I did not.  Why bother when most of them are lying and will almost certainly do the bidding of their corporate masters as soon as they are in office?

Call me when the democratic primary is about to take place.

I didn't watch it either.
I refused to.

It's not like I was avoiding it to make a statement, but no one on that stage was energizing enough to even spend time listening to.

I won't be voting at all. Tulsi Gabbard is the only one I kind of like, and white liberals would never choose her anyway. I won't be voting at all in the Presidential Election and will be encouraging as many black people as possible not to vote. The choice in 2020 is left wing white supremacy or right wing white supremacy. We've had Donald Trump for 400 years. Nothing changes either way. Its status quo either way. I just think its fun watching these liberals have aneurysms over the whiteboy-in-chief now. If they want my vote, I need to see a black agenda. Homosexuality is not a black agenda as white liberals so desperately are trying to force all black people to believe.

P.S. I'm not POC or people of color. I'm BLACK.

I almost opted out of the last presidential election fir similiar reasons. I'd advise you to vote for the lessor of two evils.

This how we endded up with 45. Surely you have to believe Hillary would have been a little better than 45, right?

I wouldn't say "surely." Bill (and Hillary) Clinton's 1994 Crime Bill extended and strengthened the federal mandatory minimum "five years in prison no questions asked for possession of a grain of crack" law. Bill also gave $10 billion to private prisons in that bill. Hillary never openly or even semi-resisted that bill. 45 was elected because Democrats (the DNC/Wasserman-Schultz to be exact) picked the worst candidate possible...Hillary. Bernie Sanders, who I do not support, but appeared to be the best candidate at that point, probably would have won in 2016. But toxic feminism prevailed and now we have Trump.

I think where we can have the most impact is in LOCAL elections.   Electing Aldermen and Councilmen, Mayors, Sheriffs, County Executives, ect.....

The key is to have an AGENDA.
The main problem with most AfroAmericans is that they don't have an AGENDA for the people they vote for.
They just hope they aren't as racist as the person currently holding the seat.

AfroAmericans need an AGENDA and a VISION of how we would like to see this nation.
Fuck what OTHER people want to see and how THEY think America should be governed, we need to push what WE as AfroAmericans collectively want to see.  And that's often confusing because our community has become so fractured both culturally and morally today.

Kareem

Bernie Sanders, who I do not support, but appeared to be the best candidate at that point

I'm glad Bernie is starting to show his true racist colors now. Did you hear what he said about population control and abortion as a solution for "poor nations" ?

@Kareem, sure Bill was a disastrous president, but Hillary is not Bill and you've used Bill's record, unfairly, against Hillary.

Well that is because the so called "Afroamerican" is not, nor has it ever been a monolith. No sufficiently large geographically dispersed people are.

I agree however  politically  we need an agenda, things most of us are willing to fight for. @Pioneer1 (anyone) what are the top three things we should have on our agenda?

@Troy Hillary Clinton is a warmonger. All she ever talked about was blowing up this, obliterating that, etc. Hillary Clinton is the face of toxic feminism. Hillary Clinton used black prisoners for free labor at the governor's mansion in Arkansas. Hillary Clinton is just another corporate Democrat. We had two Bush's. We didn't need two Clintons and the black Bush named Obama, who is the biggest warmonger of them all. Warmongering instantly disqualifies candidates for me. The only Presidents since WW2 who weren't warmongers are JFK (the only President in history I admire and respect) and Carter.

@Pioneer1 Bernie talking about population control wouldn't shock me at all. He also recently had security remove a black man from a town hall because he asked about reparations.

@Maurice Trump is the 45th President of the United States, thus "45."

@Kareem Obama was a warmonger too. "Surely" He (and hillary) superior to 45. Right?

@Maurice the reason also has to do with a reluctance to refer to him as POTUS or even mention his name.

@Troy I, at once, believed this, but oh no, she is not 'a lesser of two evils', her camp is just as bad.

I read where, she lived and worked around Black males--prisoners [?] and they were male servants, in the govenors house and it was later deemed as slavery--free labor.

Then, about a month before elections, in Haiti, a major portest broke out, and the Haitians were protesting at the embassy due to Hilary and Bill, and it had to do with certain issues, one of which was being severely underpaid and another had to do with funds not going to relief of the hurricane. I don't understand it all, but I have heard enough to know something is wrong.

I missed this quote @Chevdove thanks for pointing it out.

45 is a lot better than most of the previous presidents. But the bar is pretty low. 45 has not stared any wars yet. He has not impregnated or held slaves, he has not committed genocide or taken land from other nations. Shoot, 45 even let a bunch of Black folks out of prison. He is easily in top quartile of U.S. presidents.

I still think Hillary would have been a better choice. Something tells me she would have risen above expectations.

