  1. I'm rather surpised at how duplicitous you are, Pioneer. But, then, you do have to try and save face. Just for the record, I didn't remove an entire post. I deleted a sentence and 2 words. Your little mind games are a laughable testament to what a loser you are. My funny bone is the only thing you stimulate. I think of you as my stooge.
  2. I stand by what I say and hear and have seen. When it was recently revealed that Hispanics were now the majority/minoirty in America they were referred to as the "brown" segment of America's popoulation. Why do you think white people feel so threatened?? The 2012 election referred to the Hispanic voting bloc as brown. President Obama and other politicians do, too. "Brown" is currently a word that is interchangeable with Hispanic when it comes to the public forum. BTW, my Mexican neighbors don't refer to themselves as "white". And you need to become an advocate for light-skinned slave descendants, because using your standards of blood lines and country of origin. they are not really black. Which is why your comparison of Wesley Snipes and Terrence Howard being comparable to Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez is a flawed one. Terrance Howard is an example of the one-drop rule that has no scientific validity. As for Armenians, they are an ethnicity. If they are a part of the population of Iran or Turkey or Syria they can be referred to as Arabs. You are not the final authority on this. In the anthropological community, with the new scietific data dealing with DNA and genomes, the jury is still out on the classification of the human species and the categories are constantly being revised and refined. This is why I am inclined to argue that there is no clear cut conclusion to be reached on this subject.
  3. Surnames are also a big clue as to how as person can be identified. "Lopez" is a common Hispanic last name. Kardasian is obviously an exotic name and for people who are up on such things, can be narrowed down to the Arab ethnicity. Also Hispanics are very proud of their culture and heritage and have no problem being classified as "brown" , choosing to distiguish themselves from Whites by referring to themselves as "Chicanos". A big deal was made over the recent supreme court appointee. Sonia Sotomayo for being the first Hispanic member of the court, her being a proud Puerto Rican, chosen by Obama to shore up the "brown" voting bloc for the Dems.
  4. Most of what you say is Greek to me, Troy. I never even knew that Google+ existed until you just now provided a link to. I use Google strictly to facilitate my acquiring information about subjects and people. My interest in FaceBook has, indeed, dwindled and I can't even remember how to access my old MySpace page. I also have grown very impatient with all of the annoying pop-up ads that intrude upon my net surfing. The internet, in general, is starting to overwhelm me wth its overload of useless data and more and more I am reverting back to TV and the print media to get my news.
  5. Actually, there is no such thing as a "white" race or "white" skin. These are categories concocted not by science, but by society. Caucasian is the more correct anthropological designation. Pioneer seems to be of the opinion that if he perceives somebody as "white", - they are white. That's his prerogative but he ain't no more an authority on the subject than any other layman. There's a big of difference between blond blue-eyed, porcelain-skinned Jennifer Aniston, and brunette, brown eyed, tawny-toned Jennifer Lopez. Pioneer has apparently decided that anybody who is not black is white. Wonder how he would classify Asians?
  6. Thanks, Troy, for injecting the voice of reason into this thread. Despite his denials about my "getting to him", Pioneer, is shaking in his boots, worried about his public relations gaffes getting his little "organization" into trouble by revealing to the politcally-correct world what a blatant, holier-than-thou homophobe he is. Reduced to bluff and bluster, he issued demands. I took pity on the poor ol guy and, to quell his fears, I deleted one short sentence and a couple of incriminating words so he could unwind from his fetal position and take his thumb out of his mouth. Pioneer knew better than to beg me to retract my entire critque of him and since he could not refute the truth, he cowardly resorted to lining it out and labling it as "garbage", hoping that it would all go away... No such luck.
  7. I suggest that you request an apology, and dispense with the conditions of it, Pioneer. You might also want to consider that anybody who maligns homosexuals the way you do should get used to be putting in the category with intolerant hypocrites. I do respect Troy and this is his domain. Any deletion of what you find offensive, would be to avoid any controversial repercussions for him. And deletion is the extent of the action I take. And who gives a damn whether you engage in casual communication with me????????
  8. I don't respond to incomplete quotes. And I really couldn't care less about what rationale you'll come up with to justify your fuzzy thinking. You naked? As usual, "amusing" is the word that comes to mind. No, wait. "Hilarious".
  9. Anyybody who gives such an inadequate accounting of himself in response to being outed for what he is, has no chance of getting an apology from me. I will concede that the white racists would be just as offended as you are by the comparison between you and them.
