Personally, I’m Leary of much that is written in the Bible.  With the exception of a few passages conveyed in all the books, “666’ is not one them.  I’ve had the privilege of visiting the so-called tome to the Christ Jesus, several times and; read Arabic and Hebrew depictions of the Antichrist and second coming, as well as what is displayed museums in Israel; unless I missed something, and it is possible, there is no mention of 666 anywhere except various versions/interpretations of the Bible.  What’s said to be original pages of the Torah and Holy Quran is interesting, and required for anyone seeking honest information about these ideas.

Even the original books contradict/disagree with most of what’s in the Bible.

I believe I mentioned it before, if one is truly interested in understanding creation from a divine viewpoint, familiarity with ALL THREE BOOKS is necessary.

For instance, “man is born of three phases of darkness” depicted in Holy Quran as life inside the wound before birth according to a christian gynecologist whose name I can’t remember.

Yes, I am familiar with the three books you speak of and have done a lot of research about all of them and how the Tanakh ties into this as well. I am aware of the discrepancies with regards to the non-African Jews script that sparked a great conflict in the Middle East during the early MIddle Age perian and how they threatened the Original Jews when they threatened to desacrate the tomb of Aaron and his sons.

I studied how the Kione Greek language played a part in how the Septugint was translated about 200 years before the time of Julius Caesar, Augustus,... and Jesus.

I have studied about how the Masoretic Text began to be translated beginning the early period of the Middle Ages and how it was not completed until hundreds of years later just before the onset of the Crusades.

I sat at the table in a study group with an Islamic man, African American, for over a year and he shared his studies in a group session about the Koran. His take on this was that the Koran can not be solely relied upon for African American Islamic people and he believe the Bible should be apart of the study.

I am aware of the violent struggle that broke out during the MIddle Ages, early times between AD 400s and AD 600s because the Original Jews became outraged at the Torah and the addition of their script that included religious doctrines that was not apart of the Original Hebrew script that the Jews still had and were concentrated in present day IRAQ and EGYPT.

I am aware of what you speak of.

And as far ad the Book of Revelations mention of '666' that you said you did not see at the tomb of Jesus housed in the CHURCH OF THE SEPULCRE in the MIddle East today is not a big issue. A lot of the script that we see today was not bound at the time this CHURCH OF THE HOLY SEPULLCRE was built and the tomb of Jesus was placed for the many, many, many Europeans to travel on their MECCA to Jerusalem prior to the Crusades to visit the Holy Land.

Nevertheless, I did not just explain that script but I also reference other points that correlate to the prophecyo of '666' as well. But HEY, it is the essence of what I wrote that is also important, not whether or not you have seen it, though. The ARabic and Hebrew script today in the Middle EAst would definitely NOT reflect the Bible, based on my research. But, I'm looking forward to what you have to share as well.

The Caraite Jews [ie Karaite Jews] bonded with their relatives, the Islamic men and stormed across North Africa and the faulty script of the Torah was what sparked their rage anyway. This was the onset of the Arabic Movement that followed in the AD 600s. So the Koran is actually based upon the First Five Books of Moses, even though the Koran is not a direct translation. I am aware.

So if you are Leary of the Bible, you won't offend me, at all.

The mark of the beast is the mark of the man 666.

    Greetings.

I believe that this written prophecy about '666' is much deeper. I don't have the exact scriptures so I am paraphrasing; I done a lot of research on this and from I remember off hand is that the scriptures say, this number represents 'the number of a man' or something to that affect. All throughout the Bible, this scripture is confirming with others from Genesis up through Revelation. Many of the authors wrote about it all throughout time and 'the mystery' that has unfolded and now it is an 'unsealed mystery' to the point we should be able to understand it today. It is a very deep concept so, I just want to touch upon it briefly.

