  1. Correct. VGQ. You know the dealy-o.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. No, I don't have a problem voting against someone who wants to take the country down a rathole. I'm just wondering how that candidate became a choice in the 1st place. Surely, there are more qualified folks in the US.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  3. @Troy, agreed on all accounts. The country will decide next month whether or not it's ready for 1st female POTUS of Asian-Indian descent.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. It's a sad state of affairs when our POTUS election comes down to voting against a candidate instead of electing someone who will most effectively lead the country.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. https://www.cornelwest2024.com/ballotaccess According to the website, Dr. West is on the ballot in 15 states, write-in (23), no-write in (8) and pending (3). Dr. West has chosen Dr. Melina Abdullah as VP running mate. Theirs is probably the 1st ticket with two Ph.Ds on it.๐Ÿ˜ Of course, under the 2-party system Dem and GOP, Dr. West's campaign gets little or no media coverage. Remains to be seen if Dr. West will continue his aspirations by running for another political office. He could also start a non-profit. Regardless, I'd imagine Dr. West will continue to lecture and advocate for the poor and working class.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. Cancer is thousands of years old. Same goes for other incurable diseases. Man didn't make them. The Supreme Being created diseases too. Programmed humans such that one way or another most humans won't live to be 100 years old. Magic contracted HIV in the 1980s. He had enough money to get treatments that may have been experimental at the time. Eventually, scientists came up with drugs that prevented HIV from becoming full blown AIDs. Nowadays, there are drugs that prevent folks from contracting HIV. Still, there's supposedly no cure for HIV. Money in maintenance. Most types of cancer cannot be prevented. Same goes for other incurable diseases. Wealthy people die from incurable diseases too. Nobody is exempt. Humans do feed information into AI. However, no one human can digest everything we know in terms of data. But, a computer can run millions of permutations based on data input to compile different scenarios that humans may not have considered. AI is still just another tool that could make humans more efficient. It has been said that other folks have come up with cures for diseases but they haven't been *allowed* to bring to market. Even if these cures existed, wealthy people would be on the 1st thing smoking to get treatment instead of making funeral arrangements.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  7. Absolutely. Black shouldn't *trust* any of them folks. They may not like it but they'll do whatever it takes to get his money. ๐Ÿ˜ I certainly don't get my info from dudes on the internet. I'm referring to real life folks I know personally.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. Black folks have been making moves post-integration. Unfortunately, whatever we come up with gets stolen before we can codify, monopolize and capitalize on it.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. According to what you believe, I can see why you chose FDR as favorite POTUS.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  10. AI is infiltrating the arts too. As a creative person, I will never ask AI to generate my music. Every time, I'd much rather sit down at the piano and bang it out myself. That is the fun and magic of being a musician.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. Black men with means can travel and do their thing without getting jammed up one way or another. Again, it's usually when a rich Black man p*sses off white supremacists that he has *problems* with them. White folks will let Black folks believe they can do the same things as them until it's time to call in the markers. Black people should never think or believe that any amount of money frees them from the system of racism white supremacy.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  12. @Pioneer1, Garrett Morgan, a Black man invented the gas mask.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  13. Correct. Humans have been conditioned to make the compromise of being comfortable instead of cured. Supposedly, there's no cure for cancer. Researching it has not produced any results yet. No amount of money solves ALS or any other debilitating disease. No cure. Medication. Saving money is one way of accumulating it. But, the objective of having money is being able to afford taking care of needs as they arise. Not needing anything makes it moot. Treatment and best care is the most people can expect especially when it comes to incurable diseases. To date, there's not one human walking around with an artificially generated organ (lung, liver, kidney, heart, etc.). Weird science project at best. Nothing curative for humans. The technology isn't there yet. AI may be able to compile enough information to fill in the blanks of human knowledge and understanding. Sure. Regardless of whether it's existing technology or future, always follow the money. It's not in the cure. Maintenance.