Carabobo vs Universitario Copa Libertadores 2020
Edson Alejandro Tortolero Toro scored for Carabobo while Jonathan Dos Santos scored for Universitario. This was a flat out battle, poised for its second leg finale. Best to both clubs, but neither has a chance of progressing against stronger opposition if they play as lose as they did today. They need to be more tight.

    Title: THe WNBPA
The new collective bargaining agreement between the womens national basketball association the WNBA and the Players in the WNBA. Top players, I did not find out what defines a top player exactly, can get half a million. DeWanna Bonner was the top salaried player with one hundred and twnety seven thousand and five hundred as her base salary. five hundred thousand as a base salary is a near four hundred percent increase, as dewanna bonner's salary is twenty five point five percent of five hundred thousand. Now, rookies in the wnba made approximately fifty thousand, more to forty five thousand, and it was forty one thousand in the year two thousand and sixteen. But, the new league average will be one hundred and thirty thousand , again a huge increase. Now, some other financial facts is that , half the wnba players , play in european leagues for more money. And, statisticians suggest the wnba is growing near the same rate, but a little faster, as the the nba. While all these fiscal numbers are great, and I am happy for the players, the issue isn't this agreement but the media presentation to this agreement as landmark. I have traveled outside the usa, and one thing I notice is the female relationship to male outside the usa is far less positive in most places. As I said in an earlier round concerning iranian women. Sport can not undo off pitch problems, they may allow a nice colorful bandaid but in the end, an operation is needed on off pitch issues , and the gender balance is an off field/pitch issue. The reason why serena williams is the only female athlete to reach the top one hundred is no accident. Most human communities about humanity are not only advanteged to male, they are dominated by males usually to female detriment. My point is simple, statian actions on gender do not reflect the human community outside the usa and if women in the usa think the wnba's policies will be copied outside the usa, they are foolish. And women outside the usa will be foolish using the usa as a reference point to change the condition to women wherever they are, outside the usa. To women in the usa, this is a good sign, and an ever growing one that better days are coming.

    Title: The LEgend of Neymar
I know Neymar, not personally, not as the individual off the pitch, but I know the player on it. This man's ambitions are very high, I argue too high. He wants to say in one year he won the UEFA CL/Ligue 1/coupe de ligue/ coupe de france/olympics/copa america.  He will not change his playing style, still dropping deep, though if I am honest, neymar has learned to be more picky , still playing the deepest of the attacking sector of psg, but he is not being as forceful, allowing the midfield or defense to get him the ball. IF he physically survives, he is a legend and ballon d'or winner hands down.  But, the challenge of winning all that while playing his way is a very demanding request neymar is giving hiself.

    Title: MONEY Money money
Bobby McMahon has a two part study of barcelona's finances. The first part is what I will speak on... I was ignorant in the past in that I did not comprehend how straight forward many soccer clubs finances were. Coming from the usa, sport teams are run like fiscal operations held by global banks. but many soccer clubs in europe, honestly over one hundred year old, have come late to the intricacies of modern financial accounting. I respect barcelona for keeping their socio system while reaching a more comlex financial structure, internally. .. I think now on pop from the natural, not the book but the movie, especially the kind of simple, player/coach/owner he represented. Ticket sales/advertisements/concessions/salary/travel/health/training was all pops saw, the acute financial ways were trciekd upon him, but he survived through sport. FC Barcelona have messi to thank a lot for. Some people say that barca has wasted messi's time organizationally. But the articel from bobby mcmahon made me see, barcelona realize what they have in messi and have worked hard to strengthen their financial footing, not for today, but also for the future. Cause when messi is gone from barca, the same when pele left santos or cruyff left ajax, more than likely barca will never be the same for a long while if ever on the pitch. but unlike ajax or santos whose greatest talismans left them before modern financial intricacies, Barca will be ready to remain a bigger club.

  4. PSG vs Monaco 1152020

Mbappe- The foul against Keita Balde was not called but Di Maria found Mbappe on the auto counterattack

    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpGL8B2Mb?fid=1034:4461225539469323

Neymar- Kurzawa made the goal curling a marker and Glick risking the referee's choices. Neymar slow waltzed the keeper the wrong way

    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpGMT1t6B?fid=1034:4461226084990982

Pablo Sarabia - Verratti's first touch was an assist, Sarabia's first touch was a goal, Neymar attracted attention that gave Sarabia more space

    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpH7smqei?fid=1034:4461239179608066

Mbappe 2 - he celebrated this time, neymar fed it to him and made the run to give him space

    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpH8lBHvQ?fid=1034:4461239729061904

  5. PSg vs Monaco in France

Neymar 1- The throughball by verratti was lovely, i worried that monaco would collapse but they didn't
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpeCjwmr7?fid=1034:4460143564226573

Gelson Martins 1- The PSG backlines problem isnt' the 424 shape, it is the offensive posture, when a team is heavy in attackers, force the attack to start deeper, bring pressure onto the team. Tuschel wants to play a high line possession with a 424, play the bunker
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpeE6kafI?fid=1034:4460144700882947

Ben Yedder 1 - Like the first monaco oal, PSG's problem is trying to stay high, it is the problem, they have four players who are in the attacking zone who rarely track back, so they are stretched if they play a high backline system
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpeFj7Drv?fid=1034:4460145460051973

Neymar 2 - it took two deflections but with neymar never assume anything close in the box is not planned.  VAR or own goal be damned
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpeHbuHYg?fid=1034:4460146315689991

Neymar 3- Mbappe in close quarters demands a foul against most defenders, neymar is a huge penalty practicer
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/IpeIHe43T?fid=1034:4460147171328007

highlights- Monaco drew threw a islam slimani  goal, cathcing psg backline again, if psg are not stretched they will not get caught out. Tuschel has to accept the 424 with a deep bunker posture

  6. Mourinho and Tactics ... and Tuschel

    I said the following

Liew said Mourinho "warns you to stop the opposition first and only then to think about playing" that quote is the problem in modern soccer, Somehow attacking equals playing and everything else is not soccer, everybody, no matter how a team play it is soccer.

    Eric Krakaeur replied https://twitter.com/EricKrakauer/status/1216501822858448897

No one is arguing that it isn’t part of the game. It’s just cynical, boring, defeatist and underlies - in my view - tactical ineptitude.

    My reply

I remember when Inter Milan won the treble. Many pundits/fan used that word cynical when Inter defeated Barcelona. I never comprehended the idea that the winner of a match is dishonorable. You play to win. So, if you win, how are you dishonorable. I do not think any team is cynical. I think some teams do not appease the media or the opposing team. But, the goal is to find balance. If a squad plays suitably one way, why change it?  If Inter Milan under mourinho had played a high possession game against Barcelona and not went on to win the champions league, moreover the treble, would that be a sign of honor or acynicism?