This number '666' correlates to 'a man' and he stems from what happened in 'the Garden of Eden' and with 'the Original Sin'. Because of this hated prophecy, came the Transatlantic Slave Trade Era. You see, this prophecy was maliciously pinned on the Black Africans and we were defined as being this number '666'. But it is only our persecution. Because of this prophecy, it became AMERICAN LAW and the descendants of slavery were actually defined as such. Contrary to the prepared statement by this government in their later attempt to cover up what they did--it has nothing to do with the voting system. YOU SEE, THIS NUMBER CAN ALSO BE EXPRESSED AS A FRACTION---TWO-THIRDS.

The number 666 is the same as saying TWO-THIRDS or 2/3rds. In slavery we became defined as 2/3rds human and this law stems from that prophecy maliciously pinned against Black Africa. But in truth, it is a number that applies to THE BEING present and written about in the Oringal sin. So to fast forward though,

This number correlates to A MAN and all throughout the Bible the GREAT ADVERSARY is defined as A MAN but indeed, his government is MATRIARCHAL and both of these concepts apply to this very number 666. This is why He hate the Priesthood and today, the law of homosexaulity is vital. This number is in reference to AN INTERSEXED BEING. Now upon saying this, it would take many volumes of books and written references well documented alredy, facts already confirmed, to bring out the real issue here and the scriptures written by the prophets/authors on the subject. But I will say this quickly, SCIENCE IS OR CAN BE AN OBSERVATION and it is also based on being repeated with accuracy over and over again. Therefore, the science of this type of 'being' htat did reproduce and continued to pass his dna on to the modern  world is in DNA proof and ... the Y HAPLOGROUP goes directly to the origin of African DNA; the Black 'African' man. So therefore, this whole world whether we are Black or White or other now, have this in our genes but it has been shall I say... 'watered down'. Another way to say this would be, if a man can produce a malefactor, then he has Black African DNA for sure; even if he is European man. Hint; That 'being' at some remote time has a mutated Y-chromosome and he could not, ---can not--- pass his Y-DNA on in reproduction to produce a viable malefactor. He can only produce a 'he-she' or 'a she'--get my understanding? So, today, scientist will ascribe a level based on certain factors such as the ANDROGEN LEVEL or etc. but the Bible defines an intersexed being as 'a man' because the Y-chromosome is still present; it just can't produce the male hormones to turn the gonads into a viable male organs that secret androgen. etc. etc. etc.....

The Y DNA of the modern hominid, is not 2/3rds but complete and melanin has something to do with this issue. Seratonin... the Penial gland... I tell you, I've done a lot of research on this subject, and I feel sorry for Black people who have rejected the Bible, because even though the translations have been tampered with and faulty throughout times, the truth is within those pages...

I believe what you say partly.

I believe that Revelation 13 is not in reference to White men, but it is in reference to White Supremacy and Colorism... of which can encompass anyone. I believe that the Western civilization, being that it has become very powerful on a global scale definitely shed light on a connection to this prophecy. But regarding 'Christianity'; it is not Christianity because this American system separated from it in 1776. As far as President Trump, I don't know what to think about his motives for our country.

Does this discussion  acknowledge or reject the idea that there is but one human race? I entertain the idea that all that goes on within the  homo sapiens ranks is nothing more than family conflict that has degenerated into sibling rivalry.  Once we get over the idea that  "good"  triumphs over "evil", and are able to attach significance to the idea that the strong prevail, we  can spare ourselves some frustration.   Life is not fair. It is, what it is...   We must each embark on our own journey and blaze our own trail. 🤪

    Greetings!

I agree with you mostly, however, can I add on another viewpoint?

It is refreshing and hopeful knowing that the strong prevail and it does relieve some frustration, but the other aspect that is frustrating is on a deeper level that you mentioned.

The evil aspect, IMHO, doesn't always come from our 'one human race' species. Some negativities do stem from our human race, but I've been doing some research, and even in regards to many scientiest, we are not representative of 'one human race' on this earth. I'm making this statement based on scientist findings on THE GENOME PROJECT and etc. Also the Mitochondrial Eve and etc. Even still though, as you have said, Good does triumph over evil no matter where evil stems from, I am hoping.