  10. I put "race" in quotes. In America, the Hispanic demograph is referred to as "brown", just as Afro-Americans of all complexions are referred to as "black". The terms "brown" and "black" are used to distinguish these groups from the white population. So spare me your desperate nit-pickin and going off on tangents about variations in skin color. All your attempts at trying to make yourself sound intelligent just expose you for what you are., Pioneer. A pathetic wanna-be know it all.
  11. Surely you are not denying that you believe "god" is the source of everything, Pioneer. When it comes to the concept of morality, you take on the role of someone's whose opinions and assertions about it are "infallible", - as in "divine". You find me cranky? That's funny. I find you insufferably amusing because you are so self-important. You remind me of the tale of the deluded emperor who paraded around naked, believing he was dressed in fine new robes. None of his lackeys told him he was actually nude because they didn't want to get in trouble their "fearless leader".
  12. LMAO. Really gotcha, didn't I? Get outta here. Apologize for what? For laughing at the deluded egoism that in the throes of denial convinces you to believe that you win arguments against me?? The choir you preach to is not the entire congregation. As usual, in an attempt to do damage control, you advance an irrelevant argument to deflect the truth about yourself. I'm not comparing Gays to Blacks, I'm comparing you to White Supremists because your blanket condemnation of a group of people is biased, prejudiced, and lacking in humanity. Your desperate tirade in defense of your homophobia cannot mask this. Or does your mounting a soap box and spewing all the old, familiar, patented arguments denying a comparison between the gay struggle and the black one, absolve you from being a narrow-minded, self-righteous, polygamy-advocate who is the epitome of the pot calling the kettle black, - on more than one issue. Anything that supports your warped mysogyny is considered moral in your thinly-disguised right-wing conservative myopic view. (You act like anal sex is restricted to Gays. And is a vagina or a penis or a nipple designed for the tongue of hetereosexual lovers??? Boy, i bet you're a dud in the bed.) You take yourself very seriously, Pioneer. But you I find you a big joke
  13. Pioneer, as much as you like to think that you speak for Kim and Jenny-from-the-block, I'd be willing to bet that that on the census neither one of them checked "Caucasian" when it came to their "race". And where do you get the idea that Black people are trying to "claim" Kim and Jen?? You're the "great arbitrator" attempting to divest them of their ethnicity by "whitewashing" them. Jennifer falls under the Hispanic (brown) banner and they are who claim her. With her Turkish roots, Kim has the option to be referred to as an Arab, a group who could legitimately claim her if they so choose. You're so busy chiding poor unsophisticated people for not knowing what's considered "white" outside of America that you seem to overlook that white people determine who is considered white. And it ain't HIspanics and Arabs. On the basis of the fact that Kim is the star of a highly-publicized sex tape featuring her well hung black boyfriend at the time, and considering that Jennifer kicked Puffy to the curb because his involvement with the shooting war between east coast and west coast rappers was bad for her career, what Blacks do claim is that these 2 celebs ain't nothin but "high-class" ho's and bitches.
  14. Comparing guys not succumbing to drugs and crime, to guys not wearing eyeliner and frilly clothes and long curly hair is like comparing apples to oranges. The fact of the matter is, that dudes didn't emulate Prince's persona because they were simply straight, not especially strong. Peer pressure and fads originate within groups and are not a form of social engineering. Men already use cosmetic products and cologne, and wear earrings and black nail polish and get manicures and pedicures. They also have their eyebrows trimmed and body hair removed. Yes, I am surprised that anybody as homophobic as you would not have a problem with men abandoning their macho facades.
  15. It ain't my fault if you can't figure things out, Dummy. Spontaneity and serendipity and ephiphany all factor in the the self discovery process that spawns the spirit that is the unique essence of the individual. In the words of Descartes: "Cogito ergo sum." I think therefore I am. The problem with you, Pioneer is that you not only believe in god but you believe you're his surrogate. Everything that you approve of and agree with is uttered with the deluded authority that you are voicing god's thoughts and wishes. You think your concepts of morality and pseudo science and psycho babble are god inspired. It apparently doesn't occur to you that you dont know any more about god than anyone else. I don't think you can bring yourself to deal with the idea that you may have it all wrong. The fallen angel, referred to as Lucifer in the scriptures, is who rules over the place referred to as "hell" in the Western church tradition.
  16. Get real, Pioneer. Kim(check out my sex tape) Kardasian and Jennifer (dig my new boy toy) Lopez ain't white and aren't considered to be so and don't identify themselves as such. Kim is Armenian and Jennifer is Puerto Rican, an ethnicity that even other Hispanics look down on. Don't nobody care if these 2 skanks hook up with black men. The pop media doesn't have to sabotage these relationships. Kanye and Puffy, themselves, lose interest and move on. Yeah, Troy, every group is looking over its shoulder now. Paranoia fueled by the "us" and "them" mindset is rampant in the land. What Whites do to maintain their power and influence is what any other group would do if they were on top. And this includes Blacks. People act as tho Blacks would be magnanimous and considerate to Whites or other groups if we were in control. Nice guys finish last. And so do ignorant ones.