The goal for the team is to win, the fans want to win. Now I comprehend that barcelona fans tend to desire a certain playing style and that has spread to many fanbases through the media's guidance. But, when Leicester city won the EPL title, was that boring? When porto won the uefa cl, was that boring? If a team is not winning then a coach must change tactics and if need be strategy but if you are winning, why not keep going? No team is ever defeatist. No coach is defeatist. To call anyone defeatist , is to suggest they want to lose. Who wants to lose? I know no one who want to lose. When mourinho is successful you can not call him inept. IF he wants to mold teams a certain way, then he can not be called inept until he show an inability to adjust a strategy through tactics or set up a new strategy. Mourinho reached a uefacl final with chelsea/won laliga with real madrid. won the europa league with MUFC. I can not say he showed ineptitude in any team he coached cause inept coaches in the end, don't lift trophies. Didier deschamps won the world cup with a system that fits your description as cynical/boring/defeatist/tactically inept, that mourinho often employs. In the end, Tottenham fired Pochitenno based on defensive liabilities that led to negative results. Mourinho , a defensively centered coach, has one job and that is to shore up the defense in this team. He is given time before the summer to comb the squad. Liew suggest Mourinho is a negative hire but it is clear that offensive strength was not what cost pochitenno his job. So, Mourinho doing what the squad needs to find balance is key. And tottenham need defensive improvement. If less possession percentage or goal attempt quantity aids in keeping clean sheet or less goals scored then mourinho is off to the right start in using tactics to make his strategic alignment of tottenham successful. That is not ineptitude but purposeful. If he need to get new costly players to do that , it is not defeatist but warranted. If tottenham win an epl or a champions league under mourinho, i am certain some will deem it boring, but not all.

    In AMENDMENT

Look at Tuschel at PSG, Tuschel is playing a 424, it is a vetted strategy, he is using tactics to try and make a high possession/high goal attempt in PSG. I suggest, that he use a tactic of modulating the base position of the lines of the squad to delete the space behind the backline and provide greater space in front of the attack. My suggestion will lower the possession percentage/lower the goal attempts, but each goal scored on PSG in the recent match will have a smaller chance of occurrence as PSG will not be spread  now, is that cynical? again cynical defined as dishonorable/negative, I do not know. The role of a coach,mourinho/tuschel /any other, is to find the balance in a team. PSG's 424 strategy is not defensively improved by the tactic of manipulating defenders movements. if tuchel does not try to use tactics that he has not tried to adjust the strategy, then is not that the most dishonorable/cynical thing to do? I can not say if being scored on is boring, I know I didn't like it and it isn't a positive. And if you have exhausted all the tactics you want then using a tactic you may deem as boring , and continuing to do so if the team find balance is the role of coach. You spoke of defeatism concerning mourinho, but is the role to win or is the role to appease a strategic philosophy, using tactics to mold every strategy into a certain evaluation, which Tuschel seems willing to do? I say, Tuschel's continuing desire to make psg a high possession/high goal attempt team has continually proven defeatist, defensively. And said defensive flaw does not come from tactical ineptitude, but tactical rigidity, Tuschel knows tons of strategies and tons of tactics to manipulate strategies, but if he or any coach is unwilling to use tactics that may find balance, that is a dysfunctional mentality by any coach. And I admit that I said Mourinho has been rigid in the past. To be fair, in his MUFC tenure, where the team was not built for his preferred system. The role of coach is not to make a team appear honorable/acynical or exciting /not boring. The role is to find balance. Where the defense or offense in a lineup, in a strategic  formation, using various tactics is at its best. Best defined as where the players seem the most comfortable. PSG have never, in all three of tuschel's season, been defensively comfortable. He tried various strategies, used various tactics. But it is clear he need to use tactics that he may not want to.If he lead to defeat people may say he is inept or was unwilling to be defeatists, but I say Tuschel is rigid and was unwilling to accept negative critique to his tactics to win, which led in seasons past to defeat.

    Title: Madrid women

I ask you to read the links in the transcript to Ana Rosell side Lola Romero. Both are the best examples of how womens soccer will grow in most cases, wisely or outside the u.s.a.. One of the problems with organization in mens sports is the fiscal entry fee, like a certification of matriculation from a educational college is a control mechanism. Meant to blockade or regulate. But, womens soccer, especially ten years ago, though still in most places, is financially unconvincing in terms of short term fiscal revenue. Thus attracting sponsors is a hard task for most female clubs.  But, on the reverse side, having a small short term financial footprint allows clubs to be started or  initialized by ambitious people who have the dream that started nearly all mens clubs near one hundred years old or more. That was to create a soccer team to represent their community. Lola Romero did it at atletico madrid, starting from the bottom tier in the spanish womens pyramid, when fiscally wealthy fiscal institutions like red bull are unwilling to do the same in brasil's mens game. Ana Rosell, who played for Atletico madrid and found support in Atleti's organization in her efforts, began CD tacon with the purpose to provide Real Madrid with a womens club to absorb. On june twenty fifth, the year two thousand and nineteen in the christian calendar, Real MAdrid initiated the process to integrate cd tacon into their organization and turn them into the womens football section of real madrid. The modulation will finalize july first year two thousand and twenty. Congratulations to Ana Rosell. It is a shame, US Soccer denies the opportunity of a first tier womens team to be developed from within a community like atletico madrid or the soon to be real madrid feminino.

    Title: Paris Fandom
While the article linked in the transcript to this segment , I hope you read, is a fun example to how fandom in soccer, where teams from smaller geographies can play against teams from larger geographies that they adore, thus will support any other day. The unmentioned aspect I want to focus on is the possibility of Paris Saint Germain, P.S.G. . I recall when NEymar left FC Barcelona for P.S.G. . Many said they could not comprehend why, but I saw clearly why. PAris is the largest city in Europe by total population. A city that is itself a media brand, bigger than london or madrid and seconded only occasionally by Rome. Rome is the biggest city in europe or the world a few times every year. PAris winning the uefa cl will be a big windfall and the players who make up the core or are considered the main players when paris first win the uefa champions league will be rewarded on nearly all levels. I know media have prompted Mbappe is the main player, but I do not think that is remotely true, Neymar is the key player in PSG. He is the player, that takes up the central space when against the strongest opponents and the one teams look to stop more than any other. If the current psg squad reaches and wins the upcoming uefa champions league final , It can be the beginning of a love affair to psg that will trump anything liverpool/manchester united/real madrid/fc barcelona/bayern munich have achieved in terms of global scope.

    Title: Inter Miami
Earlier in this round , I spoke of the challenge of starting and growing a team in the mens game, using the parallel of atletico madrid or real madrid women in the womens game. Inter Miami is a prime case to the controls/blockades/walls placed in mens sport, designed to control who owns. The article connected to this segment suggest Inter Miami has a complicated path forward. But, isn't every new mens sport team, especially in the usa that way. The article mentions the Miami Marlins. The Miami marlins started with a near one hundred million expansion fee. Can you imagine one hundred million dollars to pay off other owners to be in a league? Beckham was guaranteed the chance to start a Major LEague soccer team in his contract to come into major league soccer, as MLS's first major international star. Sequentially, his minority ownership in Inter Miami is touted a lot. Cause Inter Miami would cost more, iin entry fee, if not for that. But, how can Inter Miami not have a complicated path forward when money had to be shelled to mls clubs still. When a stadium can not be modest, but has to be an attention getter. When the team is touted by media like it represent miami while in truth, it has no cultural connection whatsoever to miami, all expansion clubs made in all leagues in the usa, in modernity, they are businesses, that tout communal connection in a well paid media, while in truth, have no way to replace the process century old male soccer teams outside the usa or most women soccer teams in history did to reach their communal connection. If Inter Miami becomes one of many expansion caves in the sporting landscape, many will blame many things. but the truth is, like any individual who comes into a community forcefully absent want from the communities original residents, the media calls that colonialization and gentrification I call it invasion and strangification, a sports team's lack of being born from in a community is why few in a community feel attached.

