Are you surprised? Maher has a HISTORY of saying sneaky and greasy shit that often betrays his real thoughts as a Conservative and racist. Many people think he's a Liberal but he actually makes it clear than he's a Libertarian. Libertarians are often described as Conservatives who like to smoke weed....lol. He routinely disparages Arabs and their culture and has been doing this since before 9/11. He also disparages and low key criticizes Black people and AfroAmerican culture from time to time. When Chris Rock did his famous stand-up routine where he detailed the difference between Black folks and "niggaz" and said a whole lot of shit that really SHOULD have been said....but said behind closed doors....a lot of racists White folks were getting erections! Finally, they were hearing what they wanted to hear and it was coming from a Black man and not them. Bill Maher was one of those people who thoroughly enjoyed Rock standing in front of the entire world and publicly criticizing own his people and would often ask, "Where is the Chris Rock for the Arab people?". ....obviously suggesting the need for an Arab to get on stage and publicly criticize HIS people down for what Maher thinks are dysfunctions in their culture.

Bill, who has been a regular critic of Trump, went on to remark that he found himself more comfortable around Trump than he was with a detached Obama, who himself, engaged in small talk with Trump at Jimmy Carter's funeral. What is it about Trump that makes other men lose their balls?? That smug, arrogsnt SOB Steve Bannon was among the guests on Maher' weekly TV show and he announced that there was no question that Trump would run and win another term in 2029. I don't even care anymore. Obviously Donald Trump siphons off too much of my concern. He and America deserve each other.

Right. Most women are totally fine with and attracted to alpha males. There is a movement that has been pushing the belief in toxic masculinity and acceptance of the p*ssification of men. Real men don't give it too much oxygen knowing that when sh8t goes sideways everyone will be looking at us to handle it. When that times comes, those who aren't on the frontlines, alpha women, snowflakes, power bottoms, etc., can sit on the sidelines cheerleading until the dust settles.🤣😎

Chev Exactly. Who is the leader? But even if there is a leader or some group that is heading this up, I wonder what do they represent. Great questions. Based on what I've observed.... A lot of the times the organizers of these protests are just as racist and closed minded as the people they're protesting against. You go to some of these anti-Capitalism meetings and you have a bunch of White men with beards and sometimes long hair who will argue with you and think they know everything and not respect your opinion.....just like the White Conservative or Capitalist. 2 different extremes on the opposite ends of the same racist frequency. Are the objectives made clearly understood? I don't think they are because they aren't being laid out. Apparently the only objective is to restore DEI to certain institutions; which in my opinion doesn't benefit AfroAmericans THAT much anyway. If I enjoy shopping at Target or getting my coffee from Starbucks, I'm not going to inconvenience myself for some "shot in the dark" useless boycott to show Trump how angry I am when he doesn't even care.

Yes, that baton has to be something solid that the runners can get a good grip on. As we know, passing that baton successfully is the hardest part of a relay race. The American 4×100 men's team of brothas missed out on an Olympic gold medal because they screwed up passing the baton. Yes, a couple of my relatives also chimed in and they ran track. One of my in-laws, was slated to go to the Olympics when it was supposed to be held in Atlanta years back and he ran on the relay team. He said that those batons are made of metal and even though they are hollow, they are still solid. I too have not watched it again recently, but I think that it was said several times that it was a medical diagnosis. IMO the junior was running very close to the senior and she was close enough to hit that junior hard enough to the point that she abruptly ended her race and fell down. I hope though that the two girls will make peace between the two of them and this does not go any farther. It would be a shame if it ended up in court.

I haven't changed oil in my vehicles in decades. It is more cost effective to me letting the shop handle it. That's the point I was making with regard to things we can do ourselves but cheaper to outsource. Changing smoke detector batteries is an easier task. I change mine. But, I can see folks paying someone else to do it in the circumstance I laid out up thread.😎

It isn't the only way , but is one way. I might have mentioned this to ProfD a few days ago but we were talking about Scandanavian countries and he mentioned how peaceful and progressive they were as compared to the United States and how they don't spend so much money on their militaries. My point was they can live in that type of peace because the United States is protecting them, however another interesting thing about those Scandinavian nations like Sweden and Finland is that they are MORE egalitarian than the United States. Women have far more power and independence there than they do in other parts of the Western world. I believe the reasons is....even Caucasians know and understand that an egalitarian society where women share the power is inherently BETTER in the long run...and they preserve those societies as ideal. However Sweden and Finland and Norway are very homogeneous and the vast majority of it's citizens are White and so they don't mind allowing their women equal power as long as they know that there are no people (especially men) of color around to pull them away. As Sweden and Denmark begin to bring in more immigrants from the Middle East and Africa....it's going to become more Conservative and the sexism and traditionalism will increase as White men seek more control over their women to keep them from African and Arab men.
