to being a one-term solution. They should have started grooming his heir apparent 4 or more years ago. instead, I believe Dems put too much stock in trying to weaken former POTUS OJ enough to keep him from getting re-elected. Looks like Dems plan A backfired and they never even bothered to develop a plan B.😎

Thanks aka for responding to my post. Standing and fighting as a united front win or lose works for the Republican Right every time. Even when they lose a Presidential race they come together to obstruct the Democrat. They just might win again with a lying convicted fellow whose willing to flirt with authoritarianism. Too often Democrats are reactive and defensive due to media narratives, polling, and opposition from the Republican Right. They come off as weak and Standing for nothing while also being too divided. Biden was a fighter who did a lot of good for the country despite being old and slow all along. He was a likable and known quantity which may be especially important with independent swing voters needed to win the election. Kicking him out and going with Harris or anyone else poses a big risk. But I will vote for her.

@Kenneth I don't buy the idea that Dems should've stuck with Biden simply because you should fight on no matter what. You gotta know "when to hold 'em or when to fold 'em". Winless battles may be heroic but they're not victories. IMO, It didn't take the media or polls or right wing psychology to manipulate those calling for Biden to step down. Joe's demeanor spoke volumns. It was obvious to anyone who got past their emotions, that Joe is no longer up to speed. Age has taken its toll on him both mentally and physically. I also see no harm in an open. convention. Suppose Kamala doesn't succeed in earning the right to have the nomination handed to her. Defeating Trump is the prime objective. Not projecting a false unity. @ProfD I agree that the Dems have a big job trying to make Kamala palatable. Black men have been among her harshest critics. She has baggage the Retrumpicans are already poised to drag out. She better choose an impressive running mate. Those who I argue with accuse me of being too negative. I tell them that the media they are brainwashed by are motion pictures. They think everything is a conspiracy and that life is like a movie where the impossible happens and the good guys win or the bad guys devastate. Life can be very random. Luck is capricious. Reality is a bitch.

VP Harris told PM Netanyahu he needs to clean that situation up.