    Title: Ohhh GHana

The Ghana Football association laying off the coaches to each team, all age groups, male or female, was organized by Kurt Okraku with the supervision of a FIFA representative. In the time since it first occured I heard nothing about new appointments, thus this remaking of the ghana football association is meant to be long term. In the end, I will not assume the future or judge the development stage. But, Kwesi Appiah led the senior ghana squad well in qualifiers , with no losses, and Mercy Tagoe led the Black queens to the inaugural west african football union, wafu, title. The coaches proved they are quality and are being derailed by a choice to reboot an entire football association. One whose external environment, that being ghana the country, is not financially growing at a fast rate or governmentally showing a high level of functionality.
I wish Ghana well in the future; but their remodeling has alot of challenges that a relatively recent remodeller, germany , did not have to deal with in the german football association, dfb, external environment.

    Title: Balotelli
I paraphrase an article in the new york times concerning mario balotelli... "No matter where his career has taken him, Mario Balotelli’s home has always been in Brescia... He bought the penthouse in 2012... He visited sporadically while playing in england, in 2013 he joined milan and moved in permanently, preferred the hourlong commute to Milan, when he joined OGC Nice or Marseille after games, he returned to the apartment and made the 250-mile journey back for the next training session.. rather than playing for flamengo in brasil or a team in china for more money than he can get anywhere, he chose brescia with a severe paycut, Balotelli said: as soon as this offer arrived, i didn't have another thought"
... when I was a kid a cartoon layed on rerun entitled the hurricanes. It is a cartoon from england. In the cartoon, each player represented some part of the world. The italian player in the cartoon had a brother who was a prodigy but got hurt saving his brother from falling off of rafters. The little brother went on to join the hurricanes full of guilt while the big brother, needing a cane, became a teacher to youth. In the episode that informed said tale, the little brother is very apologetic but the big brother suggests it is all right and the big brother has no regrets for his career ending cause he saved his little brother. Balotelli from his MAnchester City days , where he let off firecrackers in his england resting spot, is like the big brother of the italian player in the hurricanes. This local soccer hero of decades gone by , you rarely see anywhere. ... I admit, I wanted balotelli to go to china first, flamengo second, over brescia. It is not that I hate brescia , the hometown of my favorite womens team in italy, brescia calcio femminile, the leonessa, but Balotelli to me, is a fine footballer, who has been placed in bad scenarios or bad teams. Inter milan was a bad scenario, a team of experienced players and a hungry coach, with a diamond youth player who needed start time, while the team went on to win the first treble in italian history. Manchester city, the last small team made big by big money before financial fair play in U.E.F.A. hit, that were on a total buying spree absent identity, was a bad move for a young player with talent, a talisman, to be jumbled alongside an entire squad of talent. People forget how many players came and went through Manchester city's early years when they became big money. A totally dysfunctional club that pep guardiola's planning finally made stable. Then he went to more dysfunctional, last of the berlesconi years Ac Milan. The year balotelli went to AC Milan, AC Milan was unable to keep Zlatan and Thiago Silva after winning the scudetto and then fired allegri after he didn't turn piss into wine. Bringing in ever brave clarence seedorf, to sail a ship without a mast, with balotelli as the hull. Both seedorf side balotelli were gone by the summer. Then Balotelli went to post luis suarez/sturridge beginning his injury prone phase, Liverpool. All the players brought in by Brendan rogers had a woeful time. Balotelli was blamed for every failing at liverpool, markovic the highest signing who barely played was blamed for nothing but seemed incapable, and iago aspas who needed balotelli as a foil was let go before balo came for markovic. Balotelli was let go to Nice when klopp came in, and brought organization to the plans of the new statian owners to liverpool. At Nice he finally found a proper footballing experience. In my view, enjoying the only true time he was in a stable situation. But, OGC Nice is a small club fiscally and Raiola is Balotelli's agent and thus a move to Marseille and well, you know MArseille. Bad Scenarios for him individually in inter milan or bad teams in manchester city/ac milan/liverpool hindered balotelli while blaming him for everything.. I paraphrase the article again : "It is not possible to tell Balotelli’s story as a player. He did not make the cover of Time as a footballer; he was featured, instead, because of a cultural significance that had been ascribed to him as a black Italian player or more honestly, Italian soccer's black player, a personal friend to Balotelli asked, what would success have looked like?  Could it have been measured in goals/assists/social change? Balotelli never asked to change italian culture through soccer, but it is a task media gave that no one can complete... Balotelli is still box office, still click bait, still a source of fascination and intrigue that the media created, and that an internet driven media will never stop feeding. He has an ability to attract suitors at least in part because the media made him a lifetime seller of newspapers. He is a name, a brand, a star, regardless of what he does on the field. He even has a lifetime deal with Puma, his apparel sponsor, signed at the height of his fame, that ensures his income even after he retires."
... In the u.s.a. many black athletes, moreover many non white athletes,  were in the role Balotelli is ascribed by media to be in italy. The one who breaks through the barriers off the pitch by merely being on it. Jackie Robinson is probably the greatest example. A great player on a o.k. team, the brooklyn dodgers, for most of his time there, who made the owner ricky, alot of money and newspaper interests off the pitch, an owner who eventually left brooklyn for a huge deal in a city in california. Althea Gibson won the french open once and wimbledon and the us open twice. But, Robinson's running or Gibson's volley didn't protect a black person, any age or gender, from white assault , whether badged or unbadged , from upstate new york state to the delta in mississippi. Same goes for Jim Thorpe whose olympic exploits did not change in any way the poisonous, sinful perception of whites whose forebears killed native americans and forced the native americans to survive to live in open air prisons while their children are taught in mental experimentation clinics. Balotelli is a player greater in talent than the statistics or trophy cabinet can say currently, though it was he who passed to aguero like a true hero, but part of his dilemma is not always him, it is that a player who reflects a traditional soccer hero, is caught between agents greed/owners dysfunction/medias mob gathering but needed and perhaps need time away from all three in a little town where he is a local hero , to set himself right for the next chapter, which may be better still. But even if it isn't, I think balotelli will be happy.

