  1. I stock very few books. Most of the books I sell, including these astrology books, are drop shipped, on my behalf, by a distributor. These titles are all print on demand — very few selling books online stocks them. They are printed when an order is placed for them, so unless you go into a physical Bookstore it is the essentially the only way these titles are sold.
  2. What have they done? They have not stopped Beyoncé or Lil Nas X from making country music or even and profiting handsomely from it. I’m not up on the rule changes that you are referencing presumably it has to do with the Grammy awards. But we have to NAACP image awards; don’t they have a category for country music? If not, they can create one. Again, you are free to make and enjoy any kind of music you like and that is the way it should be.
  3. I did not see anything in the content you shared that does not support what I wrote. What was it @richardmurray that gave you a reason to believe thing will be better?
  4. The NOI boards no longer exist? Did all the participants just go to social media?
  5. I don't understand you guys. Art is art. Anyone can create anything in any genre. That does not mean it will be any good or that we should buy it. But restricting the creation of a genre of art to someone based upon phenotype make no sense and diminished the art form. I recognize white folks enjoy structural benefits, supporting their art, Black folks don't (one reason I run this site), but people should be free to create art unencumbered by racial restrictions.
  6. Simple any content not created by a human. I'm saying that the script and the voice over is AI. Was there quoted material in the script? If so, I would not trust it unless it came from a reputable source, and "Mr. Noah's Stories" is not a reputable source. Anytime you see the word "Destroys" in a YouTube video, do yourself a favor and just ignore it.
  7. Interesting conversation The books @Delano recommended may be purchased by clicking the covers below:
  8. AI is a great tool and if used for good will dramatically raise productivity and make it possible for all of us to enjoy as HIGH basic income. But again, I doubt that will happen Elon and his ilk will begin trillionaires (literally) and the rest of us will be struggling, blaming immigrants and the woke mob.
  9. Possibly, it will make things far more difficult as the technology improves. The guy Suge hit with his car died?
  10. Kid is hit by a car, is crippled but does not die. Folks will say divine intervention saved their life... ignoring the fact that the kid was crippled by a car. Anything can be justified.
  11. I know someone whose image was used in AI video promoting a wide variety of scams without their permission. There are dozens of videos. So far each of them has gotten FAR more engagement than anything they have posted themselves thanks to the social media platforms were the videos were posted. The videos are very convincing -- I know the person very well, so I know they are bogus. The videos are shared with her friends some of whom will be dupped. Because Google is putting AL generated content (content created by websites like AALBC) on their search engine results page, in addition their ads, and their own content people are visiting websites less often. My traffic from Google search queries is down 60%. This by itself is the end of the WWW wide web as we know it. Seriously, say goodbye. YouTube is already overrun by AI generated content. Google does not care because they can serve more advertising and people just like the scandalous and salacious content. I thought social media was bad, but AI will certainly kill the WWW. The main problem is that the wealth generated from all of this will go into the hands of a few people. It is hard to believe but wealth inequality will actually get worse! Black people will remain clueless because we simply don't have any platforms large enough, with the inclination, to cover any of this tragic situation.
  12. That is technically true, but white racism and it's legacy renders that statement absurd, ludicrous.
  13. That "video" with Crockett and Jeffries is AI generated I did not watch the others, but I suspect they were AI generated as well. The WWW is becoming a cesspool.
  14. As the good @ProfD says Skip knows his path to prosperity DHTPHTG. Absolutely. But no one should have been surprised.
  15. Every human came from Africa. When the European arrived in Mexico that destroyed the Aztec civilization, besides the Aztec civilization predated the Bubonic plague by at least 100 years. Same for Incan and the Maya which is MUCH older. If any people impacted these civilizations they were African, as described by Dr. Van Setima.
  16. We agree on something else @Pioneer1. People can conjure patterns in and reasons for any event they want for all the reasons you mentioned and more. @Chevdove reply illustrates my point perfectly. Of course not. History tells us that so called Black people were the pinnacle of civilization for MOST of our history. The last four hundred years, the primarily period, we are taught in school, ignored our history.
  17. The only problem @Chevdove, and it is a big one: humans are not horses our genetics are different. There are hundreds of breeds of horses while the concept of breed does not apply to human. Differences of hair and skin colors of horses of the same breed that does not alter their breed. Let me know when you get a chance to share the information from Stanford regarding different human races. Also, all humans Homo sapiens, Homo neanderthalensis, and Denisovans are all from Africa evolving long after the continent we know today formed.
  18. I don't think anything special it up. Just another day on the big blue marble.
  19. Vaccines are more dangerous than the disease they have indicated. No, of course not. No. that would violate the meaning of the term No. Do you? Maybe we should stop taking vaccines. There would be far fewer humans alive today and the world would probably be a better place for the ones remaining.
  20. I'll let you speculate as to why I do this, as you can probably figure it out. It is like asking why I build a site dedicated to books about Black people. AKA Y Chromosomal Adam. There is indeed one man from whom all of humanity is descended, and yes, he is from Africa. Calling them "Black" is as problematic as it is today. You mean like the Neanderthals? They too are descendant from Africa -- all humans are descendant from Africa. I'll wait to read what you cite from Stanford in your research before commenting on the rest.
  21. …and Trump is the culmination of our hubris and greed.
  22. You are welcome @Chevdove. Yeah, the planet was here long before humans and will almost certainly be here long after we have gone extinct. A relative "blip" on the Earth's biosphere. Humanity is largely responsible for a loss of about 50% of all the biomatter on Earth since in the last century -- that is a pheromonal stat. It seems like every living creature would be better off without the presence of humans. As far as I can tell, we do nothing to benefit the plaent's ecology.
  23. (1) This statement is true. In fields like sociology race is recognized as a social construct and determines in some cultures how people relate to each other. (2) This statement is true. There is no "race" gene. There can easily be more genetic variation within a so-called race that there is between two different ones. The problem for some is that they view the world in Black or white (literally). They take the social construct and believe that it must be founded in our genes. They can't hold statements (1) and (2) being true at the same time. This is unfortunate as it stunts their ability to understand the world and the people in it.
  24. For real. Are pimps, street gangs, crack houses the scourge they once were? I'm in NYC right now. The biggest problem I've seen was walking down 34th street having to literarily stepover bums laying down in the middle to the sidewalk and on every available bench.
  25. I assume this is because he will likely be sent to prison. How long has he been locked up anyway?