YES! I was just reading a story about the Moors in Britain and ultimately this was the outcome. According to the story, the Germans conquered the dark-skinned British {Moors) and took their land. It is what it is. The Germans conquered the "Blackamoors" and we have who we have Queen Elizabeth II - German in the house of Windsor.

The Blacks that lived in England before the Germanic tribes (Angles and Saxons) invaded and conquered them are not the same as the Moors.

The original Blacks of England (and Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) were there thousands of years B.C. and practiced a more "nature" religion.

The Moors were a LATER group of Africans who came after 700 AD and practiced Islam.

    Yes! I agree!

Troy may be looking forward to your research findings......lol.....but if it's THAT damn depressing you might want to keep it to yourself.

Or just private message it to Troy and let HIM wrangle with it...lol.

It's not like I'm saying "ignorance is bliss"....but sometimes NO news is GOOD news.

OK. lol. I get it. You're not interested.

Thank you for your opinion. And I will try to be as discreet as I can for what I do decide to post publicly and also,

I will consider your advice in sharing privately to allow Troy the chance to

    wrangle with it initially.

Anyway, I won't be offended if you choose not to read my research.

  7. lol. I hope it's not taken wrong to laugh but, I don't agree with all that Dr. Umar stands for either. Some of what he says fits into the exact description you give to the point, it made me laugh. On the surface, he offers comfort food, and sometimes comfort food can be bad for us.

But on a deeper, more histoical level, do I see this as being a reality. But let's not only look at the UK now, but on a global level.

Do you know about the history of Genghis Khan? I am just learning about this and applying it to my other research. Genghis Khans grandsons come from a Keraite mother [ie. KARAITE, meaning Black Israelite]. HIs four grandsons leveled the Keraite empire and the Islamic power and political structure. It was a full blown genocidal attempt on the Black men. The Mongol force swept west all the way to Palestine and then turned to Egypt, but they were stopped by a force much like them. So yes, I do believe that this bi-racial woman was a planned event due to a global issue on a large scale and not just to be divisive on a gender basis.

The ancient Persian empire do the same. The marriage to a Black woman became a positive aspect though, in this case. The Persians supported the cultures of many and they did not wish to destroy others in the quest to be the head. It is not the same in other governments though. But political and arranged marriages should not be taken for peace or just for love. In my opinion.

    • Thanks 1
  8. Well, yes I do. absolutely. Division is what has been done with great planning to organize this Big government, division on many levels. I definitely believe that GENDER DIVISION is a major tool used today just as it had been in the foundation making of America.

It has been effective. It has been very effective in the past. But no, I don't believe it was the first goal at all.

I believe this marriage is political though.

Maybe that London based African sister was not interested, but there were a lot of African-typed people that did put in their support for it.

  9. lol. I am giving your rebuke some thought. But for now, I still believe that the statements made by Kanye and Ben Carson are incredible and used with intent to harm for the benefit of this Western Civilization in the promotion of White America. Don't mean to sound like I have a poor Black college education or that I am rambling. I do have an HBCU education, but I did also do pretty well on national test; above average in Biology and NTE. I did put both my children through colleges. They have master's degrees in engineering; MIT and UM. So, again, I don't mean to sound stupid, but I given this some thought. I hope to read other's views and see if I will feel differently later.

[1] THE SUPPRESSION OF BLACK HISTORY IN EUROPE: Hidden Behind Mockery:
INTRODUCTION OF WORDS; ***BLACK NAMES***, From the History Pages of Eurasia.