    Title: The Journey of Villa
DAvid Villa had a great letter to myself in the players tribune from derek jeter, but what I like about him most as a player was he played like one of those workmen players. Flashy when need to be, but never a true prima donna. Like a dani alves, his fiscally poor origins and not so lauded youth made him a player that learned to fight unfair disadvantages at times, and be very wise in his movements. But, I find it interesting that he is becoming a part owner, not the majority owner of queensboro fc. I see the ussoccer model in totallity. While Major league soccer has an unquestioned first tier status. United soccer leagues is used as a fiscal entryway to investors, especially former players in the global game to invest in soccer in the usa in clubs structured more realistically. The one thing I can not stand is the modern media infatuation with naming media names as owners. David Villa is not the primary owner of queensboro fc, a man named cohen is. Beckham is not the primary owner of Inter Miami, a man named Mia is. Carmelo anthony is actually the majority owner of Puerto Rico F.c. whose geographic position in puerto rico has been , to be blunt disatrous, but at least, Carmelo is actually an owner. Villa has made his long term investment in queensboro and it will probably be fruitful and allow him to own a lesser team in his native spain one day, but either way, Villa has always playedor gambled with passion but also seriousness and that combination can not fail you in any environment.

  9. PSG vs Saint Etienne in France #coupedelaligue #PSG #asse #leverde

Mauro Icardi-lovely angle to score, Icardi has missed passes, m,issed hold up play, not sharp in anything else, but sharp in scoring.   Neymar been clattered all match but his conditioning seem good.

Neymar- Di maria assist, lovely curler over the keeper

Angel di Maria - the pass from Mbappe!  a goal blessed by an angel. defensively not satisfied with PSG but lovely offense.

  10. weekends 1/4/2019 #realmadrid #getafe #atleti #levante #barca #espanyol

Real MAdrid vs Getafe in Spain

Rafael Varane- varane stayed true to the attempt, the keeper mistimed his approach to get it
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/InYW0zCS0?fid=1034:4457157521768479

Rafael Varane 2- Ray Hudson said that the purpose is to favor the attacker, but that is the inherent problem. Favoring the attacker goes against the exact fairness that supporters to video assisted refereeing said they want eliminated. In the same way the FIFA rules have problems so do the arguments supporting video assisted refereeing. You can't say, give favors/favor the attacker - speed up the game while on the other hand, get every call correct.
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/InZ9GBHej?fid=1034:4457165985873951

Luka Modric- Viniciusjr worked to take the ball and then casmiero found bale who one touch found valverde and then he ran with modric coming in to reach it.
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/InZq3D1ul?fid=1034:4457176098603026

Atletico Madrid vs Levante in Spain

Angel Correa- lovely one touch, Partay to Trippier made it where trippier only needed to touch it once for the cross and Correa then slotted it lovely.
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/InZKEbJyl?fid=1034:4457188886773767

Felipe Augusto de Almeida Monteiro - Atleti defensively are softer, not as strong, not as focused, but if the team is going to score more that will counterattack the defensive fragility. Some will say this game is entertaining, but I never like losing a clean sheet especially in a first half, that is a bad sign for the defensive setup.
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/InZNhzlkK?fid=1034:4457190631604239

    ESpanyol vs Barcelona in Spain

David Lopez- barcelona has been soft defensively and this goal set the tone for the match. Espanyol were always up for this. Defense is not merely a skill, it is an art and those teams like barca who treat defense as something for individuals instead of the collective craft it is , like attacking, are bound to make serious problems.
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/Io1pPBsBW?fid=1034:4457252715954178

Wu Lei- Barca went down to ten after De Jong had to take a yellow card for an exposed player, and that opened up Barcelona up more. Wu Lei was slotted in and made a great strike.

Title: UEFA champions league- Europa league draw 2019-2020
I placed all the matchups in the coming round of the u.e.f.a. champions league or europa league in the transcript and some matchups are really spicy others seem prescient, others i think are ripe for a surprise. But, my issue is competitiveness. One of the biggest media issues to the champions league is the lack of competitiveness, the same old same old but when I look at the europa league, the europa league is the competition those who speak of competitiveness say they want. The problem is the europa league or champions league have detractors whose agenda asks too much. The detractors to the champions league say they are tired of the same old teams but are not interested in focusing on the europa league, whose winner is never predestined. On the other hand, the detractors to the europa league, say it is not for top teams but they never admit how many teams of larger global cognition get annually defeated by teams of a smaller media footprint. Lastly, the detractors to the entire confederation cup duo in u.e.f.a, meaning champions league side europa league, do not admit how many teams they want in the proposed u.e.f.a. superleague have failed in either competition. The biggest culprit is english premier league teams. Many supporters of the super league always profess a need for six or eight english premier league teams and yet, in the champions league or europa league, english teams have in no way been dominant in decades. If half of the teams in the superleague have not been dominant in the champions league then I do not comprehend how the superleague can determine the best team in u.e.f.a. ... So many fiscal forces want the soccer world to reflect the negative business practices at the core to most industries in humanity. but competition has value. Sports teams are not be too big too fail. The desire by various monied interests to make sports teams in the global game, too big to fail, is a strategic mistake that I hope those in F.I.F.A. against can successfully deter. Remember to use the link in the transcript for this segment to read my thoughts on all the matchups in the u.e.f.a. champions league or europa league

    Title: Botafogo new structure

December twenty seventh , in the roman year two thousand and nineteen, Botafogo Regatas and Futebol club became Botafogo S/A , not in the facade to the club but underneath. I am not privy to the details in the restructuring or how it will work out. But, what was conveyed is the following. Botafogo of Rio de Janeiro will split the complete futebol department from the rest of the club, and seek finances from investors in a time frame. This action seems to have occured absent a need to readjust the administrative rule book to the club. I will love to know the thoughts to the eight who voted no , one who voted neutral and one who did not vote. The circa four hundred and ninety five who voted for this seem to have support from various groups or peoples. I find it funny that the club of the PEople's Joy , Garrincha , is the one being used to go against a social system into the single corporate style.
In the end, I hoped that those in control in brasil would force large fiscal operators to make their own teams and start from the bottom tier in brasil and work their way to the top. But, I knew the odds were against that and this action by botafogo is clearly being financed or invested by various fiscal sources who want brasil's oldest clubs to be bought by large financial concerns. Many suggested that in the recent club world cup, that the success of liverpool over flamengo in the final was based on the financial potency in UEFA's model, which is against the socio for the most part. I still think a socio driven club can do greatly overtime. I have little to nothing , if one ask for proof, but I know it can be done. The problem is a socio based club, having a great dynasty will come absent individual wealth. And individual wealth is the key. PResidents and others of financially big clubs have large financial revenue streams coming their way. A true socio club having a trophy laden era, will not lead to the fiscal wealth that most , including myself, desire at some level. It is unfortunate, but my hope in big business trying to prove itself in the soccer world will seem not to be. Big business has to do things cheaply, do it shortly, do it absent long term planning that eternally short term boosts. I hope Botafogo will do well, but I may have to eliminate the club as one of mine.