Others have pointed out, the entire government needs to be overhauled; but the 3 biggests things I think would most immediately benefit AfroAmericans would be:

1. Reparations Package that would include a lot of things like education, healthcare, grants.
But unlike the benefits fought for in the 60s, this would be strictly for AfroAmericans only!
2. REAL Immigration control to keep OUR wealth in OUR hands
3.  REAL Sexual freedom that included polygamy and legalized prostitution (not just pushing sexual confusion)

Again, that's just a START.
But if we as a community (meaning atleast 25% of us because "most" negroes ain't doing shit) were to push THAT agenda at every opportunity it would jumpstart our economic and social success and help us to re-organize our family units.

Education, Jobs, Cultural Funding.

I think the main problem Afro-Americans have is lack of indentity and or rather homeland. However you could argue that is hat has made as the most copied but not financially rewarded. I say Black folks in the US are Culture Whores. We create it but get pimped.

Although that may not bring about a golden age. Since the system is designed for inequality. However there have been people who make it work. Although if you try to share the wealth there will be Sorrow Tears and Blood.

I like your idea of cultural funding, but the education and jobs thing I'm not so sure is a strong enough solution.
We tried that route in the 50s and 60s and while it worked for a fortunate FEW it didn't benefit the MASSES of our people.

This current educational system only helps the AfroAmericans who are exceptionally smart enough and disciplined enough to figure out Caucasian teaching methods and put up with the deceptive bullshit they teach you.....long enough to get your papers and move on.
Most AfroAmericans in my opinion aren't able to do that and they end up falling through the cracks.

And most of the jobs today that Caucasians are offering are high-tech IT type jobs in a sterile very politically correct corporate culture.....the type of atmosphere designed to get AfroAmerican men in trouble or keep them locked out.

We need OUR OWN educational systems and OUR OWN businesses to create OUR OWN jobs.
Going to Caucasian schools in order to come out and work for Caucasians is a major mistake that our people shouldn't make again.

This is just Honkeytonking on steroids, showing the extent of what they can do and what we would have been burned at the stake for.

Exactly. Again, if your paychecks come from white people, you are forced to obey them whether you want to or not. That's the main reason why all black celebrities (except Chappelle) are alphabet bandits or shoulder monkeys. That's why Kaepernick is so admirable. He stood on principle. I don't know what he's getting paid via Nike or what the NFL settlement was, but he took a stand and gave up white NFL money for black principles.

A black agenda top three for me would be:

1) Reparations in the form of a $150,000 cash payment to each black American who can prove they are descendants of slaves. Its not that hard. My great grandmother lived from 1898-2001. Glad I had the wherewithal to pick her brain before she passed away and she was very sharp up until her death).

2) Reparations in the form of sovereign land within the USA. Annexing about 15,000 square miles in southern Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida panhandle would suffice. It would be the 51st State. That way we have a seaport. But only married black couples with kids or wanting to have kids are allowed on the land in the beginning; so likely about 3 million of us total. Goal is to preserve our heritage. It would need to be far enough inland though so it cannot be in the direct line of fire from hurricanes. We'll call it "New Nubia."

3) Annually $4 billion payment to New Nubia for our National Guard, construction and education costs. They do that for Israel already, so they can do that for us. New Nubia and its citizens are also exempt from federal taxes for the first 100 years of its existence. We're also exempt from US Gaming laws so we can have casinos to draw tourism dollars from white people.

The total package would be about $5 to $7 trillion to get going. The US military would have to get the white inbreds out of our land initially and we'll take it from there once we've built our National Guard.  Anything less than all this is simply an insult to our intelligence.

It's implied( like cultural funding) that it is for the target audience.

They thought the same thing about Affirmative Action.

It was IMPLIED that it would help AfroAmericans move up the economic ladder, but in all actuality far more Caucasian women have benefitted from it than AfroAmericans.

We need to be more direct and specific in what we want and are trying to achieve.

Kareem

I like what you said about us having a portion of land set aside for ourselves.
I'm just wondering should we establish it in the United States.

Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT talking about all of us packing up and leaving.
This is OUR country and OUR land.
But I'm seriously thinking about us having dual citizenship status that allows us to own wealth, property, and hold office in the United States AND around the world!

Look at Israel and how so many Jews in the United States have dual citizenship and can benefit from both nations.

Chev

The education most essential to survival are SKILLED TRADES , HEALTH CARE, and AGRICULTURE.
And THAT is the type of education that we as AfroAmericans need to focus on getting, like Booker T. Washington started us off to doing.

All of this "IT" and computer programming garbage so many of our people are going to college for is a real waste of time in my opinion.  It's for people who ALREADY have a well established society and are now focused on having fun and fine tuning it.