    Turkey_Political.jpg

***A MAP OF TURKEY/ANATOLIA & parts of East Europe & the Middle East***

The meager amount of history about the Black African presence in Europe has not been apart of my formal education here in America, but nevertheless, there has been bits and pieces offered byway of various forums over the years. But based on my deeper research it has become amazingly obvious that there happens to be a wealth of hidden information about the dominant presence of many Black people who lived in Europe, not in some distant undatable time, but much more recent than we have been educated to grasp. Maybe part of the reason why Black African American descendants of slave have almost no idea of this kind of information stems from the kind of conflicts that did occur in Europe. Most of the names that identify the immense Black presence in Europe have systematically become derogatory and also, a lot of the violent conflict did include a religious basis too as well as Colorism. Today, we have been conditioned to steer almost completely away from the subject of religion and this too, was an effective method to BLACKOUT the Black African presence in Europe. Thankfully though, because Europe and our American educational system has done such a marvelous job in wiping out the incredible Black presence in Europe during major historical times through script manipulation and many other methods, albeit, today, we don’t have any connection to some of the terms that did become demeaning form of mockery. So now, perhaps through my research we may begin to open our spiritual eyes to whole truth about European history that affects us today. But however, my research has uncovered an immense amount of hidden truths that have been twisted and manipulated to the point that I wonder if it would take many centuries to unfold, maybe even a thousand years! It’s that much! The manner in which I have stumbled across some information was so unbelievable to me, in that I had never heard of it, that I became compelled to search more and more for confirmation and this process led me on a pathway that seems like a Byzantine plot! A BYZANTINE PLOT!—This phrase has become more and more of a reality in more than one aspect! Therefore, I will start with regards to this civilization, THE BYZANTINE SYSTME, as it has been well marked in time to a certain degree. I will use this civilization as a central point to introduce some very incredible words that place many distinct kinds of Black people back on the surface of many conflicts.

The more I research about European history and the more I see the kind of words that have been hidden that would show a better view of the past therefore, I am beginning to wonder about the welfare of the Black African world as a whole with regards to the true nature of racism in high places and intent to harm or worse. This would be the kind of research blocked even, from the internet globally, nevertheless, I am working to publish my research now. I now question other countries in their endeavors to be on friendly terms, not only with the elete sector of America, but African Americans as well. But will we have an opportunity in a classroom setting to get a full understanding of how our country relates to other countries and the Global interactions with other countries from a neutral aspect, or are we being spoon fed and misled on issues that could be detrimental to our presence as Black African-typed people? Let me quickly provide one shocking example in the form of a head scratching question: I knew about Iran, ancient Iran and the Middle East in connections with Africa in ancient times and further, but I never knew through a formal education that Sorghatani [sp?] was Black-African!? The mother of Ghengis Khan’s son and powerful grandsons, was a Black woman!? A Hebrew Israelite!? No wonder China trained Eritrea in military education during their civil conflict against Ethiopia!? LOL. WOW What history have we been missing over here! No wonder the Young Turks of today are passionate about some issues over here.

What kind of system do we live in that would deliberately strip human beings of their history and humanity due to the color of their skin or heritage!? It would not surprise me that many other Black African people today are knowledgeable of this kind of history that I have stumbled upon, nevertheless, I do share from the perspective of learning some of this information for the very first time as I can now place it on a time line and into a consecutive story format that makes sense.

So, the first of many, many words that I would like to introduce within context would be more complete in connection to other references that I will also share in the religious forum as its’ origin stems from that point of view in certain timespans. In Europe during the Medieval times, it was a common word but, it has been completely maligned and its’ true meaning suppressed. These ‘BLACK NAMES’ takes Black History into a whole new realm! My first aim would be to give a summarization of my findings and introduce tidbits about the subject, then by and by, I hope to return to add the more detailed references in the attempt to gradually unfold a process and pathway on a timeline in which these terms have been manipulated to wipe out the overwhelming Black African identity and presence all across Europe and Asia. I aim to show a deliberate White Movement that has occurred and still today occurring in which a process unfolds of taking names that identify and define Black African presence, ethnicity and people and putting a WHITE FACE or a LIGHT FACE to these Black descriptive names gradually and also changing and altering the root word in that overtime even Black people accept this form of MENTAL GENOCIDE OF BLACK AFRICA.