    Title: The Beautiful Game
Futebol or Soccer is called the beautiful game, Jogo Bonito from its first global superstar Pele, and in its history from Pele participation stalling a war in Africa or world war I soldiers taking a respite, provide historical evidence that futebol or sport itself can be the bandaid on all global problems.
But I oppose this view. It is not up to the beautiful game or any other sport to be a bandaid on the problems between peoples.
Earlier this year, Iranian women were allowed to go into stadiums in iran and many suggested it was a win for sport. But it was not, it was a dysfunction. It is not up to sport to determine or influence the gender balance in iran, that is up to the iranian people. In parallel, it is not up to sport to show all the peoples in the usa can be on a team or work together positively or be absent bias. Blacks still do not like whites while whites still do not like blacks even though the champion sports teams have all phenotypes in their makeup.
The problem is not that soccer or any sport is a thing of the people, a politic, people make up all sport. But the problem is sport has tried to reflect what people are not outside the pitch/court instead of accepting what people are outside the pitch. And people outside the pitch are full of angers/dislikes/negative biases or other negatives or based on experiences/greeds/philosophies  or other sources.
... what happened in china concerning Ozil should not shocked anyone but been embraced as the human way.

    Title: OL side Reign FC

It is official, January two thousand and twenty in the christian calendar Olympique lyonnais will be the majority owners of Reign F.C.
The sale was circa three point 5 million approximately, it is odd to me that the national womens soccer league in the u.s.a. does not have a black owned team when the reign can be bought for circa three point five million . Anyway, Seattle is a pacific city. It borders the sea that connects asia to the american continent. It is a big city in the northwestern region in the usa, which is far from france. I thought french olympique lyonnais is smarter having a north american attache in a place like quebec or montreal but with the canadians starting their own leagues maybe aulas already has that planned.
I listened to Lyon Offside, concerning the Reign FC buy, Aulas didn't state why he preferred buying an existing team over starting a team from scratch. Arianna Scavetti or AScavs on twitter made a good point about the scouting system in the Reign already in existence being a good help. I add, Lyon coming from europe will have no experience concerning college scouting. In terms of the badges, I think the reign badge can be modified to mirror the lyon badge.
In the end, this investment did not cost Aulas over 5 million dollars. So, if you think on sport meia growth in the usa, then it will recover that 5 million plus more sooner rather than later.

  15. UEFA champions league Round 16 2019/2020

    • Borussia Dortmund vs PSG - PSG are up against a poor defensive team, that are historically wobbly

    • Real Madrid vs Manchester City - this may be a great battle or a drumming to one or the other. MCFC do not defend and Zidane will massage real Madrid to be strong in modulation and exploit the well-known strategic defect in Guardiola's ways

    • Atalanta vs Valencia - Atalanta has a great opponent, Valencia can embarrass Atalanta, but Atalanta is a great team and they can exploit Valencia who may be wobbling as well

    • Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool- Atleti has the counter on, the key is how to be patient. Liverpool attack and lose all their shape, the key is to have patience, the chances will come.

    • Chelsea vs Bayern Munich- Bayern Munich has injury problems, Chelsea is young, this will be a return battle between two sides whose greatest outing found Chelsea winning the UEFA champions league

    • Lyon vs Juventus- OL have to battle and Memphis Depay our most devastating attacking player is out for the year. Juventus are very dangerous and Lyonnais do not have the strongest defense.

    • Tottenham vs Leipzig- Leipzig is electric in attack, overwhelming, Tottenham has a dodgy defense but it may be sharp or organized by this time. this will test Mourinho's ability to organize Tottenham's defense in a short-congested period.

    • Napoli vs Barcelona- Barcelona will be deadly in attack. But more than likely still suspect in defense. The variable is Napoli itself. Will Napoli be better or worse, collectively, energetically.

    Europa league Round 32 2019/2020

    • Wolverhapton vs Espanyol- the Portuguese wolves will have an Iberian battle with Espanyol, one half in England, good battle

    • Sporting Portugal vs Istanbul Basaksehir- Sporting are shaky but basaksehir have a tough Turkish super lig battle. As the sole Turkish representative, they will want to do better.

    • Getafe vs Ajax- Ajax in recent seasons show a desire to win anything in the confederation, so they will be serious. Getafe is a battling side, experienced in dealing with better clubs in talent or resources. Ajax showed a softness that most selling teams have after a big sale, but Getafe may be overrun.

    • Bayer Leverkusen vs Porto - Another good battle. Teams at the same level, whomever is better over two legs will win it.

    • Copenhagen vs Celtic- Two teams in the long haul of the Europa league. Celtic has a greater name but Copenhagen can shock them

    • APOEL vs Basel- Another great battle.

    • CFR Cluj vs Sevilla- Sevilla's prestige or roster has a greatness over Cluj but depending on when these matches occur, Sevilla may sacrifice them for la liga placement, and Sevilla do not have a bench team better than Cluj

    • Olympiacos vs Arsenal- Olympiacos is a stalwart in these rounds of the Europa league. Arsenal have some devastating talents but arsenal is going through such a bad time in the E.P.L. if it persists during this round, it may be too large a negative moment and make it easier for olympiakos

    • AZ vs LASK- I do not know these clubs well, but from what I know this is a battle

    • Club Brugge vs MUFC- Brugge is one of the best teams in the champions league group stage. MUFC cannot hustle past them. I expect a rout, which will suit MUFC well in focusing on champions league's next term

    • Ludogorets Razgrad vs Inter Milan- Inter Milan's lack of goal sharpness cost them being in the later stages of the champions league, Conte has a month or two to sharpen inter's attack

    • Eintracht Frankfurt vs Red Bull Salzburg- Salzburg lack of goal sharpness like inter milan is why they are in the europa league. If they become sharper in scoring, they will progress and potentially go deep.

    • Shaktar Do

    Atletico Madrid vs Osasuna

  18. Richard Murray Thoughts Round 6 - https://www.kobo.com/us/en/audiobook/richard-murray-thoughts-round-6-1

    -----------------------------------

    Title: Introduction
Good Morning , Good afternoon, or Good evening, wherever you are listening, I am Richard Murray and welcome to this audio edition to my thoughts. Remember, to click the link in the description of this edition to view the transcript, that has links to everything I refer OR to send me a message about a topic you want to hear in the future.
    ---------------------
    Title: Balon Dor part 2
In the last round I spoke on the topic of the Balon D'or, specifically on how to improve the rulings or its structure to end the media debates on its validity or on the winners validity.
But mari Balotelli made a statement, issued out by 360 source, that I learned from mercy khakukani . I paraphrase him, the link to the quote is in the transcript... winning the balon d'or on more than one team once is greater than winning the balon d'or on one team many more time than twice.
Now, based on the current balon d'or model, as I spoke in the last round, no judgment can hold up to the award or the recipients.
But, Balo's point I thought about in another way. Forget the Balon d'or as much as what it is supposed to symbolize, a trophy to the best player,in all ways, above all others in a calendar year. If that is the case then winning it playing for more than one club is a unique achievement.
    < referral https://twitter.com/mercykhahukani/status/1203371071476523009 >
    ----------------------
Title: Another round of RelPro in the USA
In the end, i should not had even spoken on relpro in the usa again. but I thought to an idea rarely stated from myself or through the discussions.
In the referral link, in the transcript, I describe the reasons behind the rarely stated position. I ask you to use the link in the transcript. I considered stating the idea after 3four3 asked for , and I quote, one single, precise, efficient, incisive question or talking point in a tweet
... relpro in the usa can start in a tiered league system in a state soccer association. I will extrapolate a little though it is a retelling in truth ... No matter what form of relpro in the usa supporters want, or the financing supporters want to give such a system, the place in the usa where relpro in the usa has the best chance to succeed is in a state in the union, the lowest ussoccer tier. No federal wide representation. But, the ability to be RelPro.