  17. Facts that you have skewed and misinterpreted to comply with your flawed opinions. There are people who could put your arguments to shame and unmask you as being a smug bigot who actually thinks that god is on his side. You keep denying you're religious but you certainly are dogmatic. And how can you be so blinded by how aligned your position is with white racist supremicists who think Blacks are genetically inferior human beings, handicapped by flawed physical traits and brain deficiencies and prone toward immoral and criminal tendencies. Especially since you're so obsessed with white society waging a campaign of genocide against Blacks. Implicit in your stance is that if you had your way, all homosexuals would be destroyed. It's waste of time arguing with you about this. In your quest to do what ever it is your organization is aspiring to do, your homophobia may come back to haunt you.
  18. If Prince didn't influence you into emulating his demeanor, why do you think he did this to other straight people. Pioneer? How Prince dressed and comported himself never caught on in the mainstream world. Prince's androgeny was a gimmick; a tease for his large gay following. I recently saw a abbreviated rolling Stones Concert on TV, and I was amused at the similar stage presence of Mick Jaegger and Prince. They are both mischievious strutting cocks who troll the stage and play to the audience. Back in the 80s heyday, with the advent of MTV and music videos, all the entertainers created caricatures of themsleves.Madonna, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, just to name a few. Prince is a product of his times. Much to his credit, his career proved to have longevity.
  19. Well, I'm glad you finally qualified your homophobia as being OPINION-based, Pioneer. Even if I do poke fun at Gays, I have taken on this onerous responsibility of defending them because nobody else has stepped up, and I recognize prejudiceness when I see and I am inclined to point it out. Bottom line, I believe that a person should be judged not on the color his skin - or sexual orientation, but "on the content of his character". This is the thinking that has relegated homosexuality to the politically-correct catgegory throughout most of the world. It's about being civil to fellow human beings and recognizing that they have a right to live their lives as they choose as long as doing so doesn't infringe on the rights of others. It's also about not imposing your sanctimonious religious beliefs on others. Who is to say what's moral and ethical in the perverse world we live in?? Yes, I am judging you on the content of your character because your self-righteous attitude reeks with arrogant pettiness. In your rebuttals to my arguments, Pioneer, you inadvertantly make my point that Gays are like everybody else in the general population; no better or worse. How they choose to make love is the only thing that distinguishes them from the rest. (Incidentally, Pedophilia is a psychological persuasion different from homosexuality, and is found in heterosexuals, homosexuals, men and women) What goes on behind closed doors between consenting adults is nobody's business. And it's not like heterosexuals don't engage in "freaky" or oral sex. If you reject "mutation" as a factor in racial differences - or sexual anamolies, to what do you attribute these variations? To Biblical fables? To Black Muslim mythology? Wooooo. Homosexual behavior has been detected in the animal kingdom by legitimate scientific studies. And I have seen male dogs mount each. Alley tom cats, too. It's obvious we are once again at an impasse, Pioneer. Nothing left to do but agree to disagree. But let's face it. Like it or not, Gays have emerged as a legitimate segment of our population. They are courted as a voting bloc and respected and recognized in the fields where they excell. Even Gay Pride parades attract city fathers and elected officials who show their support by riding in them. Unless you think that there is a diabolical conspiracy to turn unsuspecting white people into immoral black ones, you might want to re-think the idea of a surrepticious plan to turn the Black heterosexual community into an unethical Gay one. And for those of you worried about meterosexual males, you might want to consider that clothes and cosmetics have no gender. They are social constructs. The macho man image is equally superficial.
  20. Your explanation isn't any more simple than mine, Pioneer, It's just different. It figures you're trying to figure out my statement about spirituality. You can't get past any ideas but your own. The individual is the immediate source of his own spirit and a spiritual approach to life is an instinctive manisfestation of this, a matter of embracing one's own beliefs as opposed to the structured ones dictated by religion. Since you are so big on a supreme being who created everything, you might consider that this entity created people who think for themselves. (I have no idea what your last paragraph is in reference to.) We rarely reach common ground, Pioneer, but make no mistake about it, that on this subject, I find you as inconsistent and befuddled and subjective as you apparently find me. And, as always, an undercurrent of fear taints your remarks, - a fear of not believing in "god" because you fear the consequences if you don't. It's all about YOU.