I don’t believe that we will completely understand our plight here in America without getting a better understanding of what happened in Europe leading up to the American Slave Trade System and Colonization. Even though we have been looking for our history and presence in the Motherland of Africa, I now believe we also need to look into what happened in the Eurasian continent more deeply to get a better view of our past and to also look at the other pathways our ancestors were led upon to bring us to this point today.

So the first word that I will share now that comes from the history pages of Eurasia would be PECHENEG. Overtime, this descriptive name that defined a dark skinned Black African typed people placed in history especially during the time of THE CRUSADES, was a common term. The real and whole truth behind this one word might be astounding should more research unfold. The deception laid out to hide the truth reveals that the history has definitely not been written by these people! In a nutshell, they became the spark that led to the CRUSADES in the Byzantine government. But, however, the PECHENEGS were also known by many other descriptive names that today, we do not consider as being a part of our vocabulary; but these words are very close to us than meets the eye at first glance. In short; here is a riddle, when you sit down to eat your THANKSGIVING TURKEY; consider the Pechenegs! They were indeed conquered by a Black-on-Black conflict on the order of the ancient well plotted Trojan War in the very land they did come to conquer initially. These Pechenegs did come to form a massive empire that stretched from all of today’s Turkey Anatolia and all the way to the east and mainly all of Mongolia, and it lasted for decades, centuries before they were conquered, slaughtered and driven into African Slave ports and African Slavery. And to better understand the timeline when they were overthrown, the BOOK OF DANIEL in his prophecy of the CRUSADE and THE BLACK DEATH PLAGUE may help to understand the exact dates such as in Chapter twelve he gave the dates of his vision based on a fixed point; AD 1256, AD 1290 and AD 1335. *

By the late AD 1400s and AD 1500s, another movement began to ‘GET THE INFIDELS OUT OF EUROPE’ began, and shortly thereafter came the Transatlantic Slave Trade. By the AD 1700s due to leaders like Napoleon, the mission was accomplished in Turkey, and ‘the Original Turks’ were mostly driven out of Turkey and Europe. But again, if this information should intrigue, then perhaps a deeper look will turn up much more shocking and hidden truths carefully intertwined amongst other rhetoric to confuse and deflect.

  11. After concentrating on some recent research, I have become thrown into depression as a result of this newfound information. So now, I hope to share it and by doing so, it may help me to get some peace. I am trying to get to a point that I can publish my findings but it is so challenging. Coming to this community though and reading and listening to other contributions in this area has helped me a lot.

Also, I just recently looked back at some links about some of the cases such as Trayvon Martin and Castile, and I coulda kicked myself... I became drawn into it and couldn't pull myself away for some time, and it was so emotionally draining and depressing. I had planned to look back over this kind of news by setting aside time, but I kept putting it off, until, I heard about the recent news of M. Zimmermann being sommoned for stalking. I've learned so much that I had not known and, as sad as it may be about Colin's career, I gotta tell ya, I understand why he did it; took a knee. 14. I want to comment on what you wrote about Brucilyn, but I just can't find the words to match what I'm feeling. That was too funny. I don't know what to say about Bill Cosby, but I heard Whoopi's comment and the other girl [can't remember her name] on THE VIEW, but I agree with them. I will wait to see what Bill says. Anyway, who gave the press to right to release some statement like that from some court proceedings? I don't know, it just sounds fishy to me. I mean, if Bill did all of that, I just don't understand why didn't this come out years back? What is so different now as opposed to years ago that would cause these women to speak up now? I mean, is the government going to go after all of these ballers and rock stars and etc. that have also had a reputation for having many women follow them? What if these 'season girls' start saying that the ballers and rock  stars encouraged them to have drugs? I just don't get it yet, but I'm listening up though to see how this is going to unfold. I heard that Bobby Brown was being blamed for Whitney's drug use, but it was all cleared up when Whiteney's brother spoke up and said that Whitney was on drugs before she even met Bobby. i think sometimes, the press distorts some issues. I just recently saw a documentary about some girls that were given terrible press as 'the lesbians who beat up a man'  yet, they were approached first and seems like to me, they acted in self-defense. As a result of bad press, in my opinion, some of them were sentenced to prison. That man pursued them first and the videotape showed too, that there was another man, that clobbered that guy, yet the girls were prosecuted. Times are changing it seems, for the worse.