    Title: CAF in the future
The ghana football association said they want womens league clubs to have social platforms and media officers, an order more than a demand.
I quote what I commented on the NB Sports tweet
    begin quote
as someone who has been online for a while, i wonder what social media accounts they will have i hope the nwl teams consider using one social space, and consider global audiences, facebook/twitter are as strong outside the anglophone, consider a black owned website or maybe(1/2)all the teams can work together and make a website , that is what i hope but i have no power @NaaBardina try to regale the teams to make a website, that will be better than individual pages @darmooh82  please regale, maybe a site for nwl clubs and other ghana sport concerns? (2/2)
    end quote
NB Sports < https://twitter.com/NBSports_Live > side  Naa Bardino < https://twitter.com/NaaBardina > side Bree Mongina < https://twitter.com/beebree0 > replied to my suggestion with a position counter while not negative. They said, a twitter/facebook profile is enough, let the clubs grow into what they want and online media spaces is not the priority of the team... they are each correct. Other aspects are more vital to the teams in ghana, the spaces on twitter or facebook are suitable if they wish to mirror what most clubs do, and over time they will grow.
My problem is not what they said as much as what they didn't say. Relying on twitter or facebook or any website they do not control deletes their ability to manage their content, as their content will be under the control of twitter or facebook. Over time, if they do as they suggest their fanbase will grow through twitter or facebook and thus be hard for them to severe the connection later if they want. While winning on the pitch is vitally important, how vital is the online fanbase to manchester united/barcelona/real madrid that allows their success or failures to be louder than any other teams successes online. part of that is the fact that the edge they have in fans gives them the edge when the interacting space to most fans is through the twitters/facebooks of the world that in their profiteering reject the growth of other clubs outside the real madridbarcelona/mufc/liverpool/arsenal contingents.
    <referral https://twitter.com/NBSports_Live/status/1204753107328143360 >
In AMendment I asked others what do they think the esocial activity need to be and the answer was in the same mold, to make facebook/twitter pages and follow other sports clubs actions.
I have learned alot about why many sports organizations are failures. It is not merely the quality in owners/administrators but the common mentality in fans/general populace. When the average person, who accesses the modern internet all the time, thinks sports teams need to follow the current standard. A current standard bereft of efficiency and designed to only support the already advantaged, it explains why they can't succeed.
If you are disadvantaged, you will never reach above the advantaged doing what the advantaged set you up to do. The model in sports media does not favor the disadvantaged, which is what every female sport club is. The fact that fans or non fans to the beautiful game, who are online every day, can only see the current model as what is needed to do, exposes how much most people do not think on things, care about these things, or comprehend how important they are.

    Title: Conclusion
Thank you for listening, if you have something you want me to talk about you can message me on my A.A.L.B.C. blog as a guest. Once I get three or more topics through current events or suggestions I will make another edition. A link ,to a transcript in my African American Literary Book Club or A.A.L.B.C. blog, is in the description to this edition , or any round after, you can use to place a guest comment.
I am Richard Murray, good morning, good afternoon, or good evening, wherever you were listening

    -------------------------

    Description
The Topics Covered in this edition are
Balon Dor part 2-is lebron james winning in multiple teams a certain quantity of championships more unique than kobe/jordan/russell winning the same quantity in one team?
Another round of RelPro in the USA- Relegation or Promotion requires money to occur in the usa, but not even money can break the bureaucracy in ussoccer that demands relpro occur within us soccer state associations, I explain further in the audio.
CAF in the future- the lack of concern or emphasis aside desire to follow the common patterns from administrators throughout the confederation of african football toward their online media presence is a very negative heritage or promulgated culture that will generate many difficulties later
    Good Thoughts

  20. UEFA CL 2019-2020 group stage

    Group A
PSG- tuschel never made psg seem balanced, he never made them seem fluid but the offensive power clicked, the players if they act as a team, even guided poorly can do great things.
Real Madrid- they are rusty but zidane is having them find form
Club Brugge- they were not powerful enough to over come psg or real madrid but they outclassed psg
Galatasaray- struggling in turkey, struggling everywhere, they sold their top goal scorer and are paying the price

    Group B
Bayern Munich-the speed of their attack is strong. They are defensively soft in the bundesliga but the remaining teams never tested them enough
Tottenham Hotspur- their group stage was decent but it showed problems that their epl play expose. They need to work on their defensive structure, they have a winter season to do it
Olympiacos- Their battle betweem themselves and red star belgrade was decided on the last day, between themselves and they succeeded.
Red Star Belgrade- good battle, but needed to treasure the europa league. they needed to defeat olympiakos on the last group stage.

    Group C
Manchester City- Dominated the remaining teams in this group who defensively were not able to resist them enough. but their results in the epl aside their uefa champions league success, they clearly have problems that need sorting out if they want to win the uefa champions league
Atalanta- my favorite story of the group, Atalanta did it all, they
Shaktar Donetsk- Atalanta is one of the best if not the best team in the group stage only salzburg seemed a better team by my eyes
Dinamo Zagreb- the whipping team, though they tripped up shaktar

    Group D
Juventus - their success over Atleti won them the group. Sarri's system is not as electric as in Napoli or Empoli but he is just starting his tenure as Juventus coach, if he can get another season it will be better.
Atletico Madrid - The ability fo Costa/Morata/Felix to play together continually get stymied but Atleti are working on finding their balance
Bayer Leverkusen - lost against Lokomotiv moscow and that derailed their chances
Lokomotiv Moscow- the russian side were not strong enough at home , spoiled leverkusen's run successfully

    Group E
Liverpool- like barcelona liverpool are a woeful team defensively, but their offense is electric even when not as potent. the opponents are key, opponents who are capable in defense or attack and can handle their speed they will want to evade
Napoli- Like any good soap opera/telenovela Napoli progress in the champions league absent certainty over players/coaches or what the owner will do. Drama requires fuel, progressing in the champions league is great fuel.
Red Bull Salzburg- A dangerous attack, but like Inter , too dull, though the europa league competition may offer better opponents to grow their chance ratio and sequentially the goals scored
Genk- were not at the level to the other three

    Group F
FC Barcelona- dominated the group. The key to barcelona is their attack, it is heavy and that is their key/advantage/weapon but if a team they face has a sharp attack, that doesn't need many opportunities and a staunch defense, it will get difficult
Dortmund- looked poor, the problem I have with dortmund in the next round is their defense seemed the most weak in this groups challenging teams. Inter's attack is unsharp and thus dortmund's success
Inter Milan- Are not sharp, it isn't that their defense is bad or shift between defense or attack is bad, but their offense is blunt. three goals taken away by offside is the statistic that shows more work in smoothing out their attack is needed. In italy they may not go against quick to react defenses like barcelona's, although they still cut through barca.
Slavia PRague- they were not in the quality to the other three.

