FAS 1. in which of the canonical Torah, i.e., the first 5 books of the Old Testament, does it describe Ham? Ham is mentioned in the early chapters of Genesis but it doesn't give a phenotypical description of him.....to my knowledge atleast. It only calls him "the youngest". Neither does the Talmud. I know the NOI came up with Pioneer 1's description, but nowhere in the Torah does it describe Ham as such. ????? The Nation of Islam doesn't mention Ham in it's teachings. And as far as my description of him, my official position is that Ham never existed in the first place. He was just a character in an allegory. The whole Ham, Shem and Japheth 'different race' fabrication is so asinine as to be solipsistic. I agree. Freedom = Oppression Peace = War Rich = Poor to making calls the families of the fallen, to streamlining the VA and approving increased military spending, and even visiting the battlefield in person. Again, if he had done his BEST to help them there wouldn't BE any "fallen" troops and there wouldn't be any battlefield for him to visit. You help them by bringing them back home, not shaking the ONE HAND they still have after the other one was blown off during battle. Visiting a wounded soldier in a war YOU sent him to is like a judge who sentences you to 3 life terms in prison with no possibility for parole, but comes to visit you once a year and holds your hand while you're crying........... O.W. The fact is obvious that Black culture is the nucleus for creativity in America; it's appropriated, borrowed, stolen and bartered. The question you must ask yourself is WHY they decided to orchestrate this particular stunt? The TIMING of it's revelation is questionable, but the TRUTH of it is not. If they NEVER included a Black writer or actor or director it wouldn't be wrong....because they don't have a duty or obligation to do so. The ONLY time Caucasians decided include more AfroAmericans into a particular event or institution is out of FEAR! Not fear of protest or criticism. They LOVE it when Negroes beg them for inclusion! But fear that WE will stop begging! And instead of begging them and fighting to be included.....decide to FORM OUR OWN institutions (in this case award events) show the world that what WE do will be much more impressive and the Oscars and Grammys ever was....and they KNOW it. So rather than see that happen, they'll pretend to be more inclusive in order to keep our people "on the plantation" so to speak. Our people should stop begging Caucasians for more seats at THEIR table and instead build our own table and enjoy a nice hefty plate of SOUL FOOD amongst ourselves. ....and watch THEM come sniffing around and start asking for a plate!

Plenty of credible news outlets and sources have reported this as a fact so there is no REAL argument about it. Troy I think we look at unity differently. I would like to see us unified on a global level -- yeah I know we'll never see this, but I think it is a worthy goal. When African immigrants started coming here decades ago we should have had well built thriving communities to welcome them to. If you allow a man to have sex with your daughter or sister that is one of the ultimate displays of trust and friendship.

And to a certain extent even GREED is good, because it's a good motivator. Troy It is because African has is the most genetically diverse population on Earth. Perhaps this is the case. There are African populations who are naturally very dark like those of South Sudan. And those who are naturally very light like the San people of southern Africa. I've heard there are more languages in sub-Saharan Africa than anywhere on the planet combined. Perhaps this "diversity" is a major reason why there is so much division among African people worldwide and such a lack of unity.

What church was that? The most prominent church in Harlem that I know of is Abyssinia Baptist. I think Calvin Butts used to be the pastor there for a long time.