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. That's one aspect of technological advancement. There are many examples of how technology improves the quality of life. It still has not cured any diseases. No money in solving problems. Human greed cares more about accumulating more money than anything else. Mental and physical health be d8mned. Medication will suffice. My 94-year old grandmother cares more about leaving her money in the bank than anything else. She's reluctant to spend it on her real needs. Surely, if someone is smart enough to use AI or any other technology to cure themselves, I'd imagine they will do it. Artificial limbs aren't generated as in grown. Prosthetics are manufactured kinda like robots. Remains to be seen if AI can figure out how certain animals can actually regrow an appendage and translate it to humans. Then, how long would it take.๐Ÿ˜ Otherwise, every living thing is born to die. Humans are no exception. We'll never be able to circumvent the inevitable.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. I know many brothas who bounce back and forth between those places. No issues whatsoever. Foreigners h8te arrogant Americans. It's mainly the white Americans who show up and treat their country like a garbage can or toilet. Otherwise, a rich Black man can get away with all kinds of sh8t as long as he doesn't p*ss off white folks. Women of every persuasion throw themselves at Black athletes and entertainers. It's the same thing for average Black men considering the number of interracial coupling we see here in the US. world. Regardless of race, the women do not hate Black men. It's the men in their culture who cannot stand us and who brainwash some of their women into hating us too. Yet, go to any Asian massage parlor and receive the same happy ending as anybody else. Wu-Tang nailed it with C.R.E.A.M. back in the day.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. Yep. If circumstance or situation can be traced back to an event. Smoking kills folks. We don't try to figure out which cigarette did it or whether it was 1st or 2nd hand smoke.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  17. Of course, I don't have a *favorite* US POTUS because none of them have been a *friend* to Black people. Every US POTUS has done whatever it took to maintain the system of white supremacy either through benign neglect or policy.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  18. @Pioneer1, natural disaster death toll numbers aren't broken down for the public by direct and indirect impact. Same goes for catastrophes. For example, a bridge collaspes. Crushed and cardiac arrest prople get counted together.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  19. Right. Diddy wouldn't be 1st or last rich person to engage in criminal activity. Considering the crimes Diddy's been accused of in the past, I'm thinking he would have to be super stupid to have underage folks at those parties. @Pioneer1, there's plenty ways to have fun without it leading to drama or criminal charges. More money actually makes it easier if one is intelligent in how they handle their business. For example, dudes like Diddy and R. Kelly have or had enough money to do their thing in countries that would have allowed it. Brazil or Thailand.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  20. I don't believe Diddy was stupid enough to be involved in that crime. Waiting for the trial. Diddy wasn't trying to be a Black activist or leader. I still think he po'd the wrong people. I'm looking forward to the trial because I don't believe Diddy was on some stein-shit.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  21. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/10/01/jimmy-carter-100-birthday-what-to-know/75188858007/ Former POTUS Carter turned 100 years old on October 1st. POTUS Carter is the oldest living Commander in Chief and only POTUS to reach 100 years old. It has been reported that POTUS Carter wants to live long enough to vote in the election next month. I don't imagine there's much to want upon reaching the century mark.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  22. Fun. Some people never grow up. No amount of money will change it. That requires maturity. Some folks consider *safe* to be boring. Some people make a lot of money in order to indulge in their idea of recreation and fun activities. Having a log of money leads some people to having a false sense of power and invincibility. No amount of downfall examples will stop people from believing they're on a higher plane.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  23. Hurricane Katrina death toll was very close to 1,400. So far, hurricane Helene has a death toll of 225 and counting. Helene still has a long way to go in order to surpasss Katrina in body count.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  24. @Pioneer1, great questions. We don't know what *good* AI will do. There is no money in curing diseases. Maintenance is the money-maker. The pharmaceutical industry was built on it. AI is a tool that could potentially be used to solve problems and improve quality of life. Most folks will use AI to produce goods and services faster in order to make money. Industries will use AI to reduce costs which means eliminating people from the workforce.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  25. Just like the public at large, the vast majority mentioned above aren't interested in the Twin Towers Affair. The annual commemoration is good enough.๐Ÿ˜Ž