    Group G
RB Leipzig- this group was the best battling group. All four teams had a chance until the last match day. LEipzig simply won the battles more than the others, but no team in this group was dominant over the others. Leipzig will have a battle in the next round but have a chance for the easiest opponent.
Lyon- Like all the other teams had to battle every match in this group. They won on the last day and progress to the next stage of the champions league, but the chance to a very potent opponent is high
Benfica- placed third but they did not show lesser value than any other side, a goal or two difference is the swing of points in the groups. Benfica are a battling team , they can do well in the europa league
Zenit- The rules say zenit is out of all competitions but they played well. This group had no team lesser or greater than. In the end, zenit needed a few goals and the points would had placed them atop the group. so, good showing, they can continue their climb to earn into the next uefa champions league.

    Group H
Valencia- the la liga team not in the simeone era big laliga 3 <real/barca/atleti>. Topping the group is good cause it allows for them to have a chance to face a softer opponent in the next round.
Chelsea - This season is still a modulating season. But, the season chelsea won the champions league was a similar season. Chelsea have a team that plays like a team and that is good against many other teams that do not play as a team all over the pitch.
Ajax - like all youth teams, they sell youth when they reach maturity sequentially, they do not have consistency. Ajax has issues in the europa league, cause while they are young do they have the discipline to handle the thursday matches so close to league matches on the weekend.
Lille - Lille entered the UEFA champions league through the goals from their star striker last season. Absent that inspiration, that goal scoring talisman, lille has floundered this season in all competitions.

  22. uefa champions league 12/10/2019

FC REdbull salzburg vs liverpool- the soccer gods are english, Slazburg had better chances but in the end, their lack of sharpness cost them and liverpool capatalized on nervous defending. Mertens acquired a goal after the half, but the milik hattrick before half ended the game

Napoli vs Genk- Ancelotti reportedly is leaving Napoli after this match but he leaves napoli a winner and profitable, well done by him. I hope he finds a team fighting for titles that has a more balanced ownership.

Arkadiusz Milik 2- callejon  , I think though I may be wrong, made a low cross and milik scored.
    https://www.weibo.com/tv/v/Ikcnx9dk2?fid=1034:4448141282312195

Arkadiusz Milik 3 - Callejon broke through the genk backline and the genk keeper fouled him after his chipping which led to a penalty. Milik slotted it in , the keeper did not see it

  23. Steve Graff introduced me to a call for talking on rel/pro in the usa, meaning relegation or promotion in the usa soccer system.  The talk was ushered by 3four3.

The following is my extended thoughts.... In the past, when I communicated side Steve or on my own, I focused on the structure to a system where soccer teams in the usa will be in tiers and from performance, at the end of a season, those above or below a quality line will be placed into a higher or lower tier, ala Rel/Pro in the USA. I placed a link below to those. But, the following is an angle I have not taken before. When we talk of relegation or promotion , people talk of structure to its design or finances to make it happen. I suggest the most important factor is place. I do not have the money to force ussoccer to change, most supporters to RelPro in the USA do not have the financial ability on an individual level. But, even if relpro in the usa supporters came together and joined our pennies, it will not be enough to start a tiered league system utilizing relegation or promotion that ussoccer will accept. Sequentially, where relpro can exist is the first issue. My answer to where is the state soccer associations. I live in new york state. New York state, dysfunctionally, has two state associations, one for west and one for east. But, all states in the union have at least one state soccer association. A federation wide league is not where relpro need to exist. If the idea is to grow , it must grow within state associations. A new york east tiered league is an example. USSoccer's rules are focused on federation -wide leagues. A league pyramid that is based in a state will never be deemed a tier1/2/3 league by ussoccer but in parallel  or contrast, said league pyramid will be free to operate as it will absent any fear of a restriction or a diminishing from ussoccer. If you are considering , what about international play, most states have a path into the us open. Is that single pathway the most opportune? no. But it mean a state based league is not blockaded, even if the challenge is high.

... I end using the following, a state based league pyramid is less  fiscally expensive in the usa than a federation based league pyramid. It also will be labeled a very low tier by ussoccer. But, it is in an environment free from the negative criticisms or barriers to relpro that are apparent in the top tier leagues.

  24. Weekends 12-7-2019

Borussia Monchengladbach vs BAyern Munich- gladbach were the true rivals to bayern in the 1970s but in the 1980s 1990s gladbach went through severe times and dortmund became touted as the rival, but dortmund isn't the true rival to bayern, it is gladbach and although gladbach took a long time, like any young horse, it will eventually mature and maybe this beginning is to a great era for Gladbach, not to dominate germany but like atletico madrid, to be a best of the rest

Ramy Bensebaini goal- penalty read it well but the placement or power was too great

PSG vs Montpellier in france- the refereeing in this match is why neymar/mbappe will want to leave ligue1. PEople will say players have to get on with it, but that is a mentality before players were millionaires and before players were able to go to places of better comfort. No player wants to get kicked out of a game and any player can get kicked out. People praise messi but I never saw the fouls to neymar or mbappe this match applied to messi that did not get the perpetrator carded.  PSG are fortunate the foul on mbappe didn't lead to great injury.  Tuschel still doesn't have a good team balance, maybe he never will but in the end, the inability to get psg to look smooth in all aspects of collective play for one match is one of tuschel's glaring errors.

Neymar- brought montpellier down to ten men getting fouled and made a lovely set piece to start the psg run, he hit the crossbar to the reverse side

Mbappe - neymar passed to Mbappe and mbappe shimmied to get space from his marker and slotted in far side

Icardi - i listed it as cavani in the video page, but it was icardi, neymar held up the ball, got through a line and made a cutting pass to mbappe, then mbappe curved a cross to Icardi and Icardi one timed it.

Title: CAF round robin part 2
In round four of this sports blog , I spoke about a dialog between myself side Julia Wanjeri speaking on my thoughts for the confederation of african football , who are unable to find a host for next years womens cup of nations, so i suggested using the conmebol mens flag systems as a guide
In part 2, I will speak about my reply to her query to money. Remember the full reply is linked in the text transcript to this round, linked in the kobo description
Julia asked, where is the money to finance the round robin idea i suggested in the last round. I miscomprehended her implications, she did not suggest that no money was present nor that he was ignorant to my suggestion but simply think it a terrible idea.
The following is my idea to financing my idea to round robining womens flag play in the confederation of african football
    Begin quote

The issue is not merely where money will come from but how money can be saved.

What are the costs to flag play? players/coaches/trainers or staff/travel expenses/pitches

If a football association want to save cost as a primary action while implementing my proposed system then

Players- do not get paid for playing
Coaches/trainers- do not get paid for coaching or training
        Medics- get paid
Travel- players will have to pay to get to the locations or will have their travel paid for nby some outside group.
Pitches- Football associations can make a penalty system. The concept is simple, you already have pitches, each pitch in the top two tier are viable. One by one must be used as a ground, but be in a certain condition, if the pitch isn't all the teams in the top two tier are fined. This will mean, every team in the top two tier will have to add one game every two season for the womens national team, where they maintain the pitch and pay for ball boys and other pitch activities
        Referees are paid by CAF.