  15. Again, I'm tickled at your take on this subject as I  was previously when I read your post. But more to the point, your comment in that she "likes the spotlight" and "Racism provides a platform for their egoism" is interesting and I didn't really consider this until now. However, based on her parents I don't see her doing this for money, so it does make sense that she fed her ego. And yes, she may have secretly relished in the favorism and attention that she may have gotten from Black people, possibly darker skinned black people. But my first reaction was that she reminded me of what was said in the movie depiction of Alex Haley's when the master's wife talked about pretending that she was a slave woman. I think many White women as a secret imbalance when it comes to the history and present issues that face Black women, and to me, it's unavoidable. I think these odd behaviors, that not only Ms. Dolozal has shown but so many others, are just one of the negative fruits of White Supremacy that goes along with the issue. She is by far not the only white woman that wants to be in the shoes of a Black woman when we are 'elevated' or delivered out of a suppressive state and that is all a sick part of White Supremacy, in my opinion. They want to play in the victory roles but not during the times when we are suppressed.

If it's glamorous to be rescued by some fantastical dashing White Slave master or a gorgeous Superfly black man who saves a sexy Black woman from being attacked, then the White woman wants to be 'that woman' and they don't see the gut wrenching truth behind fantasy. They are not apart of the shaping of the Black culture 'up from slavery' from slave row, but fixate on accounts of times when certain women have been elevated or freed out of suppression. I think it's llike a fantasy, a misplaced fantasy in which they can now pick the good parts of our culture to admire and want to embrace, but don't realize that this type of escapism is offensive. For many of us who have been hurt by racism, their is no escape. We can't get into a position where we can get paid to speak about our hurt, most of us just live it everyday and therefore, we don't have the freedom to speak out without knowing there are possible repercussions and we won't be able to run from it. As a White woman who fantasizes about being a Black woman, I don't think you would find one that would want to be portrayed as an ugly black woman. So, White woman can pick and select how they want to portray themselves in Black face' and therefore, it would be a light skinned Black woman, of which carries a negativity and a blow to our history and experience as well. But I find her behavior so common, I think we just have been conditioned to ignore it in the past and for some reason, her parents wanted to lash out against her, and so we are now facing this issue as a result of their conflict.

In ancient history, foreign woman who became apart of Egypt put on wigs and portrayed themselves as Egyptian woman in order to be elevated above the original Egyptian woman, but we don't highlight this fact! So why now? Some White women today, blow up their lips and add padding to their hips to present themselves as being attractive with this 'Black trait' but that doesn't mean they want to be Black women, but just the White woman or light woman that has the attractive traits of black woman. They are picking and choosing what they want out of our culture, but then too, some of them are probably doing that in regards to other ethnic cultures as well because they are in a position where they can look at others and then mimic it when they know it will bring some kind of satisfaction. In a way, it could be said that we Black women do the same thing, but not on this scale. For sure, we couldn't speak about issues under the NAACP, and get the attention that she did so easily. I saw her on youtube passionately speaking about 'the reasons why we should boycott the movie, Exodus, and I asked myself, why hasn't a black woman been heard speaking against this move?