  21. Prince had a large following of straight male fans. They didn't have a problem with his unique persona. He was - PRINCE! One of a kind. Just like Michael Jackson.
  22. I can't a believe you. Pioneer. What planet do you live on? Gays hold prominent and respected positions all walks of life, in all upper echelons of society! They are in high government positions, they are in academia, in religious denominations and the fields of science and technology; they are movers and shakers in the entertainment and movie industry, and high achievers in corporate America, and are now accepted in the military chain of command. They are no more immoral or unethical than anybody else! Their chosen lifestyle has nothing to do with their character, and the only people who feel this way are narrow-minded, holier than thou hypcrites and bigots. Homosexuality occurs across the board when it comes to ethnicities and this includes the Korean and Arab communiities who have their share of effeminate ones like any other nationality. Where Gays are concerned, I, like the majority of Americans polled, tolerate homosexuality. I'm not so sure that Homosexuals are not a 3rd sex, They've always been around and same sex attraction even occurs in the animal kingdom. Like the different races, they probably have their origin in mutations. In any case, I say: "live and let live". You, on the other hand, are judgmental. All your talk about God and Heaven and Hell reveal you to be nothing more than a closet Christian; certainly not a free-thinker. Where do you get the idea that God condemns homosexuality??? Your ambivalent stance when it comes to your own people continues to stir my ire. One minute Blacks are the salt of the earth, strong and special, and the next minute they are the scum of the earth dumb and guillible. You have all this maudlin sympathy for the llittle brutha in a doo rag, yet you harbor contempt for gay blacks who can't help being what they are but still manage to be productive members of society. And you still want to minimize the long term effects of slavery. Slavery was never big on preserving black family units and this influenced Blacks once they were free. The upper ranks of the caste system tended to emulate the traditions of their former masters while the lower ranks weren't so inclined. These attitudes never went away. Loss of jobs and the bad economy didn't effect family units that were in tact; hard times just made marriage difficult to afford, so fewer people wed. but this didn't stop women from having kids. Affirmative action benefited white women more than black people, because white women, too, had been discriminated against and once the doors were open, they were already qualified to take advantage of the new opportunities.
  23. Religion was designed to control the masses by explaining god in terms that "the great unwashed" could visualize since they had difficulty dealing with abstract ideas. This involved personifying him as a man instead of an unknown entity. You're "guilty" of doing this yourself. Moreover, you try and portray yourself as something other than an agnostic who thinks like millions of other people who describe themselves as spiritual.
  24. Obama is the captive of his office. Back in 2007 he spoke out against the Big Brother spectre of government invading our privacy on all levels, and promised to oppose this. Now, because it's supposedly in the national interest he has been cornered into defending this surveillance policy. Our "esteemed" president is the object of both the adoration and scorn that come with the territory, and is currently reduced to bearing the awesome responsibility of keeping the seat warm for the next puppet elected to maintain the agendas of corporate American and the military industrial complex. Rubbing controversial Attorney General, Eric Holder, in the faces of Republic senators and appointing the much maligned Susan Rice to a position that requires no senate confirmation are his current consolation prizes. His legacy will be a lack luster one but a few rewards await him. In the future, his wife can go back to shopping at Target, and he can resume his pick-up basketball games. So much for the experiment of a black presidency.
  25. Sign? Sing? I am assuming you are talking about Bieber's vocalizing and not his communicating with deaf people. Nobody but teen-aged girls take Justin seriously. Everybody else knows he's a flash in the pan that will soon go the way of all young pop idols. Or, - he might surprise his detractors by maturing into a legitimate performer ala Justin Timberlake. Show Biz is unpredictable. Bottom line, is that when it comes to music, one person's like is another one's dislike and altho different performers appeal to different audiences, the cream rises to the top. Which is to say that good music is good music no matter what its genre. I'm not a fan of Country music, but having been introduced to some of it via the tv music competition show, "The Voice", I have come to appreciate it a little more. I even like certain songs of the bubble gum genre by such pop princesses as Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, Pink and even, forgive me lord, - Taylor Swift, all of whom I 've heard singing their hits on various music award shows. I remain intrigued with rapper Lil Wayne, and R&B and Jazz and classical music have always been on my play list. But my preference are the ballads of the "American Song Book". That's because this is the music that enveloped me during the prime of my life. IMO, we should not restrict our selves but should mine for the gold to be found in the vast field of music, - the universal language Music is such a gift to our ears and emotions that we should be ever recepetive to what can spontaneously strikes a note in us.
