According to the good, edumucated, GOP folks in Florida, centuries of Chattel Slavery were apparently a great deal for us Black peeples. Why, we should be eternally grateful for all those decades of wanton brutality, vicious lynchings, psychotic mass killings and continuous denials of our humanity - so sayeth today’s Republicans. And since we now know there’s no difference between Republicans and Democrats (according to some in this group) we just oughta bow down in permanent gratitude. Because the goofballs in Florida hath declared that during Chattel Slavery we darkies picked up vital skills that would benefit us all of our born days. And this happened despite us not being considered human, worked from sunup to sundown, prevented from going to school and murdered if we so displayed a frown when our mothers, daughters or sisters were being raped. All while White folks earned millions from our unpaid labor. So, sayeth all Republicans who done love ‘em some Ron DeSantis. For the dullards who simply don’t know any better, Reparations will not be just for our suffering. They would also be fair payment for all the labor we were forced to perform for free. If we were ever justly compensated for our centuries of pain, rape and suffering, then the Heavens would award us the Earth. By the way, I’m happy Carlee Russell got home safe. I’m not gonna rag on her. I think her boyfriend spoke for many when he erased her from his social media. I will not be thankful for Slavery.

@Troy Why don't you ever say phenotypical race? I notice you never say that. You say race when I say phenotypical race. Melanin has nothing to do with assessing gender race or linguistical race or age race, or geographic race, or cultural race or financial race , but in phenotypical race, melanin is a dictater to the color of skin and sequentially, appearance, which is another word for phenotype. I am not trying to be insulting, but to suggest melanin production can't be used to determine phenotypical race which is appearance is an illogic. You basically said the factor that dictates the color of skin, the epidermis that covers most of the body is not good enough to determine how people look. Can you explain more how people's skin can't be used to determine their difference of appearance?

Chev I believe that there should be a standard that we humans should stem from and that person in that photo, seems suspect to be defined as being Black, unless he/she/they was indeed raised in a Black Cuban culture before going to Greece. EXACTLY I've been saying this for years, infact. That there should be a STANDARD by which most of us can agree on to determine who is Black, who is White, who is Female, who is Male. That way we cut down on the deception and confusion. If there is no standard, what's to stop some blonde haired blue eyed White boy who loves Whitney Houston to run around calling himself a BLACK WOMAN and talking about he got "Black girl magic" as he runs in and out of female restrooms? There must be standards. And White folks DO have standards.....they push that "anybody can be anybody" shit on Black folks silly enough to believe it. At the end of the day they recognize that THEY are White and in charge. For those who doubt this, consider this........ A white man can run around all day long claiming to be "Black" and the Black community will often embrace him and take him in as one of our own.....but how many BLACK men who are obviously BLACK phenotypically can run around claiming to be "White" and be accepted by White folks and embraced by them as such? Why does it only seem to work in ONE DIRECTION?????? "I know I LOOK Black....but I'm really one of you guys!"

@Pioneer1, I'll let you and @Chevdove get back to the biological/philosophical discussion but I must ask.... Black men have a whole continent that is Africa. They are running around knocking up women and having a bunch of kids too. Almost a billion people there. Let Africans tell it, every other dude is some kind of king or chief or educated or rich, etc. They are Uber drivers here.🤣 According to your logic, African men should be controlling the wealth of Africa from top to bottom. There should be no poverty or famine. Africa should be the land of paradise. Far from it. In fact, a bunch of Africans haul azz to predominantly white countries looking for greener pastures instead of building up their own continent. If virile Black men are only good for reproducing more weak, poor people...that doesn't seem like a lofty and/or productive goal.😎