  16. Wow! I read the article and I do agree that 'we' tend to give White women a pass and view them as being fragile should be be called out or exposed for doing something cultural offensive. Even though, I am pretty critical against wrongdoings that I see in regards to White women, I too find myself sometimes willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for certain issues, that I find myself wondering why I do that. And, I kind of know the answer, it's deep seeded and I believe comes from a pre-conditioning and from the feeling of suppression and White Supremacy being masked behind White men as taking the wrap for issues that have been exposed. I believe we have been conditioned to overlook White women and view them as being off limits no matter how they show themselves as being just as active about racism and White Supremacy as the White man. And I really have a lot of emotions about this topic because I have had to deal with issues that I have been faced with that makes it hard for me to ignore now. This issues just strikes a tune with me because I constantly have a burning question in my mind concerning 'the reaction' of Ms. Dolezal being exposed in comparison and contrast to so many other issues, one that would include Black people have downplayed Ms. Stanely Dunham.

I'm trying to wrap my head around how the presidents mother could have been given a pass to be able to be considered a foundation of our Black race and culture when every thing that I read doesn't show anything credible! She has been given credit, but she didn't live the life of a Black woman or African or African American. So, what is so different from her and Ms. Dolezal? In fact, Ms. Stanley Dunham moved in on another Black woman! The president's father was married at the time the president was conceived. He was 'a money train' sitting in a college class on some kind of scholarship or something at a time when Stanley Dunham's parents left the continent to move to Hawaii to seek a better life. During the 60s when the Civil Rights Movement was in swing, she was not apart of any movement that I read about that aligned her to the plight of Black people at that time. The write-up throws down the presidents father, but builds up his mother and in my opinion, GIVES HER A PASS, but she is just as negative as what his father as been portrayed to have been. She was not embracing the Black plight, rather, she was looking for  relationship that gave her economical gain. I just don't get it. Ms. Dolezal is by far rare in her actions to have a passion to align herself with the Black race for gain when things are going well.

I mean, the very epic film of a White actress portraying the part of a well documented Black woman just screams to this issue. NO, Cecil B. DeMille did not cast a Black woman to play the part of Zippora, but he chose a White woman! I think too, that many White woman possess some kind of imbalance when it comes to the plight of Black women in many ways that we have been made to 'not see'. Many of them hide behind White racist men, but it just doesn't seem natural for White men to be racist against Black women, and not White women too. i think many of them hide their racism and want to be portrayed as being passive, but that is not true.

  17. Fewer bookstores, more wing shops and a ton of money being spent on Jordans... that's my perception of the last 15 years. I once had a dream that I would be a writer. I no longer have that dream and I've pretty much relegated my aspirations to blogging and business writing. I don't think I will ever see the day that I make a living off of writing. I often feel like I should have attended an MBA and computer science program instead of an MFA. I mean, my living has gone from being a college professor to selling shoes in the last ten years. That was basically dictated by the difficulty I had in the publishing world. I feel Cynique 100%. The novelty is long gone and my energy is only spent on getting more shoes onto the feet of consumers. That's not a bad thing, but it's unfortunate that what was my world for so long (education/teaching/reading - things that matter), I don't see it providing me with a living so I've given it up pretty much.

That's scary, 'not wanting to write'. I love to write but yes, this technology world has caused me problems too. The thought of living off of writing has left me many years ago, but I still believe that writing [& reading] is paramount to having a better quality of life. It's just that, I believe that there are some who deliberately write useless material to deter people from wanting to write and read about the issues that count, and this has played against the human race as a whole. And, this is disheartening for me, but nevertheless, I love to write, I have just got to get myself in the mood and this is taking a little longer than it has in the past.

