It's a mystery to me why anybody would even give credence to black supremist Elijah Muhammad's unscientific explanations about "who-came-from-what" theories that are on a par with biblical mythology. At least the theory advanced by black sociologist, Frances Cress Welsing, refers to a proven scientific phenomenon that has to do with spontaneous mutation, a transformation that occurs in all forms of life wherein a radical change from the norm suddenly erupts out of nowhere and starts to replicate itself. Welsing's simple explanation for the Caucasian species is that they mutated from the original humanoid apes and were driven off from their tribe, left to wander into the mountains, eventually increasing their numbers, becoming a new "variety", ( a term which an English scientist originated, and would later replace with the word "race", while assuring that the 2 words were interchangeable). Neil de Gras Tyson, brilliant black physicist, asserts that species don't evolve, but that those which don't adjust to their environment simply die, while the type that do adjust to their environment survive, concluding that it's not about superioriority, and that the superficial differences between "the fittest" who do survive in their environment - are just incidental. All of this other chest-beating is simply mankind being mankind, immersed in a playground mentality, with different groups sticking their tongues out at each other, chanting: "nan-na-nan-na-nan-nan" we're better than you are!" See how simple that is?😵 In the present, I would facetiously remark that where environment adjustment is concerned, black varieties seem to navigate easily in the urban jungles, while white varieties are more adaptable to mountainous sky scrapers, these differences reflecting their positions in the world at large. 😝 And so it goes... zzzzzzzzzz

True. It is in full sway already and I have a love-hate relationship with it.

As much as some are trying to perpetuate the skill of cursive penmanship, it is slowly sinking below the horizon of modern day communication and will soon become a lost art, I fear. Whatever. At the week-end BAFATAs award show, which is the British equivalent of America's Academy Awards, somebody in the audience yelled out "nigger" when Michael B. Jordan and Deroy Lindo, stars of best picture nominee, "SINNERS", appeared on stage to announce the winner in one of the other categories. Michael didn't slap the offender who, it was later reported, claimed to have Tourettes Syndrome, and after a brief pause, the show went on... That's a hard act to follow, but the Oscars award show will be televised March 15th in America - and we shall see. Stay tuned... 😗

Chicago and the nation are mourning the passing of legendary civil rights activist, Jesse Jackson. Although the family's request for him to lie in state at the Capitol rotunda was denied, his casket will be trotted out at 4 different venues in Chi-Town and DC, and his South Carolina birthplace. Why waste time on theories at all when the only proof is what exists today, - manifestations wherein each group thinks it's better than the other, a mindset that is the one thing they all have in common. Something which will eventually prove to be their downfall.

@umbrarchist"we" is the operative word here, and there is no black "we" when it comes to exploring all of these familiar sources; only bunches of us, them, and they. By now it should be obvious that when it comes to thinking, Black Americans have just become too independent for their own good.

In other words, alternate theories; ones whose merits are more aligned with your beliefs. Sounds like a typical case of the kind of approach, ADOs reject when it comes to Afro Americans doing their version of revisionist history.

What is the alternate theory to the origin of species that "sensible" black laymen dispute, and prove Darwin to be wrong about?

To me, all this could be a sign that black people are gradually being absorbed into the mainstream, moving away from group thinking, embracing personal philosophies that determine what segment of the population they most relate to. Having repeatedly failed at becoming a unified entity, like members of white ethnic groups, they will fragment and gravitate to what best serves their individual interests rather than their national origin. In the future, beginning with the Gen Alphas, Blacks and Whites and Browns and Yellows and LGBTQs will merge into a new species and - will all live happily ever after in an AI Generated America. 😬 Have a good day.

I wish Tesa had ended her above quote attributed to "aka Contrarian" at the word "mediocre", because I didn't say any of what followed that word, which was a commentary that amounted to observations which were not my mine, and an opinion that I do not hold about a subject I have no knowledge of. 🤫 Is she an AI creation??

Wow! These dissertations so enlightened me when it came to the existence of the different sects of Blackness whose existence I have, heretofore, been completely ignorant about! Finding a niche with those whose opinions I share on many issues was exhilarating, leaving me, at age 92, astounded to learn of the actual existence of an official movement I could identify with in many areas of thought, like slave descendants having their own unique culture and immigrant Blacks being my personal idea of black carpetbaggers - and a cynicism about the pseudo African affectations of certain black zealots who make claim to everything African and attribute everything everywhere as beimg black in origin, citing skewed history as their source. Not to mention exposing the dysfunctional compensation that takes the form of a black male machismo that is laced with misogny and homophobia. Still, I'm not totally captivated by the siren song of the ADOs, having never been an enthusiast of Reparations, and any taint of this group being "MAGA lite" inhibits my formal commitment to their doctrine. My gut always instinctively recoils at any hint of Conservative right wing white supremacy. In any case, at this stage of my existence, I don't have to make a decision or a choice about such matters, and I remain a spectator, ever aware of how Society evolves, inevitably subjected to the changes that Time brings - changes that I, in all probability, won't be around to witness... 😏

@Troyyes, I remember Diana Sands quite well She first gained fame by playing Sidney Poitier's sister in "Raisin in the Sun," which was based on the play by Lorraine Hansberry. Lorraine and Diana were friends, and both tragically died in their 30s, victims of cancer.