The average AfroAmerican with a Master's degree has $50,000 worth of student loan debt and can even grow a tomato or fix a pothole in his driveway.
This "educated" negro has to beg some half-educated poor white man in a t-shirt and raggedy jeans to come  to his house and fix his driveway or he'll end up begging ANOTHER half-educated white man with confederate flag tattoos all over his damn arms to fix the damage to his car caused by the pot hole....LOL.

@Kareem your reparations package might be a good idea for a speculative fiction novel, but Earth is more likely to leave the solar system before any of those things take place -- let alone all three.

If the U.S. government gave Black people 150K, which is really not much money and quite doable. Shoot Jeff Bezos could do it all by himself and still be a multimillionaire when it is over. But struggling white people would lose their shit -- completely. You think there are mass shootings now...

Every location on the gulf coast of Florida's panhandle, Alabama, and Mississippi are prone to hurricane. If not, racists would just use their hurricane control device and destroy New Nubia, right @Pioneer1 🙂

Absolutely we should, along with your suggestion of dual citizenship. We built this country. This country would not exist without us. We especially built the Confederate states. Our land here wouldn't necessarily be "sovereign." We would be a state like Utah where they make laws based on Mormonism. We could have 2 U.S. Senators and several representatives in the U.S.House and our own state legislature, our own police, our own education system, etc.

We can always complete the project of "Liberia" that Russworm and Cornish started after the Civil War for our sovereign land on the Continent. We could also just use DNA and figure out our ancestry. I did mine and learned I'm 79% from a nomadic tribe in Burkina Faso. So I'd get my dual citizenship there and start businesses there. The rapper Akon said it best - the possibilities are endless in Afrika because everything is so "old." He said that he would never have been able to get into the energy business in the USA because the big oil and coal companies would have never allowed it.

She told me all about my great-great grandmother (her mom), who was born into slavery. Her name was Magnolia Thurman, meaning she was probably raped at some point by Strom Thurmond's ancestors. She said her dad was killed for trying to escape. She also knew of her grandmother (my great-great-great grandmother). But she was sold from a plantation in Rome, Georgia and my great-great grandmother was separated from her mom and never from her again. It was quite gut-wrenching to document.

Funny you mention that. I've got about 155 pages of my novel about this already done! Since I know I'll never see it in real life, I can use my creative juices to live it in a book. Who knows if I'll ever finish it. I started it almost 8 years ago. But its fun to escape into the words.

Your mentioning of doing business in Africa reminds me that Reparations aren't LIMITED to the United States, the rest of the Americas, or Europe.....but a lot of AFRICANS are going to have to pay up!
Whether it's African nations or African tribe/ethnic groups or even certain families who were actively involved in the Ma'afa, they are going to have to break us off something REAL PROPER !
I'm talking land, gold, business initiatives, ect...

And we better hurry up and get it because the Chinese are coming into Africa full force.

Lol....well remember truth is often stranger than fiction.

But I didn't say MONEY (although I wouldn't turn it down).
I said LAND, GOLD, and BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES among other valuables.

When Europeans colonized Africa they didn't come in looking for MONEY, but for those things that money BUYS that are far more valuable.
They wanted land, resources (natural and human), precious metals, ect....

Reminds of what Malik Shabazz said,
"We want some LAND...not some France!"

I don't want a bunch of damn near worthless brightly colored bills with pictures of the queen of england on them!
I want some of that LAND and RESOURCES you got overthere!

Correct. The dumb nigroes with second-hand guns and rum who were slave class themselves selling us to white people as slaves in the 1600-1800s, also owe us reparations. Many of them sold us and also became slaves themselves. Dumb nigroes basically.

True, however their numbers are shrinking because most of them DON'T NEED as many skilled tradesmen in their communities as we do.
Most White people already live in well built infrastructures where the buildings and roads are solid and they have plenty robots and machinery to maintain their communities without the need for excess manpower.
As AfroAmericans we don't have those luxuries.
Most AfroAmericans don't live in communities with well built infrastructures, don't have technology and machinery at their disposal and have to call and beg Caucasians to come in and do every little thing for them because they don't know how to fix a toilet.

We can't compare our condition and what WE need with theirs.

I agree with you 100%!
It's all about BALANCE and having the proper amount of focus on each field.

We don't need a TOP HEAVY society where 90% of our people have degrees and the other 10% are "going to school" to get one......meanwhile roofs are caving in, watermains are bursting, and garbage is piling up on the streets because you have too many "brainy" negroes who don't want to get their hands dirty and repair their own communities.

Next time you go out, look on the street at who's doing construction, roofing, or any other type of physical labor....it's mostly Caucasians and Latinos.
Why don't AfroAmericans WANT to get out in the sun and do physical work anymore?
It's because many of them have been made too damn lazy.

Even during slavery Black people knew how to build their own houses and plant their own crops!
How many can do that today?