  18. I would like to see the blog integrated into the first page of the site and the books, even the paid ads, be featured as blog posts/articles. Basically I'd like the traditional banner, with ad at the top of the page, rotating slider featuring paid ads at the top, an AALBC power list box, a Huria Blog box and then the blogs beneath all of that. I mean really the biggest issue I see is that people are really getting used to the blog format on the homepage as opposed to being a click through. People scroll now and if there is an extra button to click to get to information then I think it hurts. If we can see an excerpt of the blog posts that would be great.  The site is so informative it will be hard to decide what to do, but you know how to keep it rocking. As far as making a living from the site, you might want to break down the advertising into a year long billing subscription. I know for a fact if you sent me a billing option that I would pay each month to keep a book on the front page. If the billing option doesn't show up then I keep kind of pushing forward and forget to do anything. (Does that make sense?) Whatever you do I will be ready to look at it and I will  help in anyway.

I don't know if you touched upon this as far as billing, but I had a little bit of a problem seeing how I ws billed on the book that I just recently purchased. I used paypal through some unfamiliar site to buy my book and did not get a transaction number, the usual process. but I feel pretty okay because I saw paypal statement on my email.

  19. ...What visitors do care about is what will the site does, what information it conveys and how it looks.  Which really is the main reason I created this post.  Are there any features you'd like to see on a bestsellers list?  Please share you ideas here and I'll work them in...Thanks for your help!

I'm too new to really know what to offer right now, but just want to say that I did order a book off of the list and I am looking forward to sharing my thoughts after I read it. It is about a woman who raised her sons in a thug propagandized world. Since i have sons, and this was and still is a challenge for me, I am so interested in reading this book.

I know that Amazon offers the opportunity to sample the book and also, comments about the book by others. So I love to read other people's comments, perhaps, that might be a feature, a caption, or something, that could be easily seen. but again, I'm new at this, and this feature may already be in place.

  20. ChevDove/Guest appears to be the same person.  ChevDove you do not have to quote some one each time you reply, just type in your response, we can follow the train. ...

It seems #racheldolezal's 15 minutes of fame is over preempted by the tragedy in SC.  I'd actually been in the church where the tragedy took place.

Racialized white racists are starting to rise up.  It is so crazy these guys think Black people are the source of their problems.  We have the same oppressor, but they are too dumb to see that.

Thank you, I was confused when I posted previously, and did not realize that I was kicked out right after I had logged on, so I posted as guest and then realized I needed to log back in again. I used to live in Charleston, SC many years ago, and I remember that church very well. Yes, I also agree that we have the same oppressor, but they are so dumb and controlled and can't even see it. What a shame. But what can we do? They are rising up and being encouraged to go in this direction by the 'people in high places'. They too, in my opinion, are being used to keep up White Supremacy.

  21. I'm confused as to who is saying what??????  Are ChevDove and Guest the same person??

Lol! You definitely made me laugh and I apologize if you weren't meaning to be humorous. As a matter of fact, I'm still laughing. I'm both Chevdove and guest. I didn't realize after I had logged on, that the computer kicked me out until after I have decided ot post initially as a guest. Yes, I will read you post on "wigger". I have found that the subject of dark skinned and light skinned can become challenging only with there is an instigator in the midst, like White people when they like to incite. Outside of that, I could care less about my  friends being dark or light and have learned to be frank and move on to better things to do and talk about.

I have left off from these new TV programs as well,f or the most part. But, I've never been an avid TV watcher anyways, but I do have my interest. I got rid of the cable channels awhile back because my kids seemed to gravitate to shows that I didn't want them to be watching. However, I like the History channel and american funny this or that, and I like the oldies [classics] like Good Times, and also more updated but oldies still like Living Single. i used to like Tyler Perry, but I got alittle tired of him lately. I think I'm old fashion alittle bit. I'm a Christian, or correction, a believer in Jesus Christ [the original one NOT pictured in most of the Black Churches I've been to as described in the Bible] but I don't think you will throw me off! I'm not at all conventional. Some might think I'm the spawn of the Devil too, and I could care less.

I've not read the book you mentioned but I will check it out. I don't know if I can pick up the slack, LOL! I might be headed down the same path you are on[! but I try to see if I can help out!