The first questions are obvious, If players demand payment or coaches demand payment or travel pay, then what will happen? They will not play for a Football association that uses my financial suggestion to partake in my proposed structure to womens flag play in caf. The clubs will fall in line based on the fine, and they will offer pitches to play for the flag teams. The football associations have to pay the medics. Now what happens when no players or coaches are present, then the flag forfeits the match and they earn a lose. What if both teams do not show up, then both teams earn a lose.  The goal of the system isn't enforcement, it is raising opportunity or challenge. If mauritius/comoros/togo/mauretania side others do not have players/coaches available for play then they will forfeit, and earn a lose. The key is , none are being denied opportunity and the challenge is high.  Venezuelan mens soccer in conmebol is the best living example. This is a baseball country that for years played less than amateur players at times, against the likes of brazil or argentina. Decades of unconcern. But, eventually, Venezuelans got into the administration, and said they wanted to do better and they did and now, venezuela is still a bottom team but they are doing better than years past. IT is a slow process to get better.

Let us say, for example, I am the president of one of the following football associations, Comoros/Sao Tome and Principe/seychelles/guinea-bissau . I have no money for womens soccer. I can not pay for coaches/players/trainers/medics. I may not even have a stadium to play in. What do I do? Well, first strike off all away matches. I can not pay for the travel. So, in fourteen member COSAFA , the team will have thirteen loses in the Cup of Nations subconfederation table and thirteen loses in the world cup qualifying subconfederation table. Now for the home matches, the answer is simple, free public tryouts. I suggest a goalkeeper/backup goalkeeper/four defender/a backup defender/four midfielder/a backup midfielder/two forward/ a backup forward. The tryouts can be based on simplest athletic or skill ability, speed/strength/number of times a player can keep a ball bouncing. Me and the other administrators can do this. The selected players choose who to be their player/coach. Two days later, they play. Is this the best possible format for an football association to work, absent money? yes. Soccer as a sport started with non paid players, playing on rough pot holled pitches. Some how people have forgotten that or made that seem backward, but the goal is not to play on the bernebau pitch, the goal is to play as best you can, no complaints.

    End quote

... I do not have the financial power to make any changes I suggest. But, the current system clearly is dysfunctional for the womens game in C.A.F. If the system does not change, then the opportunity or challenge is not lessened, even if the current system allows a less embarassable view to CAF. But I am not embarassed by a football association in CAF using the cheapest means to be effective, it is better than doing nothing and the current system challenges most flags in C.A.F. to do nothing

    Title:  The Local club
Hope Solo , the greatest goalkeeper of the usa womens national team, and a current pundit to beinsports usa, shared a great question on her twitter
The question asked , if you had the chance to revitalize a historic team , who among teams will it be?
I come from harlem in manhattan in new york city in new york state, as a black person, Harlem I grew up in had only one team in its history that was initiated, owned, controlled, populated by black people and that was the harlem rens. If I had money I would restart the harlem rens as an all athletic club, in the way they exist in germany or brasil.
what say you? Name a historic club you will restart or invest in if able.

    Title: Balon D'or

Megan Rapinoe side Messi won the Balon d'or of ball of gold for 2019. I am an opponent to the balon d'or as I feel it is dysfunctional. If I had my rpeference I will delete it but even if it must be, my biggest issue is the dysfunctional aspect it has.
But to tackle the issue, the first point is determination. The question is, how can one player be determined to be better than all others in a team sport. The problem is no system exists that can provide a player who can not be contested. But the media thrives off of the contestability in picking a balon d'or.
I rephrase, the media, all concerns throughout humanity know people will have warranted contestations to whomever is picked, and thus use communication channels , like blogs/twitter feeds/et cetera to state their complaint or defense or case. sequentially make money for media concerns
The problem in using statistics is the team environment manipulate those statistics. If messi players for levante is he part of a trophy lifting team? The statistics messi earned is based on the quality he play aside. The problem in using team achievement is it is based on the team? If Rapinoe played for italy or ireland would she have such a huge online fanbase or had won world cups? The achievements she earned or the media sounding to her achievement is based on their team.
When Leicester city won the epl, Ngolo kante/jamie vardy/mahrez/kasper schemichel/wes morgan/shinji okazaki were not lauded as loudly as van djik/allison/mane/firminho/salah/ in liverpool who won the uefa champions league. Why? liverpool has a larger media footprint than leicester city, but does that make liverpool's recent achievement in the uefa champions league greater than leicester city's winning the epl? Is Jamie Vardy's goals that season less value than salah or sadio mane's last season? Is Ngolo kante's assist or interceptions during leicester city's run less valuable than virgil van djjik's during liverpool's recent uefa champions league win.
But, if no method exists to determine one player is above all others , but the two balls of gold must be given, what is the solution? The solution is to focus what the ball of gold represents.
What factors do people look at in determining a players greatness in the beautiful game?
Trophies won with club or flag
    statistics
    on pitch persona
    media strength
Trophies won with club or flag or statistics have trophies already. World cup trophy/Copa Libertadores trophy are examples of trophies players will get when they win for a club or country.
Statistics like scoring or saves or assist have the golden boot/golden glove/assist leader respectively .
What award exist for on pitch persona? none
What award exists for media strength? none
Sequentially, my solution is to focus the ball of gold awards to on pitch persona side media strength.
And if you take into account on pitch persona or media strength then messi side rapinoe are the undoubted winners in the christian calendar year two thousand and nineteen.
Messi has the highest meida profile of a male while rapinoe has the highest profile of a female soccer player.
If we delete club achievements or individual statistics from messi or rapinoe they win the balon d'or but the common media's attempt to link balon d'or winners success to their teams successes or balancing their statistics aside other players always unfairly, is deleted and that cleans up the dysfunctional arguments through media, which is probably what common media does not want, going back to the question , what is entertaining in sport punditry

JAmie easton made a comment about the balon dor, a historical one that made me think to some things
    <referal https://twitter.com/eastonjamie/status/1201634494647820289 >
I paraphrase my reply to him in the following prose...
has anyone powerful considered making the balon d'or for the top players in uefa/conmebol/caf/afc/concacaf? since each subconfederation to fifa has a top player, let them all win the balon d'or for a year. That solution lessens the need for competition and allows each region an equality that the balon d'or uefa centric community rejects.
    IN AMENDMENT 2
Another idea is less spoken off, but in club soccer, when a club wins a certain number of titles, they achieve a star on their shirt. Maybe if a player achieve two or more balon dor, then they get a balon de diamant. Basically, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge,Kevin Keegan,Alfredo Di Stéfano,Ronaldo,Franz Beckenbauer,Marco van Basten,Johan Cruyff,Michel Platini,Cristiano Ronaldo,Lionel Messi all receive balon de diamant, and cr7 side messi can no longer be eligible for the balon d'or. For players whose spirits have flown or players who no longer get paid to play they will get their balon de diamant while cr7 and messi can get their balon de diamant and can now battle out the new balon de diamant for still playing balon de diamant players. so 2020 balon de diamant can be between messi/cr7 solely. In this way, it makes the balon d'or more honest or competitive as heavily popular players have a limit on how many times they can win it. And other players who warrant more on the year have more space to win it.
